Desperation

Sara gave him a blank stare. His sentence does not add up. She had already explained of being a KEI member and he still asked why she was there.

'Maybe I was not being crystal clear enough?'

She clarified herself again and tried to read his facial expression at the same time. The more she stared at his face, the more she felt something is amiss.

Like a train charging through disrupting her train of thoughts, a sudden realisation came popping in. She realised this was the perfect opportunity to ask ALL the questions she had prepared for the man. Instantaneously, with a swift action she quickly grabbed hold of his hand which startled him.

"Did we or did we not meet each other that morning on the pathway next to the bus stop?" Her question came crashing in, all said within a single breath. She was afraid he would take off or disappear again without a trace.
