CHAPTER 82: You Are All Painfully Aware

Saphira laughed it off but she couldn't help to scratch her cheek at the thought of scaring everyone away.

Though she prefers this than actually being mocked all day long.

That was a very tiring thing.

"Then shall we add more notorious thing in my name?" she said with an evil laugh.

"I don't think I would like the outcome of this," Stormie commented.

Saphira grinned before walking towards the platform where everyone could see her.

Once there, all eyes were already on her that she didn't need to call for their attention at all.

'How much more fasmous could I get?' she thought laughing at herself.

Using her physical mana, she enhanced her voice in order for the whole training ground to hear her.

Physical mana can be used in many ways.

Strengthening your body, or your eyesight or your voice or your hearing.

Physical and magical mana are the two things that could be developed as they grow.

Everyone has physical mana.

While magical mana are those gifted with abilities.

After enhancing her voice, Saphira started talking.

"I think you are all painfully aware of my strength by now."

The knights gritted their teeth in irritation with the way she used her words and how smug she looks.

Even though that was the truth, to be spoken in such a provocative way, they would instantly be angered.

Stormie couldn't help but to slap her forehead seeing how Saphira was agitating the knights.

Seeing their reaction, the fear slowly dissipating, Saphira smiled even wider.

That's right, she was tired of being mocked but she didn't want to be feared either.

Agitating them is a good way of making them forget the scary things they witnessed about her.

"So if any of you were to see one of the four generals then please tell them that I am issuing a challenge to duel them."

Murmurs instantly erupted with the way she was issuing it.

She was irritating them even more because she was simply saying that they are no longer a match to her, that she'd rather duel the genarals than to play around with them.

"Not simply with swords but with abilities as well."

Her additional words shocked them this time.

She always challenges others with her sword alone.

The only time they saw her using her ability was when she used it in torturing Esther.

It seems that this challenge isn't simply a spur of the moment thought.

But she was serious.

She was seriously challenging the four generals of the Empire.

Among the generals, including her father.

The four posts, the north, east, west and south, were the posts that hold the highest positions among the generals.

Her father being one of those who are under these four generals.

A commander that is higher than the captains.

Even though Saphira was the commander of the special Order, she was still lower in rank towards these four.

And for her to issue such a challenge, it was either bravery or stupidity.

No one had ever tried challenging these four other than the heads and by themselves.

"Well, that's all for my request, please do inform them that I will be waiting in this ground every single day until they are available for a challenge."

Stormie turned agape after listening to what Saphira had just said.

She really sometimes couldn't understand just what it is that was going on in Saphira's mind.

Ever since they met, she feels as if Saphira became even more eccentric than she already is.

"What did we just hear?"

She looked at her side to see Ridge, Nixon, Willow and Drake standing beside her.

She didn't even realize that they were there because of how absurd Saphira had spoken.

Even Drake, who always looked at Saphira with irritation, was now looking at her as if she had seriously lost her mind.

"I also don't understand what is going on," Stormie replied.

"Hey guys."

Saphira smiled upon seeing them while waving her hand towards them.

"I know you are strong but isn't this a bit of an overkill?"

Just as she reached them, Willow instantly frowned.

"Not really, after all, this is a necessary thing," she replied looking around.

She can see that every person, who are present, are looking at her as if she really had lost it.

Drake frowned, every single time she do something that they would never imagine she would do, it was as if they are receiving a riddle.

"Saphira, why does it feels like you are implying about something else, something much deeper than how you are portraying it?"

It was Nixon who voiced out the question in Drake's mind.

"Oh, am I? But isn't it that I need to understand my own strength. And taking on the generals is a good step in understanding it. So this is a necessary thing." she replied seriously.

"You guys are here for some training right? Why don't you go and begin?" she then said without waiting for any of them to ask any more questions.

Though still confused, there is no point in trying to make her speak.

She had always been someone that if she wants to hide something she would answer you in a vague manner.

To the point where you thought you received the answer you wanted when in reality you didn't.

It is better to just focus on getting stronger.

"Saphira."

Saphira turned to Willow who stayed.

"Hmmm?"

"I wanted to thank you. I didn't get the chance back then and then we all became busy that I could no longer do so. Still I want to thank you now, for everything."

Saphira smiled, "It was also for the Empire. I am just doing my duty, but welcome."

"And, they said before Esther were beheaded she had seriously repented. I thought she would try and fight it or glare at people but instead they said she simply closed her eyes and accepted her fate."
