With determination in his hands, he waited until it was the dead of the night when the hospital ward was as quiet as a grave. Any movement, any creaks or footsteps would be echoed along the silent hallway.
Carefully, he slid the door opened and found his way out of the maze of the unfamiliar building. Getting out is easy as long as the sign was used correctly, and the exit stairs were not locked. It would be illogical to have it padlocked, considering it would hinder safety regulations.
As long as his walk was not suspicious, as long as he walked casually, the securities overlooking the CCTV should not be alerted by his movement within the building.
What is hard would be escaping the hospital in a patient's uniform. How far could he be outdoor from the building when the sun is not out without arousing suspicion?
