Elopement

Sara entered Harith's white SUV, feeling distracted by her conversation with Lucas. She greeted him nonetheless, surprised with the sudden dinner invitation on a weekday.

"What's the occasion?" she asked as she fastened her seat belts.

"Nothing much, just feel like hanging out with someone," was all he said.

She rolled her eyes and tutted. "Don't you have any FRIENDS?"

"Sure. But what's the fun when I can't bully you if I hang out with my REAL friends?"

"Oh, poor little me! What will I do if the great one is not there to bully me?" Sara played along with his sarcastic remarks as she raised her shoulders and arms, exaggerating her concerned movement.

Her response was enough to trigger him a hearty laugh as he slapped her shoulder lightly.

"Look who's getting wittier by the day, if it isn't our little Sara," he teased as he cast a glance at her.
