53 Chapter 52- The Mask

"Wah" Waking up from his slumber, Jack let out a moan due to his deep sleep. Stretching his hand through another, Jack rise from the bed as he made his way outside his room. Looking ahead, he saw Cecile happily smiling as she does her work, making him quite startled.

"Cecille-san, how come you're early today?" Knowing Cecile hard working temperament, Jack didn't find it strange seeing her earlier from her working hours.

Hearing his voice, Cecile happily looks at Jack as she asked mysteriously. "Hehe, Jack I have good news for you."

Jack decided to restrain his Spiritual Sence (Psychic Force) training his absolute control of his Psychic Energy, so he looks at Cecile confusedly.

Putting down the documents she held in the nearby table, Cecile approach Jack as she hugged him happily. "Congratulation, you got a special promotion, warrant officer."

Startled by the hug, Jack didn't push Cecille and asked. "Promotion?"

Looking at his confused expression, Cecile found it cute as she explains. "Ehe, after learning that you saved Princess Euphemia from danger, Princess Cornelia gave you a special promotion."

"Oh," Jack exclaim as he didn't expect to get promoted by that accident.

Cecile seeing his inadequate reaction pout. "Mou, aren't you happy?"

Scratching his cheek nose in embarrassment. "I am happy, but can you let me go Cecile-san if others found us in this position, I think they...."

Cecile realizes that her action was way intimate hurriedly push Jack away in a flustered manner, a red hue appeared on her cheek as she looks at Jack.

The atmosphere turns strange as silence envelops the place, encountering this situation for the first time, Jack hurriedly took his backpack as he escapes leaving Cecile in a dumbfounded manner.

"Fu..." Cecile unconsciously laughs as she looks at Jack strange performance.

Looking at his classmate happily chatting and laughing, Jack unconsciously thought of Romnick and Arvin that made him stop on his track with a dazed expression.

Shaking his head with a sigh, Jack made his way to the class, ignoring the silent stare of his classmate. After sitting on his chair, Jack releases a long sigh, as he realizes that the bustling noise stop as Jack saw his classmate silently whispered each other while looking at him. 'I can hear you guys.' Jack silently cursed on his mind.

Ignoring the curses of his classmate, Jack closed his eyes as he eased his mind to cultivate.

Looking at Jack, the students voice out their ridicule as they thought that he was sleeping. Jack ignored them as he focused on his cultivation that he didn't notice the class was already over. As he was about to stand from his sit, Milly's voice echoed throughout the Academy. "This is Milly, your Student Council President. Find a Cat!"

"Capture the cat which is running loose on Campus!"

"Club activities are suspended for the time being!"

"Participating Club will get priority on their budgets."

Milly took a deep breath as she continued as she passionately said.

"Whoever catches the cat get a special prize!"

"A kiss from a member of the student council!"

Hearing the Student Council President announcement, the male and female student excitedly cheered, a woman with orange hair wearing a school swimsuit was about to jump on the pool stumbled as she carelessly fell in the pool making a big splash.

While on the other place, Karen stops on her track as she heard Milly's voice. "Student Council...?"

"Me, too!?" Realizing that she was now a part of the Student Council, Karen exclaim in a flustered manner.

"Exactly!" Hearing her shout, a bunch of students each wearing their club attire showed in a nearby bush, hiding like a predator staring at their prey.

"Oh, what splendid ladyships lips!" One of the students madly exclaim.

"It's not only gonna be a peck on the cheek, is it?" A student wearing eyeglasses said to his clubmates.

"Nah, getting one on the cheek would be fine!" One of the students that belong to another club said with a passionate voice.

"Eh, we can choose where we get kissed?! Well, then..." A student exclaim as drool stream down on his mouth as his imagination runs wild.

"All right!" The student cheered in unison as they scattered to find the strange cat.

Karen watches them dumbfoundedly, as red hue appeared on her both cheek. "No, stop! That was my first kiss!"

The female students who heard the announcement also excitedly scattered to find the black cat as they want the kiss of their Prince Lelouch.

"Fight, oh!" The member of the rugby club shouted.

"We have the advantage of mobility, GO!" The leader of the Horse club let their horse neigh with their boiling blood.

"Find a catnip!"

Looking at the excited students of Ashford Academy, Milly was also excited as she shouted. "When you capture the cat bring, what it's carrying to me!"

"President, stay out of this!" Lelouch runs through the whole campus as his breath became heavy.

"Offering people as prizes, that's why I hate Britinians!" Kalen said with remorse.

