Ambitious Life

Hello again Manila. I'm back here alone to sign a contract and also do other things.

Thankfully we have managed to convince my overprotective family to go on this trip.

Flashback

"Ma, I want you to meet someone." I asked all of the sudden when were taking a break from shopping.

"Ohhh okay" she looked surprised, I know what she's thinking right now like introducing a boyfriend.

I gestured for Ms. Azarcon to come who was waiting on the door.

"Ma, this is Ms. Johanna Azarcon from A & Z Securities, Incorporation."

"Nice to meet you Mrs. Bartolomeo." they did a handshake.

"Actually Ma, I applied for this program for students who are aspiring to take business related course, its like a seminar where you got to meet professionals, expand your knowledge and hone skills for a week." I lied, I already rehearse this countless times because I know they wouldn't let me go if I don't have a convincing reason but I couldn't come up better than this.

" And Ms. Azarcon here is in charge of that training program. " I literally beg Ms. Azarcon to help me with this plan, cause I don't want my family to know yet.

"What training program? All of a sudden?."

"Yeah, and also it's in Manila." I hesitated before saying thing.

"What! Manila?!. Its a no Kalia."

"Mrs. Bartolome I assure you this will  help Kalia in preparation for her college life. And all expense are to be held by the company." Ms. Azarcon tried to calm my furious mother.

"But this sounds sketchy and isn't college talk too early for her? . Besides, I can't let my daughter go in Manila. No offence Ms. Johanna but I can't entrust my daughter to you just for this training program. Kalia can't you decline that?." yeah, I already predicted this outcome.

"Ma, I can't do that you see this is a great opportunity. I'm one of the lucky gals who were chosen. YOLO Ma, I can't passed this up."

"Mrs. Bartolomeo you don't have anything to worry about. The students safety is our top most priority. We can accommodate all of their needs during their 1 week stay." Ms. Azarcon added.

"1 week! That's a no, sorry but I can't let this happen." now, she's fuming in disbelief.

"Ma one week will passed by and I'll come back safe and sound with all of my bones attached." This is the life of having a protective parents, though it's not a bad thing.

"Mrs. Bartolomeo, this would greatly benefit Kalia at the end of the week.."

I grabbed my luggage and searched for Ms. Azarcon who was waiting outside. I got lost at some point, Cause I'm not familiar at NAIA.

"Kayleen, I hope the ride was pleasant?"

A deja vu.

"It was."

"Then shall we proceed to the hotel?" she asked while helping me carry my things.

"Let's go." I excitedly said, looking forward to stay in a 5 star hotel.

FAST FORWARD

"Good afternoon, Welcome to Fordelizo Hotel. How may I help you?"

"Good afternoon, The reservation for Ms. Kayleen Bartolomeo, please" Ms. Azarcon said at the receptionist. 

"On it.... The room assignment is Room 305 Triple S Deluxe is that correct Maam?."

"Yes it is."

"I shall assign someone to escort you, but for the moment can you please wait on the waiting area."

"Thank you."

"Thank you for choosing Fordelizo Hotel, have a pleasant day."

The place was buzzing with people. So sparkling and shiny. I suddenly got concious with myself, I am afraid to dirty this place.

After a few minutes we were escorted on the 15th floor, Imagine 5th floor! In one of the finest also an expensive room.

"Kayleen, as planned tomorrow you will be visiting our office. Have a rest for now then I'll be back for dinner."

"Got it, but I can manage on my own for dinner Ms. Azarcon. You don't have to come back later."

"It's okay Kayleen, don't worry about that."

"It's too much hassle for you and besides its just getting dinner."

"Really? I don't buy that, I don't trust teenage hormones hahaha."

Teenage hormones? I know that too well.

"But you trust me, I'm a responsible teenager Ms. Azarcon. I promise I won't cause trouble or any of that sort." I'll stay here comfortably.

"Okay, please keep that promise. I'll see you tomorrow."

"See yah Tom. Ms. Azarcon."

After she left, I went to change into my night wear.

The flight drained me so I took a nap in the king sized super fluffy bed.

This is so nice.

I woke up after 4 hours and the sky is already dark. I called the receptionist for dinner (a room service).

After that, I opened the curtain and the City night welcomed me.

I always want this view, like sipping a wine and with jazz music, one that resemble people who live in a penthouse or Condominium. A rich but fulfiling life

But for me on the other hand, I call this my ambitious life. I'm getting there, sooner than I thought, if things go well right now.
