Curry and Rice

Toby and Eva proceeded throughout the day as normal, ignoring the multiple truism topics. Instead of listening Toby drew something and Eva was fast asleep. While the teacher taught, Toby could hear other kids vilifying Eva, it was clear that the comments were fake. Toby was going to go over and stop their derision but before he could the class finished and everyone flocked out for lunch. He viewed Eva as omniscient compared to his vacuous classmates. Although, due to Toby's influence, most of the bullies backed down. He was glad but wanted it to stop completely.

During lunch they had curry and rice. This school was nowhere near wealthy but they weren't poor either. Most classrooms looked the same and the school reused the same books. This school was very big because it was the only middle in the area that Toby lived in.

Despite being in a minor city underground, it was still very big, the school just had less accessibilities unlike a major city. It would be like comparing New York to Texas in size.

The despot council or government does not provide substantial amounts of money to minor cities, so minor cities make the most out of what they have. This is also one of the factors to the poor condition of the gnarled and beat-up alleyway.

If a city was new and had a few people it would be promoted to a minor city after gaining a number of people, then they would upgrade to a major city after gaining a hundred-thousand people. Toby's city's population is 38,234.

Although most people hated having curry and rice most days, Toby liked it and he ate it happily while Eva was watching from a distance criticizing him.