Seeing this scene, Jack grins as he thought. 'Who should I tease? Kalen? Shirley? Milley?!'

Jack found that teasing the female character of his favorite anime was amusing, so he decided to make it as a habit to enjoy his life in animeverse!

Jack hurriedly spread his Spiritual Sense covering the Ashford Academy and found the cat running toward the roof of the chapel.

With a body like a leopard, Jack runs like an athlete as he chases the cat with a grin on his face. The students who saw Jack turned startled as they didn't expect that someone could move that fast in Ashford Academy. Taking many turns, Jack arrives at the hallway of the chapel as he bumped to Lelouch, who was breathing heavily.

"Oh, I decided to join the fun." Seeing Jack, an ugly expression appeared on Lelouch's face as he didn't expect to bump to this monster. Lelouch didn't say anything as he ignored him and chases the cat.

Jack jumped to the roof and entered one of the windows. Not knowing Jack thought, Lelouch clenches his teeth as he runs in the stairway leading to the top. "Damn, is he even human that was already the 3rd floor!"

Jack existed toward the small window leading to the roof and crawled his toward the cat, knowing the future plot. Jack knew this is the best solution to get rid of his worst status toward the student's heart it's not like that he cares about others opinion, but a positive impression is better than the latter.

"Jack!" Shirley shouted.

Below the chapel, a crowd of students gathered as they look at the top with a strange expression.

Then Lelouch followed Jack as he shouted. "Jack!"

"Don't worry!" Jack look at the cat with a gentle gaze.

'Tsk.' Lelouch made his way out the window, but his hand slipped, causing him to slide down at the roof.

"Whoa!" The crowd shouted as they saw Lelouch in a dangerous situation.

"Sigh." Jack let out a sigh as he let his body slide down to catch Lelouch and grab the edge of the window to support their weight.

"You okay, Lelouch?" Jack asked.

"Yeah." Lelouch was surprised at first because he didn't understand why Jack saved him.

"Txk, you need exercise, your body is the worst kind I have seen," Jack said with a grin on his face.

"Tsk, I am only worn out," Lelouch said with an annoyed tone.

Jack shrugged his shoulder, then took the cat on his arms as he made his way down on the chapel. After exiting the Chapel, Jack notices the crowd silence and awkwardly scratch his nose.

Shirley notices the atmosphere, so she genuinely greets him with a smile on her face. "Thank you for saving Lulu."

Rivals followed and said with a cheerful voice. "Way to go, transfer student."

"That cat was carrying something, isn't it?" Milly followed as she was certainly curious about the cat took from Lelouch.

Jack seeing this, smiled. " It seemed to be carrying something with its head, but I didn't get a good look at it."

"Where's Lulu?" Shirley asked.

"Hmm, he was looking for something, so he said that I should go on without him."

"That's it, his embarrassing secret!" Milly shouted as she pointed her finger on Jack's face excitedly.

"Is that what is this about, Miss President." Coming out from the chapel, Lelouch look at Milly with a calm expression.

"Oh, I thought I finally had something on him," Milly said with a depressed expression.

Kalen suddenly asked. "So, do you two know each other?"

Lelouch looks at the crowd and notices their expression. "Hmm, he's my friend."

'Now this should pay on what happens earlier,' thought Lelouch.

"Miss President, would you allow him to join the student council?" The student council member was surprised but didn't say anything and look at Milly.

Milly fell on deep thought. 'Hm, this should ease the tension between Japanese and Britinian.'

"Oh, why not, this is the request of the vice president so how could I reject," Milly said with a smile on her face.

"Well, that settles!" Nunnally approach with her wheelchair.

"Both of you, can I lend your ears for a second?"

Knowing what Nunnally wants, Jack let out a forced smile as he didn't get a chance to tease the other member student council.

Nunnally held their ears with her both hands, as she pecks their cheek with her lips.

"The reward that Milly-san promised. Since both of you did it, so be satisfied with this half member of the student council."

"All right! Let's celebrate our catching the cat!" Rival shouted.

"Of course, the new guy treat!" Rival said.

"Hey, don't sponge him!" Shirley said, then the whole member of the student council introduce themselves to Jack.

Looking at their friendly attitude, Jack looks at the sky and thought. "I want to punch Romnick!"

Romnick from the real world shivered. "Damn! Jack, I know your thinking something bad about me!" Then something hit his forehead that made him cried out in pain.

"Romnick, shut up!" Teacher Tricia said.
