Chapter 4

Sometimes I just really wonder if my father knows about this or his willing to risk his reputation for his own selfish gains. One time I remember he told my mother that she should let his little precious daughter do whatever she wants so my mother never bothered but that doesn't mean I didn't help her whenever I could. So with the little knowledge I think I'd survive somehow but I'd really hatch a plan to get back home.

Raine and I had been friends since we were kids and had influenced her so much in the things I do. I remember one time her mother came complaining that I was a bad influence to her daughter. she was banned coming to our home but being the don't care she is she sneaked everyday and we went out for hunting. She was at one time sent away to live with her aunt in another village but one day she popped out of nowhere claiming she had missed home and promised to be a good girl. The good girl in her disappeared in a week and I think her mother just got tired of her stubborn daughter and let her be. All in all we have been inseperable.

We set up a fire and roasted the bush rabbit Raine had just hunted down. we wouldn't let it go to waste and especially now that the rest of the village was in celebration and feasting. While other girls were busy dolling up themselves and gossiping this is what made Raine and I happy and occupied." Don't you have plans to ditch the marriage" came Raine's voice while we were enjoying our little meal. " and how do I do that?" " You can ran away" I laughed at her ridiculous idea" I'm serious you know" " you know my closest relatives are five villages away" she sighed " think of something Naserian" Just then I remembered Hiran when he once told me if I ever get in a situation I couldn't handle I should go see him. aaah that's it why is it crossing my mind now but then how do I get to him. Raine watched as the contours of my face changing" what is it now? why are you smiling then frowning" " how do I get to Hiran?" " why would you need Hiran"" he told me to go to him when I can't handle a situation" Silence reigned between us.
