Chapter 21 — Missile-Type Gauna.

Jason Star's Daily Log | Day 100.

It is now exactly 100 days since Jason's arrival in Sidonia. He didn't dislike this place despite the various dangers lurking everywhere. Maybe meeting the various special people here changed him without even realizing it himself.

Jason's previous peaceful and normal life back on Earth seemed so distance now, like it was just some realistic dream.

The only thing he could probably complain about while living here was the sub-par entertainment field. However, it was impossible to immediately change the entertainment field, maybe only at the distant future.

Jason's Tree House | 5:47 PM.

Jason was sitting in a lotus position that was used when meditating or doing some yoga. His breathings very deep and unique, black red particles visibly rising from his skin.

He was currently shirtless, revealing his perfectly sculpted muscular body with six abdominal packs. On the center of his chest, there was a faintly glowing circle with black red lines extending from it, spreading all over his entire torso.

Jason was cultivating like those cultivators from wuxia stories, using the tiny crystal reactor to assimilate with external particles, and increase its own quantity, while also forming a nerve-like network within his body.

He had learned various kinds of ancient martial arts from Aoki of the Akai Squad.

The Meditation Breathing Method was one of them. The method effects was to maintain a constant focus and tranquil state and clear the mind from unnecessary thoughts. It can also allow the mind to relax, and allow it to recover quicker.

However, Mr. Alien proposed to change the Meditation Breathing Method. Jason agreed since he was curious.

Mr. Alien immediately changed the method to something better. It still had the same effect as before, but it can now efficiently convert the universe's higgs particle into Jason's own unique particles by compressing it within his crystal reactor, causing the quantity and density level to slowly increase. As a result, the progress speed of his evolution increased slightly.

Jason also started using his unique black red particles, but after experimenting and practicing repeatedly, he felt that he was using the particles wastefully and also very inefficient, not allowing him to move it throughout the entirety of his body as freely as he wanted.

He can freely use the black red particles to create full body armour across his five limbs, but it was difficult to strengthen, and use it on the minors parts of the body, and almost impossible for the minutes details.

He was using the particles within his body very crudely without a proper path.

However, Jason had read many fanfics, and thus knew the solution for this problem.

His solution was to create a new organ inside his body that would act as the main framework for the particles. It gonna be like the nervous system and blood channels inside the body. The most efficient and proper traveling network that will allow the Higgs Particle to freely circulate throughout every inch of his body.

It sounded impossible, but as Gauna can change its body, and create new organs using Higgs Particles, it should also be hypothetically possible for Jason too.

And he managed to succeed.

Jason created an organ called energy circuit within his body by compressing and hardening the particles into many networks. It was also created with Jason's unique Higgs Particles to achieve the best possible compatibility without experiencing rejections.

The circuit bore similarities with the Guardian Knight's Strand Type Silver Thread Tissue.

The creation of the circuit permanently decreased a lot of the crystal reactor's energy supply, but it made the particles much easier and flexible to control, allowing for more complex and detailed commands. It even managed to reach into his very cells and genetic materials, while also having the capabilities to travel quickly like how the nerves send automatic signals to the body. As a result, the circuit allowed Jason to have more delicate control over his overwhelming physical body.

The only unfortunate thing was that the circuit was currently incomplete, only managing to cover the entirety of his chest while the rest of his body still needed to rely on the crude method of just pouring the particles into it.

Jason soon stopped trying to create more of the circuit. He instead started training to make objects by conjuring his unique particles.

He was able to conjure real melee-combat weapons, but not projectiles as currently, his Higgs Particles cannot extend too far from his body. Maybe completing the energy circuit will remove this restriction.

Anyways, through constant practice and experiment, he was now able to conjure weapons made out of pure particles.

Jason then proceeded to train on using the various martial arts he learned from Aoki previously. Among these martial arts, there were many techniques related to using weapons and projectiles. The examples of weapon techniques were using sword or spear.

He had already perfectly memorized everything, now only needing to practice and get completely familiar on using it.

The reason Jason wanted to learn martial arts was to learn more about his evolved superhuman body's potential. It was also a good way to learn on how to control his inner strength which was the strength of the muscles.

Jason was training on the Art of CQC when he suddenly heard his smart watch ringing loudly.

He looked at it, realizing it didn't notified him to sortie out, only warning him the Small Mass Union Ship was starting approach Sidonia again.

As its first sign of attack, it sent out a group of Gauna to attack Sidonia.

