Section 139: The Devil Whisper

-Ender POV-

The man I apprehended doesn't seem to be sane, no matter how much I tormented him. He only laughed like a psycho that lost himself, he lost his face. If I remember correctly, I left this man dead as he was chased by the drones alone. Adrian was beyond saving, so I also left him alone in the middle of the streets.

His badgered and bloody face made it more painful for me to remember, the man before me laughed in a broken manner. His attacks on our mansion, in the beginning, are rather stranger and different than his previous tactics. It was as if the man was driven by his hunger for revenge when he attacked us.

He didn't proceed with caution like before, he just attacked us pure out of anger. After that, he was driven by lust and wanted to violate Aria who is the mastermind of the attack. She was the target of his frustration since the beginning, I should have known sooner.
