22. The biggest fear

"It was mutual until you had to appear again!"

She yelled as a blow of energy came from her hands throwing me against the tree. I wished so much I had some super powers on me to throw her away as well, but I was a simple human. The only thing I could do was grab her by her hair and punch her. I was that furious. I didn't see Franklin who came to help me get up while yelling at Aurea. Nor the others who gathered around.

" What the hell are you doing Aurea?! "

Franklin yelled at her but I was to focused on getting revenge.

" Wo wo what are you doing? " Franklin held me by my arms to not go near her while some other guy was holding her.

" I will beat her up! I am angry! " I whispered-yell.

" You can't she is stronger than you! "

" Oh yeah ?! Watch me. " I tried to move but Franklin didn't let me go.

" I have been to nice to you Aurea! Do you want me to be bad?! "

I yelled at her who was also being held not only physically, some guy, kind of put a spell on her to not move.

" Oh as If! You are to goody goody! " She mocked me laughing with irony.

I closed my eyes, it was like I had done this before. It came naturaly to me, It was as if I was reaching her by her throat not physically ,I grabbed her by her throat and I entered in her head finding her biggest fear. Her biggest fear was loosing her powers. I played in her mind made her imagine she was powerless a simple human just like me.

I didn't understand what I was doing until I felt somene shaking me by my shoulders calling my name. I opened my eyes, it was Gideon, who looked at me concerned while Aurea was coughing. What did I just do.

"Tara are you alright? What happened? " He touched my cheeck, but I was angry at him too.

"She has powers. She entered my head and played with my mind." Aurea spoke through coughing.

"What ? How?" Franklin's eyes lit up.

"I don't know I was angry. You didn't let me go and beat her up so I kind of imagined it." I shrugged.

"What made you angry? Why are you fighting?

" Gideon asked looking once her then me .

"Will one of you two answer?!" He demanded again this time with autority.

"Ask your bed girlfriend, I am still angry. " I left while all eyes were on me.

"Wait!" I heard footstep behind me, I recognized the voice, his scent.

"Leave me alone Gideon!"

"Let me expain to you, please."

I stopped walking and turned to face him.

"What do you have to explain? We are nothing, you don't have to give me explanations. That's why you ignored me during this trip, instead you stayed with her because I cool you down, while with her you lit fires. "

" It was just a physical thing while you were absent. With you is different."

" Why? Because you need me for this mission? Especially now that I did that thing , magic how do you call it? "

" No damn it! It was just sex with her. I couldn't touch you fuck! I only got to kiss you and that's it."

" You slept with her when we were together? You came to my room every night and during the day you slept with her?"

" No, the night I didn't come. Only that night when we were together. I stayed with her before I met you."

" Go Gideon! Leave before I do something worse than I did to her!"

" No , I am not leaving amymore. No more leaving."

" I may hurt you, I don't want to enter in your head! I am furious Gideon, leave!"