Jason didn't minded about not having to sortie as his own customized Type 19 Guardian Knight wasn't still complete.

He just decided to leave it to the official pilots who will fight using the first batch of the Guardian Knights.

It was the debut of the Mass Produced Guardian Knight.

He was interested to see how it will end up.

In the end, however, he decided to continue his training.

Space | 10:00 PM.

Sidonia sent three squads to eliminate the three Gauna that were heading towards it.

The three squads were the Samari Squad, Akai Squad, and Kunato Squad.

The three Gauna were also respectively called G-489, G-490 and G-491.

Flying toward the location of the three Gauna while using the palm formation, the three squads couldn't help but be amazed at the Insane speed that the Guardian Knights showed while using palm formation.

All of them have already experienced it by using the Virtual Training Room, but experimenting it in real life was totally something different.

The Guardian Knight's thruster's speed and mobility was overwhelmingly superior compared to the Type 18 and Type 17 Guardian.

The palm formation of Guardian Knights were significantly faster than the previous fraction speed of light.

In just a minute, they immediately arrived at the location of the three Gauna.

As they disassembled from the palm formation, the three Gauna started to shape-shift into three gigantic missiles, causing the command bridge to be surprised after seeing this new type of Gauna.

The three Missile-Type Gauna immediately accelerated once again, heading toward Sidonia with an abnormally fast speed.

It seemed that Sidonia was their only target, as if the Mass Union Ship knew about Human Strategies.

"Fast!"

The Missile-Type Gauna was definitely fast, the previous Type 18 Guardian wouldn't even able to catch up to it even when using the palm formation.

However, the Guardian Knight was built different.

"All Squads, immediately destroy the three Missile-Type Gauna! It should be pretty easy since changing into missiles must have used a lot of particles," Seii ordered toward all of them.

The Guardian Knights accelerated even more faster, a huge burst of blue particles exploded out from the main and secondary thrusters.

Without even needing to form the palm formation, they were able to quickly catch up to the three Missile-Type Gauna.

The three Missile-Type Gauna accelerated once again, but it wasn't clearly enough.

A shame, but they have chosen to attack at the wrong time when the Guardian Knights were already mass produced.

"Kunato Squad. Akai Squad. Please deal with G-490 and G-491. We will eliminate G-489," Samari said.

Kunato Squad and Akai Squad immediately agreed. They quickly went to deal with the Gauna that Samari assigned to them.

The Samari Squad used their sub-arms grappling hooks to latch on the Gauna's body, the Guardian Knight's immense strength pulling them toward it, soon allowing them to land on the Gauna's body.

"Fire all of our Higgs Particle Cannon toward the center of the Gauna where the True Body most likely is located."

"Roger!"

The head of their Guardian Knights started to glow very brightlty, accumalating an intense amount of particles that soon released.

The placenta armour wasn't able to resist, quickly melting and getting destroyed.

G-489 soon bursted into pinkish bubbles, the True Body being destroyed by Antinium which was infused to the particles.

"Samari Squad over to command room, we have successfully eliminated G-489."

After them, the Akai Squad also managed to eliminate G-490 by destroying its placenta armour using the shoulder mounted cannon from faraway, allowing Momose to destroy the True Body by using the Energy Machine Gun.

The Kunato Squad also managed to destroy G-491 very easily by using a similar method to the Samari Squad with Nagate landing the final hit to destroy the True Body.

"I can't believe that we managed to quickly eliminate these Gauna so easily..." Samari muttered as if it was unbelievable.

"Yeah, this just show how amazing the Guardian Knight is... We must thank Toha Heavy Industry for creating something good like this...." Akai responded while smiling.

"I have the same thoughts..." Kunato was astonished. He didn't disliked the Guardian Knight despite being the heir of Kunato Development. It seemed too advance for the current Sidonia create.

He then remembered Jason.

Right.... if it was him, it might be indeed possible.

"Good job," Kobayashi said toward them, feeling her shoulders growing light after seeing them eliminating the three Gauna so easily.

Sidonia's fighting force indeed significantly rose higher, causing them to have more higher chances to eliminate the Small Mass Union.

It would be a great achievement as it would be something first in the entire history of Sidonia.

As expected, keeping Jason was the best choice.

She was relieved to disobey those cowards from the Immortal Council.

We finally reach Chapter 20! Hehe, before the reboot, I didn't made it this far because I didn't like how things went too much. Anyways, if you find it confusing, I will answer Tomorrow. Currently, I feel lazy because I want to sleep now.
