New friend
"How was school today honey" Alex asked Avery, changing her school wear when she was back from school.
" It was great Mommy, I made a new friend, her name is Monica, she's so nice and really cool, she showed me everywhere around the school during our break period, and she told me alot about herself and I did too" Alex said rejoicing
"That's great, I'm happy for your new friend, she's really cool and I'm sure you're gonna adapt so fast to the school, Even with her help"
There was silent, Alex looked at Avery's face seeing that it was pale
"What's wrong honey" Alex said, touching her cheeks to smile
" Someone threatened me, her name is Bella, she said she was going to deal with me if I ever cross her part, and that she was the most popular person In grade 6 and she wanted to keep that since I was new, I shouldn't dare take it" Avery said sadly,
"It's okay honey, I know you wouldn't do anything to cross her part because you are a good girl, and if she does anything to you, report to your teacher, don't fight her back okay?"
"Yes Mommy" Avery said hugging her mom
"I love you honey"
What did I just say, I love her, the person that reminded me of my past every single second, she's just part of my past....
"I love you to Mommy"
"GET LOST, YOU ARE NO GOOD, I HATE YOU!!!"
Alex screamed pushing her away from her chest, she ran out immediately.
"I'll be back soon" Alex told Augustine which she met downstairs, she went out immediately, staggering on the road, crying,
I hate everything around me, Avery, hometown, EVERYTHING!!!
She went to the coffee shop near by, she wanted to calm her self down before going back home.
"A cup of coffee please" Alex told the waiter.
"Can I join you" Alex heard a strange voice, Few minutes after the waiter had gone to get the coffee, she didn't look up but she could see the trouser of the person which was her eye level
"GET LOST" Alex screamed again
He slowly turned going towards the two table after hers, she turned looking at the person she screamed at,
What have I done? I need to apologise
she said almost standing up
"Here ma'am"
"Thanks" she collected the coffee but when she looked back to where he was, he wasn't there anymore
OH GOD
She said running out, trying to catch up with him
"Hey!! Hey!! please stop"
She shouted still running
"I'm sorry about the way I spoke to you, I'm really sorry, I wasn't at my best mood, I was just..."
"It's okay" he cut in "I get, I forgive you, after all I'm at fault, I was supposed to find out if you were in the right mood before approaching"
"You don't have to say that, well it's okay" Alex said keeping him shut.
" There's no problem, I better get going, He said turning to go
"Wait!" Can...can I walk you home" Alex said almost stammering
" There's no need for that, you better get going too"
"Please!!!" Alex begged
" Okay if you insist" I didn't get to know your name" Alex said turning to him after they had made a small walk in silence
"Oh, I'm Cameron Jamison"
"Wow, that's nice of a name, well I'm Alex McKenzie"
Alex said bringing out her hand for a hand shake.
He shook her and they stood staring at each other for some second
"Well, so tell me about your self and why you were at that mood in the café" Cameron said breaking the silence
" Okay I'm Alex McKenzie..."
She said and was silent for some seconds ( I guess she was cooking the lie she would tell him
"Yes, go on" Cameron said trying to break her silence
"I came back from New York yesterday" she continued "because my husband died and I have a daughter, which is my everything, so I brought her to my hometown so she could become familiar with it, she've never been here before, so the reason I was at that mood was because I had I big fight with her, so that's everything, and I also work at a bar, though I got the job today, I'll start tomorrow"
"Wow, you have a daughter, that's great and I'm sorry for the loss of your husband, I hope your daughter can take it... And you" he said with concern I'm his eyes, looking at her, they starred at each other again for long this time
His eyes are so beautiful, so blue, so cute, I wish I could look into it forever
She said looking at his eyes, her eyes went to his lips
His lips, oh God, so Beautiful, round and full, I could kiss them...
Her lips, she's so beautiful, I'm so in love with them....
I think we better start going, she said breaking their thoughts,
"Oh yeah, that's true" Cameron said almost still staring at her
"Good night, thank you so much for today" she said and they exchanged digits and left
Alex bought cotton candy for Avery to apologise, that was her best and she felt really bad for what she did to her everything, she was out of her mind, she ran home to apologise to her.
