Section 83: Kallen's Secrets

Two years ago before the Drones Attack

The boy knew that they're going to die without anyone's help. His selfish desire to keep Candice for herself pushed him to run away from the orphanage that took care of them these years. As they ran away, a brand new orphanage offered them shelter in exchange for following a certain program. It's a couple with the attire of a scientist.

Candice, still young and new to the outside world, hides behind the boy's back. Kallen pushed her behind him, protecting her from the strangers. They were cornered in a small alley, with dirt and a skunky smell permeating the air.

"Hello there, my name is Tim Greene and behind me is my wife Eleanor" the albino-haired man spoke with confidence. 

Next to the man, seems to be a shy-looking woman with circle glasses and braided raven hair. Kallen looked at the pair suspiciously with his straightforward amber eyes.
