The Love Triangle
"y/n this is going to sound insane but I think I love Luna" Jimin said when you guys were in a call like usual, your heart ached, even though you saw this coming it still hurt you "Wow are you telling me that you, The most dense person when it comes to this, is in love?" You tease him to hide your true emotions "I'm not dense I just don't pay attention to all this stuff, but it's different with Luna...like I feel excited when she sends a message and I get all tongue tied and I can't think straight and it's like I zone out-" "wow wow ok lover boy, do you plan to confess?" You interrupt his rant "I don't know...maybe if we meet for real? She won't even give me her number to call her" from his voice you had a feeling he was pouting.
"don't pout like a kid, I'll give you her number if you promise to not annoy me with this lovey dovey talks" you said hoping he will not talk about Luna with you, earlier Luna had called you freaking over Jimin and saying how she wanted to give him her number but she didn't want to seem too eager so you were sure she wouldn't mind you giving him her number.
"Wait seriously?! You'll do that for me? You are the best sis ever y/n" Jimin said making you groan mentally "yeah yeah whatever just don't bug me about your love life, it's cringy hearing you talk like this" you brush it off and both of you end the call. The moment the call ends you scream into your pillow, "It's ok y/n you have to get over him and be happy for your two best friends because they love each other...those two deserve to be happy so even if I have to act like a matchmaker so be it." You say to yourself though your heart yearned for the love Jimin gave to Luna.
You were about to take a small nap when your phone was spammed, unlocking it you see Luna going crazy in the group because apparently Jimin had called her and she was going at you for giving him her number but in our personal DM she was thanking you.."seriously this girl, she better be grateful. I'm sacrificing my crush here for her and she does this drama...aish" you turn off the phone and slam your face into your pillow "I hate my stupid life" you grumble out.

I'm so glad y/n is my friend, she is literally the best. I can't believe I finally got Luna's number, some people in the group started pairing us and even betting when we'll get together but Luna denied everything saying we were just good friends, damn did her saying that hurt.
I wanted to confess so badly but knowing Luna she'll mostly reject because she is all about logic and will reason about having a long distance relationship.
Few days have passed since the time y/n gave me Luna's number, she has been acting strange lately like shipping me an Luna and somehow pushing us to each other, not that I'm complaining. Whatever she was doing was working I guess because Luna was getting more comfortable with me and we even video called like an actual video call! I almost choked on my spit when I saw Luna's face appear on the screen, her skin was flawless, her perfect cherry lips, her cute button nose and her brown locks that framed her face perfectly, and oh god those eyes...
I was so caught up day dreaming that I didn't notice the two notifications I got, one was from y/n and the other from Luna, both asking if I was up for a call. y/n will understand if I talk to Luna first right? She is the one trying to get us closer so she will understand. I type y/n a message and call Luna.

Even though he was on a call with Luna you still lingered in his mind...
"It's getting kind of late..I'll call you later Luna'' Jimin said ending the call and calling you, you didn't pick up the first time, hoping you aren't asleep he calls again and you pick up "Hello?" You say groggily as if you were kind of asleep, you almost fall off your bed when you hear him shout from the other side "What the hell Jimin?! I could have gone deaf because of your loud ass!" You hear him laugh "Now you are awake enough to talk" he continued laughing, you really couldn't be angry at him, you really tried but always gave in "You are lucky I can't kill you, you short duckling" And you both go back to your usual banter.
Feeling giddy Luna smiles at the screenshot of Jimin she took during the call, She imagined what it would be like when they meet and hoped he would ask her out. She was not sure but she kind of had a feeling he liked her too which gave her confidence to play a little hard to get. She changes her clothes and goes out of her home planning to get some ice-cream and enjoy the late evening in the park near her home. After getting her ice-cream she walked to the counter to pay.
"thank you for the ice cream!" She smiled at the cashier and waits at the signal to cross the road when her eyes widen seeing a kid running across the road with a car zooming towards the little girl, without any thought Luna ran to push the child out of the way but she was a little too slow to save herself as the car came in contact with her.
