By the time Hedry finished eating the various fruits that were found in his vicinity, his Health rose to 95, while his Stamina rose to 110.

When his stamina broke through the 100 line, he felt a vague sensation of some limit breaking in his body. He felt that his movements did not tire him as much as before. He felt as if his body could work endlessly till the end of times.

He also felt his life-force growing stronger, but it wasn't as clear as the changes in his Stamina. 100 units seemed to be some kind of limit that one needed to break to get to the next level.

"Not enough! Not enough! There is still a huge gap before I reach the humans that had been consuming these fruits since their birth!"

"I should hide for a few years and consume enough fruits! Only then would I be able to suppress the humans under my foot!"

Hedry nodded to himself. After some simple experimenting, he found that consuming the same fruit more than once was useless and does not bring any benefits. Only the first consumption of the fruit benefitted his Health and Stamina.

Thus, he turned around in search of other types of fruits, when, suddenly a pair of foreign eyes covered his vision.

Startled, his foot slipped and he fell forward.

Ouch! Ouch!

Two muffled groans were heard in the surroundings. One belonged to Hedry, while the other belonged to a female human.

Recovering from his fall, Hedry's mouth gasped wide in shock. "You...you..." He called our towards the figure beneath him.

"You.. are a human!" He exclaimed at last.

"Of course I am!" The twenty-ish female pushed Hedry off her and got to her feet. She was angry, but she understood that it was her fault that this incident happened. She shouldn't have discreetly gotten so close to him out of habit.

Hedry, who was pushed aside, laid down on the ground. His body was shivering and vague murmurs could be heard from his mouth.

"Human...human.....she is going to kill m..me!"

Seeing him shivering so badly, the young miss felt bad. She thought she was the reason behind Hedry's current mental situation, so she bent down to console him.

Hedry's body shivered at a higher frequency as he watched the human near him. His grand plans to suppress humans were going to end today! He felt like crying, and wanted to question his ancestors why he was so unlucky when they would meet up in the Hall Of Darkness soon!

"Don't be scared! I'm not going to hurt you!" The young miss put her hand on Hedry's shivering shoulder and consoled.

"No need to show sympathy! Kill me! As a noble vamp....I don't fear death....eh? You won't harm me?" Hedry was prepared to be killed, but the young miss' words stunned him.

"Haha! Little boy, why would I harm you!" The young miss laughed, her voice flowed through the surroundings like a melody, but as a vampire, Hedry's definition of melody was pretty high and the young miss's heavenly voice was reduced to the common chirping of humans in his ears.

This was similar to how no matter a buffalo mooed, in the end it was still moo. But at this moment, Hedry ignored how the young miss's voice sounded in his ears and concentrated on the content of her words.

'So, human dare these kind of people?' Hedry nodded to himself. 'How foolish! To not kill an enemy and show compassion, humans are truly foolish! No wonder they are still suppressed by us Noble vampires even when the fruits in their kingdoms make them stronger than us!"

Hedry's body suddenly stopped shivering. He swatted the young miss's hand away from his shoulder and stood up. He was taller than the young miss by a head, so he looked down into her eyes domineeringly.

'So what if you are strong and had been eating fruits since your birth! You are nothing but fools who can't even kill your enemies!'

The young miss's eyes furrowed in anger seeing him acting so high before her. But a part of her could not help but exclaim how beautiful his double layered pupils were. The double layered pupil was silver on the top-half and pitch black on the lower-half. Moreover, vague red color could also be spotted in both pupil layers.

This guy had caught her attention when she noticed him eating these wild fruits carelessly. Most of these wild fruits were poisonous, but the young man seemed to be fine even after eating a bunch of them.

Now, she was even more attracted towards him, mesmerized by his eyes.

But attraction and anger were two different things! No matter how attracted you are to someone, you wouldn't allow them to simply mock you, right?

The young miss stared at his double layered pupils fiercely. She eventually turned around and walked away, no longer wanting to see this guy's face.

After taking a few steps, she titled her head over her shoulders and said, "Put some clothes on if you want to survive the cold, birthday boy!" She then continued forward without sparing him an extra glance.

'She knows?!' Hedry was surprised. How did this young miss know that it was his birthday today?

'No matter how she knew, humans aren't a threat to me!' Scoffing, Hedry hurriedly followed behind her. She could bring him to other humans after all! His dream of dominating humans wasn't far!

The young miss noticed Hedry following her, and she increased her speed. She was faster than most humans, and her speed could be said decent even among human veterans. Even Hedry, a vampire who had better physique than humans needed to sprint at his fastest just to keep up with her.

"Interesting!" Many thoughts formed in the young miss's mind as she noticed him being able to keep up with her. She started to regain a bit of interest on Hedry.

Soon she reached a village whose outer surrounding was covered with a wooden fence. A fat bellied human was sleeping on a chair not far away. He was probably the watchmen who guarded the wooden fence.

As he was sleeping, the young miss did not want to wake him up, so she jumped over the wooden fence quietly and sneaked into the village.

But Hedry did not follow her actions. He had come here to suppress and dominate humans! Seeing an unconscious human, he could not help but strode towards the man.

Once Hedry was before the human, he raised his hand and slapped him lightly.

Thack!

The poor middle aged man, he was slapped without his knowing and fell down from the chair to his side.

"Ouch!" He screamed awake. Feeling the pain in his cheeks, he angrily turned his face up to look at the assailant who dared to slap him, only to be stunned speechless at Hedry's nakedness.

"Put some clothes on!" The middle aged man screamed, almost forgetting his anger.

"Hehe!" Hedry smiled in a way that he thought was evil. "Is that a catchphrase of you humans! That girl from before said the same thing too!"

"Girl?" The middle aged man looked around skeptically. He did not see anyone, much less a beautiful young girl.

'Ah! I get it! This guy, he is a...gone case! He lost his mind!' The middle aged man nodded to himself. After all, who in their right mind would walk around naked unless they had lost their mind.

'This explains his weird behavior!' The middle aged man scanned Hedry once more. The word handsome seemed inferior when compared with Hedry, but god seemed to be impartial. He took away Hedry's mind in exchange!

"Sigh! Poor kid, here, have some fruit!" The middle aged man took a fruit that he had saved for his lunch and gave it to Hedry, feeling pity.

"Oh!" Hedry took the fruit and nodded. 'Humans at least knew their place!' He thought inwardly as he downed the fruit into his mouth.
