Chapter 15
Jared lowered his voice and leaned his head closer to us as he muttered, "It looked like you two were about to start kissing each other's faces off and we wouldn't want that in front of the client, would we?"
Colton chuckled in his velvety deep voice, shaking his head in response while I blushed and glanced at the client to see her drinking her coffee as she looked through her smart phone as they had called the device. We spent the rest of the afternoon talking amongst ourselves here and there.
By the time that we were done, it was late afternoon and Colton took me out towards the city so that he would show me around. I was so amazed at how modern and new everything was. The city was full of tall buildings and flashing lights. We were currently on top of a very high building that overlooked the city. We were watching the sunset as we leaned our elbows on the railing as we ate 'ice cream' as Colton had called it. It was an amazing mix of cream, vanilla and strawberry.
