Next Day

Now I'm sitting here on Ms. Azarcon office, they rented out an entire floor in one of the busiest streets here in Manila. There were lot of files around, phone calls, and busy/ hardworking people.

"Kayleen, I want you to meet Boss." Ms. Azarcon came back with a middle age man.

"I heard a lot about you Ms. Bartolome, I'm Andrew Azala, Welcome to A & Z Securities, Corporation." he offered a handshake and I also held out my hand.

"Is that so? Thank you for having me here Sir Azala."

He looks like an honest man, I can't believe I'm having a professional handshake. Am I overreacting?

"I admire your interest in investment. Keep it up. Youngsters should be more like you, be aware of the finance Market. Establish a business minded persona as young as possible. Dont you think so? "

"Cause I learned my lesson real hard sir, I don't want to lose out any opportunities from now on. But I do believe that it also depends on people, where there interest lie."

I both agree and disagree with him. People are different, we can't force them because this is what we believe they should be doing.

I'm into business and some are into the food, music, entertainment, sports etc. industry.

And at the same time I also want everyone to be aware of investment as early as possible. I dont them to regret it later.

"Insightful, I'm now really looking forward for your endeavors Ms. Bartolome. Did Johan already tell you what you needed to do?"

"Yes sir, she already did."

"Then I won't interrupt you too." he bid a goodbye and left.

"So Kayleen, are you really sure about this?" Ms. Azarcon said as if this is a bid deal.

I laugh it off.

The process was simple. I skipped through it and went straight to write my signature.

"And Done. I'm happy to be of service to you from now on Kayleen." It was a 2 year contract.

"I'm also looking forward Ms. Azarcon." I excitedly exclaim.

"And also one thing, please call me Johan, it would mean a lot than Ms. Azarcon."

"Well, it's kinda informal. I don't think so."

"Hahaha, I don't mind that. Please speak to me more comfortably."

"Then Johan, I'll be under your care from now." and we also did a handshake.

"Shall eat out as a small celebration to our partnership?" She asked.

Shes not just a broker or financial advisor to me but a partner, that sounds amazing to hear.

"Yes yes." It's also time for lunch.

"Then what do you want to eat?"

Without hesitation, I replied "Buffet."

"Great, I know a place. Shall we head out?."

I nodded and we went to that place.

Some time later

"I still find it unbelievable that I'm making a deal with a minor hahah. I can already imagine your bright future Kayleen."

"Well we need to start early right? The early bird catches the worm." I responded while eating a full plater of different flavors of chicken.

"You bet! And besides that, you will be coming here from time to time. I think it will be hard convincing your parents about that Kayleen."

That is also some of my worries "I know but I did some thinking. I just need time to talk things out with them."

"I see, if you need anything please feel free to tell me." without a hesitate she suggested that.

"Yes, thank you very much and sorry for the trouble I'm gonna make."

"Hahahhah don't worry about that."

"Aside from that, I should get used to this right?. How does purchasing a condo sounds for you Johan?."

"Condo? Go big, strike big. Aren't you? Well, not bad." Johan is easy to be friend with. I like her, she doesn't underestimate me.

"I can sense that there are lot of things you wanted to do. Surprise me Kayleen." she added

Was that a challenge? Game on.

"Well you see, maybe learn a new language" I shyly said.

"Wowww, That's amazing." she did a clap motion.

"That's not all there is actually." I added. I might as well get straight to the point.

"It's not only just me but I'm also suggesting we should learn the Korean Hangul."

She almost spit out what she ate.

"What?"

"I think it will be fun and useful." I have this crazy but money making venture that I want to be part of. Its a shameless idea that will take place next year if we manage to be somewhat fluent in Hangul.

She had this unbelievable look on her face before laughing loudly. I guess thats how she is.

"O my ghosh, that is insane but why not?"

I feel like Johan just go with the flow with whatever I suggest now.

But it worked according to plan, right?
