Finally home

Jolted awake by the gentle shake, Sarah's eyes flung open. It felt as though she had only closed her eyes a moment ago and was about to seep into the dreamland when the shake disrupted her sleep. Her glossy hazel eyes took a quick glance on the wall clock to see only an hour and ten had passed by and immediately her eyebrows wrinkled into a frown.

'There's still a good forty minutes before Lucas' promised time.' She whined, annoyed being woken up to when her sleep could have made her time go faster.

Feeling groggy, she unintentionally glared at the innocent child in front of her before returning back to the soft fluffy bed and wrapped her arms around the closest pillow she could hug.

Another gentle shake and a soft tender voice calling her name thrice disturbed her yet another rest.

"What?"
