Restless

Lucas was too slow to come out of shocked because Sara had seen his facial expressions. Anything that will come out of his mouth henceforth will definitely be a lie except this time even Sara will know he will be lying. He needs to come clean and tell her truth.

He swallowed his saliva that began to accumulate in his mouth. He opened his mouth but closed it back. Sara was staring at him full of amusement. It was as though she was challenging him to lie and see if she bought it.

"How did you know?" he finally asked.

"Know what? That it is a gradual process for the colours of the sky to change at sun set?"

Lucas is tired of Sara playing dumb. Since he had asked and the ball has rolled, Lucas figured it would be best to get it out and see if they could solve it together – to single out the reason why she disappeared. There was no point of him solving a puzzle that is full of holes.

By letting Sara in the game, she would be able to fill in the blanks for him.
