Rosalie's heart pounded as she stood at the edge of the dimly lit room, taking in the scene before her. Clementina lay unconscious on the cot, her face pale, her breathing labored. They had just come back from attacking a low profile political godfather. The injury had been worse than they initially thought, and now, the weight of the team's survival was resting squarely on Rosalie's shoulders. She glanced around at the faces staring back at her,some anxious, some determined, but all waiting for her to speak.
She had no choice. With Clementina out of commission, it was up to her to lead them now.
"Alright," Rosalie began, her voice steady despite the tightness in her chest. "We need to regroup and plan our next move. Francesco's forces are spreading fast, and we can't afford to be sitting ducks."
