" Ares how are you faring with emergency protocol 1?" Silver asked as he performed a set of fluid movements with his body.

He suddenly kicked out twice in quick succession, before he turned around and performed two 360 degree back kicks, a spin kick and a side kick.

Each kick he blasted out caused a swirl of air to blast out in his room.

" Well, Sir, I've hacked all the databases in the system and I've found relevant information. " The AI spoke.

" How relevant?" Silver said as he punched and then kicked out. " Relevant enough for you to proceed with Contingency 3 Sir." The AI spoke.

" Good job Ares. Has the kid received the message?" Silver smiled as he stopped his practice and put took a clean towel.

" Yes he has Sir. He's currently in a secure location, awaiting further instruction." The AI said, causing Silver to laugh.

" But Sir, there's a matter I need to speak of, a rather grave one at that." The AI spoke, causing Silver to frown underneath his blindfold.

" What is it Ares?" He asked as he sat down calmly.

" The secondary database has detected multiple hacked attempts Sir." The AI spoke which caused Silver to sigh.

" Were you able to track the IP address? " Silver asked. " Affirmative Sir. It seems to be a unique IP address belonging to this university ." The AI spoke.

" Hahahaha!!!" Silver laughed theatrically, like a villain watching all his plans come to fruition.

" The enemy has taken the bait. And quite soon at that. It seems they did see through my act. Just as I planned." Silver laughed as he spoke. These people wanted to take him and make turn him into a puppet they could use.

" Alright Ares, you know what to do next. " Silver stood up and rushed to the bathroom for a quick shower. He had an appointment with his teacher.

.......

Within a large conference hall akin to a courtroom, multiple figures in dark suits sat in a circular pattern, their faces blurred by the darkness and the shadows, however the menacing and suffocating aura in the room was enough to make anyone fearful with such an audience.

On what looked like a witness stand, a long haired man dressed in pure white robes stood with an indifferent expression on his face, completely oblivious to the menacing aura in the room.

" Gerald. We heard you took the little boy under your wing." A deep voice sounded from within the audience, but it was unclear who spoke.

" Yes I did. He's my student now." Gerald smiled and spoke.

" What are you planning Gerald?" Another voice spoke, this time a feminine one.

" Nothing. The kid needed some help and I'm helping him out. " Gerald smiled once more.

" You know who he is Gerald. He's a wildcard. An untamed beast that needs to be tamed. " The feminine voice spoke once more.

" He's not a beast. He's a human just like all you pompous fools sitting over there. And he's my student." Gerald spoke with a slight frown.

" Watch What you say you arrogant fool. We're your superiors and you do what we say or face the consequences. You should know we mean what we say Gerald. After all, you've experienced first hand what we can do." Another voice spoke and this time it was an elderly one.

" Boom!!!!" A furious aura swept out of Gerald's body, shaking the embers of space and time.

" My student isn't someone the likes of you can touch. If anyone of you dare to harm even a single hair on his head, I'll kill each and every one of you, something I should've done a long time ago." Gerald spoke, as temporal energy seemed to gather around him, as if worshipping him.

" Are you threatening us Gerald?" Another voice spoke.

" Threatening? No. I'm just telling you politely. Next time, I won't be so polite." Gerald smiled crazily.

With a thought he teleported away leaving everyone in the room with a frown.

" We should've killed that bastard when we had the chance back then. Now he's too strong to handle ." The feminine voice spoke out once more in frustration.

" I say we get rid of both him and his so called student like we tried to do in the past." Voice one spoke again, his aura bubbling with intense murderous intent.

.....

" Sigh. Did I keep you waiting?" Gerald sighed as he teleported directly to his courtyard only to see Silver sitting cross legged in cultivation. Seeing him, he smiled before speaking.

" It hasn't been too long." Silver smiled and spoke.

" Sigh. Things have gotten little bit troublesome, and if I'm not wrong, those old bastards are going to try to execute you and I." Gerald spoke as he looked at Silver.

" You mean the conversation you had with the higher ups?" Silver spoke with an enigmatic smile.

