[Reviewed on: 25-06-2021] P.s, not a fabricated review, it has some insights for new readers. GOOD POINTS: - A new kind of rebirth (unexpected tbh) MC is reborn in his own son's body (who died after being born and then MC's soul is transferred to his body) - Mc is sharp, collective, reserved and knows how to take what he wants. (since his mental age is ripe and he has a motive since the beginning) - The creation of atmosphere is well placed, that one can totally sense the fear of Blood Victor and feel pity for Lyla, and the widow (in later chaps) - Dialogues are a vital part of the story's flow, the author has done great job into making them audible in reader's head with the scenario. - Description is highly showing and is telling wherever it was required. - The storyline appears to be already set and predictable, but I highly trust the author for that (since I've read his 'killer MC' story which has suspense and mystery element.) - I believe there won't be just plain rebellion and war with just pointless matters, rather than author has planned to give it a turn at one point. - The pace is quite fine, not too fast nor too slow. The quality is highly readable (trust me on that whenever I say that.) - The one thing I loved (idk if other readers might notice or not) but the author has presented the 'blind belief without questioning' of people on God and Devil both, which itself was an amazing addition to the plotline. - On the same above point the chapter titles of initial ones are cleverly crafted out, which also makes readers to ponder that if the MCs personality too is based on that? - No! The MC is eager to break that so-called image set by the Nigrosians because he himself is struggling to remove the seal on him, thus in turn rebelling against the magic and course of nature. - Although I'm not sure from where that 3 eyed man reference is taken but his emergence itself leaves a question that is he a sage, monk, God, Devil, or some other deity who is watching over Argus (MC), and if that's the case, will Argus conquer lands and skies? WEAKNESS: - Apparently I didn't find any flaw or lacking, but I believe the instability of updates can count as one.
5/5 because right at the start, the author did a great job in capturing its reader's attention. I like how the words played images in my mind just by reading them. The plot has a unique quality that would leave you craving for more chapters. Call me bias (ehem, I love fantasy novels, lol) but this novel is worth a try. :)) I advise you, if you have yet to try this one, to come and delve into another dimension and forget reality for a while. hehe. Great job author-nim :))
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! The novel is quite interesting and has a lot of potentials and a nice plot to offer. The characters are unique and well described, the prose flows nicely from chapter to chapter. The way the author has described scenes is what entertained me the most. Really loved reading it. You're doing a great job!
