Unmasked Hearts: Taming The Vile Billionaire

In a world where everyone seeks salvation and redemption, lives a man who loathes those concepts to his core. Some know him as Xavier Kane, the corporate raider who collects companies like pebbles; some know him as the messenger of death who lords over a reputable and highly structured hitman company; some know him as Dr. Andrea, the best cosmetology surgeon in Italy. To Alessia, he was just the puppy-faced Giovanni she fell in love with at first sight, and Xavier would do anything to keep it that way. Xavier knows damn well he shouldn't ask for more, he didn't deserve it, but her stubborn pout and her innocent innuendo cause friction that soon turns to sizzling heat. How long can Xavier play the cute boy next door when inside him lives the greatest evil, the dirtiest secrets, and the kinkiest acts? Alessia, a girl who had to become a mother to her two siblings at the age of eleven after witnessing her mother's horrible death, just got out of a toxic relationship, jobless and broken. Weeks later, she gets a 'miraculously' job with Xavier Kane, the vile billionaire she came to despise for his dubious acts. When she finds out her gentleman was the same man she hated the most, she is very pissed. WARNING: BOOK CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT.

Xavier Meets Their Father

As they fought amongst each other, with a silent swoosh, one of his father's men fell from a sniper's shot, then another, and another, until all five of them were struck down.

Thomas, who was in the car, gawked at the man beside him as he leaned on the car door, terrified that he might be the next target. He knew that was definitely not Giovanni.

"Giovanni?" he called out.

The man fumbled through the car.

"Where are my spare gloves?" he said as he glared at Thomas, his gaze cold and menacing.

"It's good to have you back, Xavier."

Xavier just held onto his head as he got out of the car. His vision was blurry, but he had to be sure of Alessia's safety.

As he neared, he saw Alessia struggling to stand straight, looking dazed and confused.

"Are you okay, Alessia?"

"Yes... I don't know," she breathed.

Xavier frowned at her reaction to the attack. Had she been in a similar situation before that this reminded her of?
