CHAPTER 181: The Guardian Of Light

"Are you telling me that in the illusion, we were sweet?"

After speaking of this, Saphira felt goosebumps all over her body.

Not just her but even Willow.

She remembered just how much the Saphira in the illusion would stick to her.

It was seriously not a good one.

Both of them ended up rubbing their arms at the thought of this.

They were so used with the way they interact now that thinking about acting sweet with one another would be repulsive enough.

"Both of youa cts like you actually hate each other right now," Nixon pointed out seeing their actions.

"It's not that but, think about it, when you and Stormie suddenly acts sweet with one another. What would you feel?" Saphira answered.

Nixon frowned while Stormie shivered and acted the same way as Willow and Saphira.

Ridge raised an eyebrow, while Saphira had a different glint on her eyes.

Nevertheless both of them didn't open their mouoths after Saphira gave this comparison.

"Anyway, so you got a hold of yourself because of our relationship. Well, ain't that a good thing? You should really thank Willow and I then."

Saphira was smug at what she had heard making the rest have their lips twitch.

"You know after waking up this time, your character surely evolved," Stormie couldn't help but to point out.

Saphira laughed before she turned serious.

"Well then, let me introduce someone to you."

Feeling that the atmosphere have changed, Zian wanted to leave for he was still considered an outsider regarding a lot of matters.

He was simply curious about the fact that the others were able to get out of the illusion without too much of a hassle.

And since Felix will be travelling with them, even though he was just with them for a short period of time, Zian didn't think that he wasn't supposed to be there.

Even though he was from a different Kingdom.

"It is fine, you can stay. This matter will not remain as a secret for so long anyway," Saphira understood his intention and made him stay.

She was not prejudiced about him being there.

Plus what she had said was the truth, she will be using this from now on, everyone will find out about it in the end.

After everyone settled, a small ball of light came out of Saphira.

And this small ball of light turned into a small lady with golden glitter surrounding her.

She was half a foot tall with knee length golden hair.

Her eyes were of the same golden color with fair skin as white as snow.

She was wearing a white long off choulser dress with the sleeves reaching her wrist.

Other than the golden sparkle surrounding her, nothing else seemed too extraordinary.

Everyone who are present tilted their heads to the side.

Their are beasts who has human bodies.

Vermilion and the rest could change into one while the king of butterflies has this characteristic.

But this is the first time they are seeing someone like this.

There are no wings or scales or other things that could imply that she was a beast.

Instead even with her size, she was a human looking one through and through.

She smiled at them before giving a polite bow, "Hello to all of you, you can call me light. I am now a power on your side."

After listening to her, all eyes went up to Saphira asking her what was going on?

"As you have heard, she is light her power is the opposite of darkness..."

She had told them then that an egg appeared within her aftter she had woken up from the tragedy with the elite squad.

This egg had some golden linings but Saphira has no idea what it was.

Vermilion Bird was the same, he was bewildered about its appearance.

Nevertheless, after receiving this egg, Saphira could perceive the emotions of the people around her much clearly.

To be precise she can tell just when darkness started taking root in the hearts of the people around her.

She can then help them by either talking them out of it, accepting that it was an ugly side of theirs or she could use the little power from the egg.

This little power was also what she had been using from time to time in order to fight against the darkness.

She had told them that she can somehow devour darkness and the egg will absorb it.

After she received her power back from Vermilion Bird and she had devoured more power from that island especially against Raynisha, the egg started cracking.

Soon she started feeling like her body was on fire until she was enveloped inside that cocoon when that egg finally cracked open.

"Oh even when you guys accepted thins, like apologizing sincerely or accepting that you were wrong? It also somehow gave a food to the egg."

She felt those emotions being absorbed by her and in turn by the egg.

"I have a thought of what power it was because it was so effective against darkness but everything was confirmed when she opened her eyes."

The lady smiled, "I am the guardian of light, just like how the mythological beasts who reign over the elements, I reign over the attribuite light."

They soon turned agape, so there was such a power?

All along a power opposing darkness was there?

Well, there is darkness obviously there is light.

But everyone thought that the powers they had were the ones representing the power of light.

Who would have thought that such a thing actually exists?

And most of all, it was actually bestwoed to someone near them.

And that person was the same person who loves lazing around but was actually hiding so many secrets.

They looked at Saphira with shock.

Saphira grinned, "I'm amazing aren't I?"

But even with that grin and goofy look, they can see it, in her eyes there was worry.

Worry about a great power bestowed on you.

She sighed seeing that they can see through her, "With great power comes great responsibility."
