A FEW DAYS EARLIER
"Please please please, can you please reconsider it, Ayten?" begged the black-haired lady as her hair swung left and right from her swaying body and her hands clasped together.
"That's not for me to decide. I'm just a mere housewife in this place," she tutted, letting the expectant mother trailing behind her.
"But you're Nimue's wife!!"
"And why would Nimue agree to this? What could the Commander gain from all this??"
"Pretty pretty please!! You're not going to let me raise the baby alone, are you?"
"We're here to raise the child together, Sara."
"But it's not the saaame..." She whined like a child, wanting things to go her way.
"Just be grateful we are willing to take you in, will you?"
Being pregnant was one of the things that changed her the most. She expressed her emotions more often than she used to as of late.
She let her frustrations be transparent.
