Section 181: The Breath of the Wind

-Aria POV-

Joel was unconscious, he was on the floor and not moving from his spot. My face turns pale as the man lies next to me used the serum that was injected into both me and Ender. The percentage of success is pretty low. Drenched in sweat, I try to reach the unconscious Joel with my other free hand.

However, remembering the fact that I can't control my power discourage me from even trying to approach him. If I hurt him and he dies, then I have no place to call home. With the world ending, I don't even consider my family in my top list to be saved, to begin with. I call his name but my voice grows hoarse as the glasses man doesn't answer.

Ender clasps my hand and his hand together, suddenly the chaotic power I released is plummeted down by his touch. The man offered me his hand, telling me to go with him, still persistent with his offer. He gives a slight smirk that makes my spine shivered, quivers under his demanding voice.
