CHAPTER 114: Yes, Unwillingly That Is...
Hunter stood up and called Qirin outside.
"You already knew about him, didn't you?" he asked him.
"I met him back when we were fighting against the jelly fish in Cetus Kingdom," Qirin replied.

'This aura...' Qirin thought as he flew towards the place Hunter told him to go and help.
He himself have suppressed his own aura, so at his speed, the other one would be caught off guard upon his arrival.
True to his thought, upon arrival the one who just picked up another knight close to being dead was stunned silly by his appearance.

'I'll come back,' Vermilion Bird interrupted him to take the unconscious knight away.
Qirin was looking at him in a way that says that he does not believe it.
'I swear,' Vermilion Bird continued speaking through a link.
Saphira had told him to take care of this place without alerting anyone but he didn't expect that it would be Qirin who would be sent here.
If it were the others then Vermilion Bird could still hide but Qirin is different.
Now he was left with no choice but speak with Qirin for a bit.
True to his words, he did returned but remained hidden.
When things are better, Qirin approached him.
"No one must know," Vermilion Bird instantly said.
"But-"
"Someday, everything will surely be explained but for now, just turn a blind eye to my appearance here. I shouldn't have appeared if not for those brats," Vermilion Bird continued.
"Then she..."
Qirin wants explanation but he can tell that Vermilion Bird wouldn't explain no matter how much he pester.
"Yes, unwillingly that is..."
Before he could ask more, Vermilion Bird left.
Left with no choice, he could only keep quiet.
He trusts Vermilion Bird that someday indeed will come.
After all they are fighting the darkness, Vermilion Bird will surely appear.

Though Qirin didn't expect that it would actually happen so soon.
"I see," Hunter said.
He wasn't mad or anything, he was simply asking when he noticed how Qirin was the only one not shock in seeing Vermilion Bird.
"Very well, since Roc will be helping out. You go and return to the Empire, inform them and tell them we will be needing their help," he tasked him.
Qirin nodded his head and without changing his size, he flew up and left.
It is better to fly with a smaller stature than a big one where he would attract so many eyes.
Hunter returned inside where Vermilion Bird is concentrating on returning Saphira's mana to her.
He had already explained that once he returns it, the heat will surely rise unconditionally inside her body.
It will run rampant, so to help her, they will place her in an ice glacier.
This will contrast the heat.
They didn't need to worry that it will cause more damage because Saphira is aware of what will happen once it is returned to her.
Even though she is unconscious, she know what she will do in taking in all this mana.
She was also the one who suggested that she is to be placed on ice.
"You will have to repair the ice from time to time since the heat will surely melt it," Vermilion Bird told Roc, Stormie, Black Tortoise and Nixon.
Roc and Black Tortoise were actually wondering what was with Vermilion's set up.
The two of them could have done it but why did he choose to make the brats- the hosts do it instead.
And so they asked making Vermilion Bird roll his eyes.
'Yes, that is indeed Vermilion Bird, too lazy even on explanation,' Black Tortoise couldn't help but think.
"Training, is what she said," he pointed at Saphira.
Even up to this point she was thinking of training them.
"I want our commander back," Stormie pouted.
"Why don't you try speaking about that when everyone is present?" Nixon rebuked.
As of the moment, Ridge and Willow left to survey the surrounding.
Drake went out and chose a different spot to recuperate.
Hunter was the only one standing there with them.
"What about you? Don't you want her back? Admittedly I really am in the wrong, I know that and I haven't apologized for my negligence properly but all of us can tell. She is the most appropriate person in being a commander."
When Nixon answered back to her, he simply wanted to lighten the mood for they would surely start arguing if one were to contradict the other.
He didn't expect that Stormie would actually seriously reply to him.
Well, the gravity of what she has done was still weighing on her after all.
He did get mad at her back then but he was past it already.
"Stop chit chatting and start concentrating," Vermilion Bird spoke to them.
Both pursed their lips, back then Vermilion Bird rarely comes out.
He never spoke with them but receiving his words now, they felt scared towards him instead.
'Well, he is lazy even in speaking. He had already spoken so much today so he is quite irritated. Just focus for now,' Black Tortoise and Roc spoke to their through their link.
They could only nod their heads with the same thought.
'Like host like mythological beast.'
It didn't take long before they started.
And soon, Saphira is encased in an ice glacier.
Her body is in a stagnant manner now.
Her time is currently stopped in order to allow her body to recover as well.
"It's pretty," Stormie couldn't help but asy as she looked at the ice glacier that became the wall of the room.
Saphira was already beautiful but the ice glacier gave it a different charm.
She looks like a fire and ice princess.
Vermilion Bird having the connection with her didn't return inside her in order to ensure that she wouldn't be placed in danger.
If her body becomes too hot, he would know.
Then he could instruct them to strengthen the glacier.
