"You don't need to check on me, your highness." Connor said as soon as he and the prince and princess were alone. "I'm fine."
Nicholas frowned as he observed his minister.
"It's okay to grieve, Connor." Nicholas reminded him. "You and Glynda were like parents to me growing up. I also grieve for her loss, if anything I want to make my brother pay for what he did."
Connor sighed and shook his head.
"I have grieved, your highness." Connor admitted. "When you had your cousin take me away I even punched him. I could have been sent to the dungeons for punching the Clan Leader's grandson and the Prince's cousin, but he understood."
Nicholas was surprised that he hadn't been told this.
"Will you join us when we punish our brother?" Nicholas was shocked by Brie's question, not that he was against it, but the fact that she wanted to be part of Marcus' punishment was surprising.
"You will join me?" Nicholas asked his sister.
