CHAPTER 210: It Was A Natural Reaction

Willow didn't go to bed after coming back, unlike the other ladies who would think about the time they spent together and have a silly smile on their faces, she had learned her lesson.

She instead went at the back of the inn where there was an open space.

The reason the guys chose this place to have their rest.

In there she started controlling the plants surrounding her.

What she was currently trying to train was to use lesser mana in controlling the plants and in creating more plants.

After spending time with Raizen today, she felt even more motivated in her training.

She had found out that he was actually an orphan who was simply gifted with an ability.

With that he trained as hard as he could to become a respected knight.

It is still there, despite being small.

The fact that non noble born are being looked down upon by those who are noble born.

She wondered if he were being looked down upon even after everything but he replied that that was no longer the case.

People has respect for him now and that he knew, all the hardwork he placed on it has paid off.

The light in his eyes made Willow respect him more.

He wasn't into the prestige of being a knight, instead he just want to prove to the rest of the people that even none nobles or even orphans can do just fine.

That if they persevered and didn't give up, everything will pay off eventually.

But Raizen also added that he had those other knights who supported him as well.

If not, if he really was alone then surely, he may have had a much more difficult time than what he had experienced.

As she listened to his story, Willow was encouraged to do better on herself.

She has a much easier path than him, despite what they have encountered, it is still much better.

"Hmmm, it seems her new found friend has a good impact on her."

Drake looked at Saphira, who at some point in time had appeared beside him.

He actually followed Willow after she returned tonight.

He didn't expect that despite being out for the whole day, she still chose to train in the night.

Though surely Saphira would have berated her if she did rest after enjoying the whole day.

He didn't reply to Saphira but he did silently agreed to what she had just said.

This is the first time he saw Willow being encouraged to do better on herself because of others.

The way she acts is much different in the past when they simply train.

The fire in her eyes were brighter.

Saphira glanced at Drake before walking back to the inn.

She actually saw Willow returning with a man, to whom she suspected as the one they were talking about last night.

She saw Drake nod at that man and saw that there was no negative emotion coming from him towards this person.

She watched him follow Willow and ended up doing the same.

"How was it?" Stormie asked her after seeing her return.

"Hmmm, everything's going fine and I got the answers I needed," she replied lying down on the bed.

She was really tired as she and Hunter went all over the place today.

"What answers were you looking for anyway?" Stormie asked in curiosity.

"Simple questions, nothing major," she replied before closing her eyes.

It was truly nothing major at this moment but Saphira would soon regret this choice of words.

If she didn't think of it as something minor then maybe they would have done better.

They would have been able to prevent more tragedy.

Yet as of this moment, this is her current mindset.

A mindset that Vermilion Bird and Light wasn't too keen in thinking about as well.

The next day, they each had their own training. Doing their best in trying different things.

This time, Drake followed Hunter's lead and he started on checking the outer core of the earth.

The outer core layer of the earth was comprised of molted iron and nickel.

As someone holding White Tiger that reigns over the metals, this one is his best option.

Having such an unlimited source of weapon, who wouldn't want to train on it?

Each of them are doing their best to become stronger, now with more knowledge on other things. It is just right that they do what they can while they still have the time.

All of them understood it as well, that they can't have their sweet time in things.

Hunter went along with him for he wasn't still that good at controlling the magma.

The others did their own training as well.

A few more days and...

"Perfect timing," Saphira said.

The orb was left to her and Felix have contacted her for their location.

"Why?" Felix asked.

"You have a role to play on the barrier creation, it is just time that you can come back earlier so that we can start up in trying it out."

Felix was definitely not expecting that he would play a role in it.

Nevertheless he was happy that he could be of some help after the blunder he did just before he left.

"Very well, I shall get there at the earliest time possible," he said before the call ended.

Saphira looked at the rest who came back on by one.

"Felix is returning, we can start with the creation of the barrier."

Just like Felix they looked at her in confusion, they did wonder why they didn't start trying it out the moment that Saphira and Hunter found out the knowledge about it.

They didn't expect that she was actually waiting for Hunter.

"What you all will start trying to make is a pillar of your mana. The more concentrated it is the better. You can't be using outside elements, it has to be your very own ability."

When one uses the elements or the woods and the rest, some natural essence from these ones would still be combined to it.

It was a natural attraction.
