John had a few more kilometres to go before he could approach the base of RED. He decided to make a run for it while holding Lucy in his arms. He could have asked her to teleport them within the span of visible places, but it would place quite a burden on Lucy and tire her out.

Instead John would quickly reach there via running. John ran quickly, through the trees trying to reach the base as quickly and quietly as possible.

He was also careful of any traps or security cameras on his way towards the base. However with his activated Observation Haki, he actually found no such things and John was quite glad about it.

As John continued running, he could see a clearing up ahead where the base was located. He noticed that the base was heavily guarded, with armed personnel stationed at various points around the perimeter. However, it seemed that they hadn't caught wind of his approach yet.

As he got closer, John's Observation Haki picked up on some faint movement in the trees above him. He quickly shifted his course, narrowly avoiding a hidden trap set up to catch intruders. It seemed that his caution was paying off.

Finally, he reached the edge of the clearing and carefully surveyed the area. He could see the entrance to the base, a large metal gate guarded by several armed soldiers. He knew that his chances of just walking in through the front door were slim to none.

Taking a moment to catch his breath, John carefully set Lucy down behind a tree, making sure she was well-hidden. There was no need for Lucy to reveal herself for now.

Moroeover John had aslo tried to track the three spies, but they were nowhere to be found. They seemed to have stopped following John after he left his car in the secluded location.

John decided to shake the unnecessary thoughts and focused on the group of armed people ahead. The best way to take down the base, according to him was to fight these guys head on.

And with John's Conquer Haki, most of the people here would be easy to take care of unless there were people with strong wills or mutants present among the ranks of this base. Moroeover John could level the entire base with just his Quake Quake Fruit.

As he planned his approach, John noticed that the soldiers guarding the entrance seemed alert and ready. He couldn't afford to underestimate them, especially if there were more powerful mutants among them.

John crouched low and began to focus his Conquer Haki, allowing his willpower to radiate and intimidate those around him. He stood up slowly, exposing himself to the guards, making sure they were aware of his presence.

As the soldiers caught sight of John, a wave of fear washed over them. Some dropped their weapons, frozen in place by John's overwhelming aura. The few that remained composed enough to resist the effects of Conquer Haki looked visibly shaken.

Utilizing the chaos and fear he created, John charged forward with incredible speed, closing the gap between him and the guards in an instant. With a swift strike, he incapacitated the first guard, rendering him unconscious.

The remaining guards attempted to defend themselves, but their movements were sluggish and hesitant. John easily dodged their attacks, countering with powerful punches and kicks. His Conquer Haki continued to amplify his strength, allowing him to defeat each guard with ease.

The reason all the guards were not knocked out after the first wave of the Conquerors Haki was because John had not released the entirety of it.

In the One Piece anime John had seen the use of Conquerors Haki quite a few times. And most of the times the user would mobilize the entirety of the pressure from his Conquerors Haki to take down their enemies.

Aslo the anime did not show any ways to practice or train the Conquerors Haki. So John had to find about it by himself using a few hypothesis.

It was quite hard to practice the Conquerors Haki on his own without any suitable target to test his control over it. So John had to use these guards as his test subjects for the practice of Conquerors Haki. Frankly, John was acting a bit carelessly at this moment. But he was confident enough that there would be no problem in taking down these guys along with their base.

He was confident and he could afford to act that way.

As the last guard fell to the ground, John surveyed the area once more. The entrance to the base was now clear, but he knew there would be more enemies awaiting him inside and they would be quite alert than the current batch of the guards, but John didn't care.

With his Quake Quake Fruit, he could potentially bring the entire base crumbling down, but he needed to be cautious and assess the situation before resorting to such drastic measures.

As they approached the gate, John prepared himself for what lay ahead. He knew that the real challenge was just beginning, and he couldn't afford to make any mistakes if he wanted to take down the base of RED and complete the system task.

With just a punch infused with Haki he broke the metal doors in front of him, like it was made of cheese.

One by one, John effortlessly dispatched the soldiers in his path. His powerful punches and shockwaves shook the entire base, sending fear and panic through the remaining soldiers. They realized they were completely outmatched, but that didn't stop them from fighting back.