" How did you know?" Gerald asked with a frown. " A little birdie told me teacher." Silver smiled and didn't elaborate further, after all everyone had his own secrets.

He had allowed Ares to directly access every single camera here in the school, and he had since known that the higher ups would meet to discuss and decided his fate, hence he decided to eavesdrop a little.

" Sigh. Maybe I should just kill all the higher ups?" Gerald spoke with a frown and incomparable bloodlust. Back in the past, he had been blinded by gratitude and had personally executed his own master in order to please those old bastards.

" Killing then won't solve the issue master. To power hungry people like them, death is the least of their fears. What they actually fear is losing everything they had worked for. What would be more pleasing than having them watch every single thing they've worked for so hard crumble to the ground." Silver spoke with a sadistic smile.

" Sigh." Gerald sighed once more as he poured himself a cup of tea to calm himself and sat down.

" There's something I wanted to ask you master." Silver spoke to which Gerald nodded.

" I learnt there were thirteen realms of cultivation, but when I started reviewing the Limitless technique you gave me, it says the basic requirement was reaching the Transcendent realm." Silver spoke as he poured himself tea and sat in front of Gerald.

" Who told you there were only 13 realms of arcane cultivation? The first six realms are called the Foundational realm where the arcanist creates a foundation for cultivation, after reaching the sixth realm, you become an Elite Cultivator. Then after crossing the 13th realm, you become a transcendent life form where you literally evolve down the genetic level. The Transcendent realm is divided into 3 realms.

After that, there's the Emperor realm and the Immortal realm." Gerald spoke calmly, as he occasionally took sips from his tea.

" So you aren't really at the sixth level like you told us?" Silver sighed and spoke after a spark of realization.

" Im way past the elite Level, although I began formulating the theory behind the Limitless technique at that level." Gerald said with a small smile, causing Silver to sigh.

" Does being a Transcendent life form affect your life expectancy?" Silver asked after deep thought.

" Good question my dear student. Becoming a transcendent life form like I said brings about an evolution down to the genetic level, which means that the cultivator experiences some kind of apotheosis and no longer remains a normal human. The average life expectancy of a transcendent life form is about 500 years." Gerald smiled and spoke.

" 500 years? That's a really long time." He smiled and nodded.

" So what grades are the Eternal Monkey King Physique and the Limitless?" Silver asked another question.

" The Eternal Monkey King Physique, I believe can allow you to reach the limits of the immortal realm, and achieve second apotheosis. In other words, it's a God grade technique I believe was created by the Eternal Monkey God himself, while the Limitless has even more potential." Gerald spoke with a proud smile.

" So you believe in Gods teacher?" Silver asked as the word God piqued his interest.

" Of course. Gods existed, exist and will exist even after the universe comes to an end." Gerald said with a slight smile.

" Do you know about the God they call Onir?" Silver asked after a bit of hesitation.

" Why do you want to know about him?" Gerald asked. Silver failed to notice the subtle change in his expression and body language after that name was mentioned.

He also failed to notice the slight purplish light that flashed through Gerald's eyes after he asked the question.

Seeing that Silver didn't answer, Gerald spoke. " Onir was the God of Infinity, one of the first Primordial Gods since the dawn of time. He was known as one of the strongest Gods within the entire God council. In fact, he was extremely good friends with the Eternal Monkey God." Gerald sighed and spoke, a distant look flashing across his pupils in an instant.

" Okay, that's enough questions for now. You'll find the answers to all your questions when you become stronger my boy." Gerald spoke as he ruffled Silver's hair and patted his shoulder with a smile.

Silver frowned. He hated it when people ruffled his hair, but when Gerald did it, if felt strangely comforting and soothing, a feeling he didn't understand at all.

" I got you something. " Gerald smiled and brought out a decorated box.

" What is it?" Silver smiled and took it as he unwrapped it. Slowly he took out an intrinsically made helmet that looked exotic and futuristic.

" It's a VR helmet that would allow you to enter the metaverse. It's my first real gift to you. You can go there and fight in dungeons and competitions to hone your battle techniques." Gerald said with a smile.

" Thank you very much Teacher. I love it." Silver stood up and bowed slightly before excusing himself.
