Summoning

With the trio in tow, Vergil returned home. Tomorrow is a big day as tomorrow is the day they'll be summoned to another world.

Vergil opened guest rooms for the trio and since Hiyori can't make it back home, she decided to stay. He fed them with the remaining curry before resting.

The next morning, Vergil woke up early to fulfill his promise to prepare meals. He started cutting up the ingredients and started cooking.

Soon, the trio woke up and came out of their room. The scent of food, wafting into the air, entered their noses.

"You guys are finally awake." Vergil said while Yukine and Hiyori yawned and stretched their bodies.

"Never knew that sleeping on a bed was heavenly." Yukine said earning pity from Hiyori. Meanwhile Yato plopped down on the couch.

"Alright, eat up. Hiyori, don't you have classes, today?" Vergil asked and panic struck Hiyori.

"I forgot! W-what should I do?!" Hiyori said panicking.

"Well, you've got no choice but to go home and enter the second period. Since you're late and all already, eat some first before you return. Running with an empty stomach is bad after all." Vergil said making Hiyori nod reluctantly as every second counts for her right now.

"Aren't you gonna eat?"Hiyori asked Vergil.

"Nah, I've already eaten." Vergil said as he prepared his own boxed lunch.

"Yukine, Hiyori, since Yato is sleeping, I want you to convey my message to him." Vergil said as he slid two cards in front of them.

"These cards have their own purpose. One of the card is a bank account you could use to buy grocery, the other card contains you guys' salaries for one whole year. I would like to add that taking care of the house while I'm gone is also your job." Vergil said and Hiyori took one of the card for groceries. Yukine on the other hand took the salary card.

"Well then, I'm off." This time I took my handheld bag and slung it off my shoulder before leaving and closing the door.

"I'll take care of the groceries and cook if Vergil's not home." Hiyori said happily.

"You say that but aren't you late already?" Yukine said as Hiyori panicked and started eating faster making her choke on food.

"Old man, I'll be leaving for a little bit but I'll be back before you know it though." Vergil said to the gravestone as the morning wind blew over him.

"Did you take the chance I gave you?" Kaori asked her friend who knitted her eyebrows in return.

"Its all just a coincidence, okay? And we didn't do anything, he just made dinner, that's all." Shizuku said making Kaori smile.

"So you did take it." Kaori said making Shizuku sigh, lately she's been sighing a lot because of Vergil. Yes, she blames Vergil for making her sigh a lot.

"You do know that class is about to start in 15 minutes, right? Why'd you pull me out here?" Vergil asked as he looked at Kinjou.

Vergil was about to leave the old man's tomb when Kinjou's men called him to talk with Kinjou on the way to school.

"You're the one who did it aren't you?" Kinjou asked as Vergil raised an eyebrow on his question.

"If you're talking about the robbery then you got the right person." Vergil admitted, he still think that offering their belongings to the God they worship is a good thing.

"Many people coveted the treasures of the Higuchi family, be careful. Lots of people are searching for you." Kinjou said and Vergil chuckled at his warnings.

"Then let them search for me." Vergil said with a grin.

'They're not gonna find me anyways.' Vergil thought to himself.

"Is that all? If so, I've got to go now or I'll be late in class." Vergil said as he opened the door out of the limousine. Other students were looking at Vergil in surprise and envy.

Not minding them, Vergil came to the room to see Hajime reading books about guns. Vergil sat down and placed his bag at his desk earning Hajime's attention.

"Oh, you're early today." Hajime said making Vergil tilt his head.

"Why do you seem surprised?" Vergil said making him thought for a short time as well.

"Well, you're always barely making it in time, looking sleepy, and now, for two days straight, you're pretty early, and you're not plopping down first thing in the morning." Hajime said and Vergil lightly chuckled.

"Well I did sleep yesterday. Night's a little rough so yeah I had little sleep yesterday." Vergil said and Hajime questioned.

"Do you work part-time?" Hajime asked but Vergil shook his head.

"Nah, just some stuff within the family, you know." Vergil said making Hajime confused. He was about to ask again when Aiko came in and the students all stood up to greet her.

"Good morning class, how do you feel today?" Aiko asked and looked at Vergil. When she saw that Vergil was not sleeping she sighed in relief and was glad that none of her students are sleeping.

"We're fine, Aiko-sensei." A student said making Aiko smile like a kid.

Aiko then started roll calling for attendance and her face turned cheerful when she saw no one absent today. Unfortunately for her, they were going to be dragged by a God for his own game of war as his pawns.

Light started shining inside the room, a magic circle started forming its job as it envelops everyone in the class. People stood up to make a run for it, only to notice that the door can't be opened.

"What's happening?!" A student shouted.

"Let us out!!" Another student banged the door really hard but no one heard their cries for help.

Ryutarou, Kouki's friend picked up his chair and threw it on the window and he was surprised when he saw the chair break into pieces.

"Guys! Calm down!" Aiko tried to calm her students as they cower in their seats.

"What's happening, Vergil?" Hajime asked him.

"Dunno, but if that thing on the center gets completed then were done for." His words were loud enough and the students started doing their best to remove the magic circle but is a magic circle that easy to remove? They did their best to scratch it with sharp objects but the magic circle still continued is course.

Soon, light covered the entire room that they had to cover their eyes, shout, and cry in desperation. Meanwhile, Vergil felt like someone scanned his body out like an x-ray scanner. Vergil started tampering with it by using his mana and debuffed himself like an ordinary young man.

He knew that the scan was scanning their body stats like strength, agility, endurance, and etc. Vergil tampered with the scan because if they found out that he had the highest of stats, they would start leaning on him like its his responsibility, he didn't want that, he was here to have fun and become stronger.

Soon, the light faded and in front of the students is an old man wearing pure white rob with golden accessories and a golden wand.

"Heroes summoned from other world. Welcome to Tortus!" The old man said as he looked at every student in the eye.

There's a few things I'd like to address, alright?

First off, about the power rankings, SCREW THAT. Power rankings are basically useless, what matters most is your ability to fight, the one who could use their attributes to the fullest would be the winner. Its already pointed out by Zeltretch early on.

Second, about the crossovers, I'll tell you this now, every world is an alternate universe, throw 'some' of the common senses of the table. Although Zaraki Kenpachi is here and I mentioned Yamamoto, doesn't mean its a crossover of the bleach world. I just want them there to liven up the home world.

Sure Dante got big brains for juggling with different weapons but it takes fcking skill to juggle with Vergil because all you have is Yamato and phantom swords. He takes out opponent with style as well.
