Secret Base

After settling some important matters Odin took Alex to his Treasure Hall and gave him some of the Fenrir's blood. Although he had no idea what Alex was going to do with it, Odin didn't care. Now he only wanted to just get it done with and send Alex away.

" I have already given you what you asked for. Now I hope that you can also follow your end of the deal. "

Odin asked seriously.

"Don't worry about it, didn't I already tell you that I have no interest in the throne? "

Alex simply said something and carefully put away the sample.

Soon Alex took Sif and directly teleported back to Earth.

Currently Galypso and Jane were having a heated discussion with each other in the living room. While Galypso taught Jane about the common knowledge of the world outside Earth, he was also learning the information about Earth from her.

Meanwhile Eric and Darcy didn't seem to have much interest in it . Darcy was working on her project in her room while Eric was chatting with Jack and watching TV.

Meanwhile Lucy and the others were out shopping. After all it's their first time on earth and everything is very novel for them.

At this time Alex and Sig suddenly appeared in the living room startling Jane and Galypso who had already taken out his blaster cannon.

Alex said while rubbing Galypso's head like a teddy bear.

Galypso said while pouting.

In just half a year's time they have already amassed about two hundred million dollars of money. Subsequently Alex also started a security company and an investment company. One thing to mention is that Alex didn't know if it was because SHIELD was afraid of his powers or Asgard standing behind him (as they know from Thor that he is also an Asgardian) but they hadn't disturbed him in any way during this whole time.

Even when he was setting up the companies Alex felt that for some reason everything went a bit too smoothly. Alex guessed that most likely SHIELD had a hand in it. May be they wanted to reduce chances of trouble or may be they wanted to curry favor with him. Anyway Alex didn't care anymore.

One thing to mention is that three months ago when everyone was almost familiar with Earth Alex decided to leave and roam in the cosmos. The last time when he fought with Odin Alex discovered his shortcomings. Although when fighting against normally strong opponents he could toss them around however he liked. But against an opponent at Odin's level , other than his strange metallic wings which could play a role his other abilities weren't powerful enough to be useful in battles of that intensity . Although his God's Domain could almost be called a bug ability but using it was too costly and it puts a great strain on the body. Thus it wasn't currently possible to use it in long term battles.In order to solve this problem, Alex started thinking of counter measures.

Unlike the natives, Alex who knew the future of this world really understood how strong the powerhouses in this world are . Although it was the MCU world and not the comics, but there are still the Celestials, Dormamu of the dark dimension and multiverse nonsense at the end. Naturally his current strength was not enough. Only rule level powers or those affecting time , soul and reality were useful at that level.

To be honest, Alex didn't even put Thanos without the infinity gauntlet and infinity gems in his eyes . He could defeat him at any time he wanted and simply stop him from collecting the infinity stones.

That's why he looked for any useful gene sample everywhere in the galaxy.

Unfortunately Although he didn't find what he was looking for, he did find a very bizzare race called Osmosians.

They look like an evolutionary stage somewhere between apes and humans . They were pretty fiesty in nature and had primitive living habits. But Alex found their racial ability very interesting. They can absorb weapons in their bodies and later turn any part of of their body into that weapon. Moreover they don't need to worry about ammunition at all as they simply use their own body energy as ammo. What's more any damage can be automatically recovered over time and can be fastened by using energy.

(Somewhat like the character Baby 5 in the anime one piece if it helps your imagination. But still it's different.)

Although when he met them their fighting power was somewhat.... Uh weak. As they were located on a remote planet, the only weapons they absorbed were hammers, swords or machine guns at best. But Alex thought of the bigger picture. What if they absorb a Iron Man's armour what if they absorb Captain America's shield, Ant man's suit, high caliber laser guns and many more ....

That's why Alex decided to collect this gene sample.

"I guess Galypso will like it very much "

Next Alex travelled for one more week but still didn't find anything. Thus Alex decided to end his travel and return back to Earth.

After returning back Alex spent some time with his girls.

The next day Alex visited Galypso in his lab.

"So how is the construction of the base going ?"

"Aaah you are back.It took you long enough. Also don't worry about the base. I already found a barren island in the Pacific Ocean near which doesn't fall under the territory of any country and started the construction of the base two months ago."

While explaining this Galypso showed Alex a few pictures of the island and continued.

" This island is mostly covered by forests with a few mountain ranges. And there are no mineral sources or mines here . What's more this island is surrounded by cyclones all year round making it very difficult to approach it. "

" After that with the help of Raven I started the construction. Raven used her powers to teleport to the dwarves' home planet and brought them to the island under your recommendation. They used latest technology and best materials to construct the base.It's almost done by now except a few things. You can visit there anytime you want. Oh and you can contact Raven for coordinates. "

Well , during his recent trip Alex also visited Odin once again and asked him to order the dwarfs in helping in the construction of his base. At first Odin was a little reluctant but ultimately agreed.

After that Galypso turned around and went down in his lab in the basement.

" Hey Galypso. Wait buddy. As a reward for your excellent work I have a reward for you. "

Alex stopped Galypso and said with a smile.
