It didn't take long before they were able to clean up the place and got all the bodies.
It was now night.
"I want you to burry them as deep as possible. Not just six feet," Saphira started.
Hunter looked at her.
"I want to burn this kingdom down, each and everything about it."
They all furrowed thier brows.
"The memory here is painful... I don't want us to keep on remembering it when we have to pass by it."
"Saphira?" Stormie called.
Saphira smiled, "And once the war is over, we will come back and bring it back to life."
They were even more confused.
"For now just do it," she didn't elaborate.
She turned to the bodies, "Please wait for us to come back. I will make this place a proper place for you once we return."
The wind blew as she spoke, "We were late this time and the amount of time before we could come back might be far longer but we will surely return. This time, we will surely return."
She looekd at Hunter and nodded her head.
Willow used wood to make them coffins while Hunter created a very deep hollow within the ground.
Willow controlled the coffins and slowly laid them on the hollow.
Since there were thousands of them, the forest was actually not enough, so they had to take up at least a part of the kingdom itself.
After they were burried, Saphira faced them.
"Go towards the mountain a few kilometers from here. I will follow you after I burnt this place down."
She didn't want them to be shackled, that is why she was also erasing the existence of this place.
No one stopped her when she turned to face the whole kingdom itself.
The reason she had Hunter burry them deeper was because she wanted to make sure that they won't be affected by the fire.
Hunter and the rest followed her instruction and left.
Saphira closed her eyes.
"Let's purify this place now, Light."
"I have your back."
When Saphira opened her eyes once again, there was a golden color within it, her hair had it as well.
She raised her hand, "Phoenix."
After she had lost her Phoenix, this move became her strongest.
She wanted Phoenix to keep on accompanying her in her most difficult battles.
It could fly and burn what is passes through.
She didn't need to keep on controlling it as if it had a life of its own.
This move was what she had perfected in the eight years that she was away.
The phoenix this time had a tinge of gold in it as well.
"Burn everything."
The fire phoenix screeched, even this part became possible.
It flew all over the place, burning everything that it passes through.
Saphira watcehd the whole kingdom burn.
Etching every scene in her memory.
"I will never forget, the people who died, I will never forget that there was once a Hydra Kingdom in the map of this world."
She turned to the now graveyard of Hydra Kingdom.
"Many will not know of you, a lot knows but will forget. But I won't, I promise that I won't until I breath my last."
A warm wind passed by her.
It may be warm because of the big fire but she felt warmth in her heart as well.
*****
Willow sat on a boulder facing the direction of Hydra Kingdom.
From this place, they could still see it burning, showing how big the fire had been.
She had just pushed the others away, telling them that she wants to be alone.
*CRACK*
"I told you I want to be alone."
She gritted her teeth when she heard someone approaching her.
But instead of a person, it was a fury white beast that came close to her.
She turned and watched White Tiger lie down, he was so big that she could lie down on him as he lay behind and beside her.
He was like wrapping his whole body on her.
The warmth of his fur made her sob once again.
White Tiger didn't speak adn simply gave her warmth on this cold night.
Willow leaned on him and cried all over again.
She curled herself on his body and cried.
It feels like no matter how much she cries, she just can't stop.
"If you knew, would you have stopped her from getting close to him?"
Drake turned to Ridge who walked over.
They were a few distance away from Willow and White Tiger.
"There will always be no ifs here. He could have lived and made her happy, I have no desire of stopping her from finding her happiness," Drake replied.
"Why can't it be you then?" Ridge asked him seriously.
In the past drake would answer that he still has his hatred he wants to distinguish by getting back at Raynisha.
But seeing Willow's tears for the very first time because of how painful she feels.
"I wonder myself, why can't it be me."
Ridge looked at him stunned.
"Watching her be happy with someone else is painful but not as painful as this."
He sighed but didn't say anything more.
Ridge could see him being conflicted and so he chose to push through in telling him to go and be with her.
After all, Willow had just lost someone important to her.
It would seem like Drake was simply trying to cheer her up by saying he will be with her.
It does not have that much sincerity in it.
At the same time, if Willow were to accept, then he would act as a rebound. Someone to stop the pain she was feeling.
Ridge patted him on the shoulder before leaving him on his own.
