52 Chapter 51- What a Mystery

Ashford Academy is a philanthropic organization involved predominantly in the supply of educational services founded by the formerly noble Ashford House. Unbeknownst to most, it is attended by Lelouch and Nunnally due to their mother's past relationship with the Ashford as they granted them free residence within the campus's Student Government Clubhouse.

The school is large and extravagant, its even own chapel, and run by the Student Body President, Milly Ashford. Milly's reign made the school frequently thrown into chaotic competitions or festivals for little or no reason.

Inside the Ashford Academy chapel, two men wearing black trousers, black long sleeve, and black jacket with gold trims and lining with Ashford Academy logo on the neck as they wordlessly look at each other. Lelouch stared at the black-haired youth leaning in a nearby pillar with carefree expression. "What are you scheming?"

"Eh, I am not planning on doing anything though," Jack said.

In his whole life, Lelouch didn't want to meet the most is Jack and the white Knightmare in the Shinjuku. "You entirely usurp Suzaku existence, it that your Geass, to alternate and read our memories?"

What bugged Lelouch that night in the orange incident is Jack Geass after a lot of thought, he concluded that his power had something to do with memories and the limit of Jack Geass is still a mystery to Lelouch, so he's quite fearful to his Geass.

Although his theory is not proven, base on what he experienced this youth can freely manipulate sense and memory, so when Lelouch realizes the power of his Geass a pale expression appeared on his face knowing how monstrous Jack is.

'And that white Knightmare.' When Lelouch thought about the past event, a shudder runs through his spine. Regarding Knightmare, Lelouch knew how it operated and its maximum performance, but after seeing the Lancelot exceeding its performance capacity made him realize that all things can surpass the limit by its user, so Lelouch is slightly skeptical on how to confront them.

The trauma of Lancelot lightning speed in Shijunku left a knot inside his heart, but the hatred toward Britannia overcome his fear.

'The two-person you feared the most are one person. lol!' Looking at Lelouch mind, Jack couldn't help but smile wryly.

Also, Jack was impressed that Lelouch can deduct that much after experiencing his Geass in just a short amount of time. 'Worthily of the Brain that destroyed Britannia.'

"I will not trouble your own business, so you don't have to worry." Saying this word, Jack left without looking at Lelouch doubtful expression.

Walking toward his locker, Jack found his things stolen as the smell of paint attack his nose, Opening it, Jack saw the word "Eleven Terrorist" written in a red color that made smile wryly. "Even in this world."

Looking at the paint, Jack recalled unsightly memories from the real world "Discrimination" he didn't expect that taking Suzaku existence will make him experience the thing that made him commit suicide but after obtaining the power to control fate itself these minor things were like done by children playing a prank on him, so Jack disregarded what they did.

Leaving the Ashford Academy empty-handed, Jack made his way through Lloyd place, Cecille look at Jack with a startled expression. "Where are your things?"

"Heh, seems like the status of Eleven is quite hard." Jack let out a sigh.

Cecile approaches Jack as she patted his shoulder. "Yup, so you need to work harder."

Walking toward his room, Jack retired from his bed with an exhausted face.

Waking up, Jack looks at the mirror inside the bathroom and notice his height seems to increase again. Before obtaining the Universal Bead, Jack height is only 170cm, but now disguised as a high school is not a strange thing anymore.

Attending the class in the Ashford Academy, Jack routine could be considered ordinary. Looking at his classmate indifferent eyes, disdain, contempt, Jack didn't let his temper flare up because if he did, the whole class will be massacred by him. Though using his Geass to get their trust is efficient, but Jack didn't want that because he wants to gain their genuine sentiments, not something artificial.

Ignoring the cold stare of the students, Jack calmly proceeded to the cafeteria buying some bread and drinks.

Looking at the peaceful skies, Jack couldn't help but smile, then a girl carrying sharp tools walk in the nearby as she marks it with a symbol like this +.

'Using this girl to know the boundary of your Geass Lelouch?' Using his Psychic Force, Jack remove the energy influencing her making the girl startled.

"Eh? What am I doing here?" The girl looks at her surrounding with confusion, then seemingly felt someone stare. Looking at the rooftop a blush unconsciously appeared on her face as she saw a handsome man looking at her with a smile on his face, the girl hurriedly escapes as she felt hot making her face red with steam coming through her head.

"Hey, Nunnally wants to see you, Suzaku that is." Lelouch looks at the girl with disbelieved as he didn't expect this guy to offset his Geass. Apart from C.C, Lelouch didn't expect someone to make his Geass invalid, knowing that Jack also obtain his Geass through the contract with C.C. He wondered why the weight of their power is like an ant and elephant, while they have the same source the difference between them made him look like an ordinary person looking at the Celestial.

"Oh, are you sure that me, meeting your sister is a good idea?" Jack look at Lelouch with teasing smile as he knew the importance of Nunnally on his heart.

Lelouch couldn't help but make an ugly expression. 'Damn this bastard.'

"If you did something to Nunnally, even if I sacrifice the whole Ashford Academy to take you down, I will certainly do it."

"Ehe, that's not good, Lelouch-chan. If you did something like that, do you think I will not be aware of it?"

"Furthermore, doing that, are you sure that I will die with that kind of threat?" Jack said with a cold smile on his face.

"Y-You." Lelouch expression sink, realizing that all of his action seems to be a joke from Jack perspective.

"Ehe, don't worry, didn't I tell you... I will not interfere with your plan taking down Britannia I'll only watch, and live peacefully."

"With that power, you could rule this world, why would you be contented with just this!" Lelouch shouted as he felt doubtful to Jack words.

"Isn't the same with you?" Jack smiled brightly.

"The same with me?" Confused, Lelouch asked.

"Yes, same with you, aren't you doing this for your sister dream? What was her dream?"

"A kind world."

"Ehe, isn't a kind world peaceful?"

"So isn't the same? Don't worry I will not act against you, building that world is surely wonderful."

"And didn't you consider that I will assist you in the future? Ehe." Laughing loudly, Jack made his way out of the rooftop, leaving Lelouch staring dumbfoundedly at him. After recovering from his dumbfounded state, Lelouch hurriedly followed Jack, guiding to him to Student Clubhouse.

"Don't make a noise," Lelouch said to Jack.

Jack nodded as he looks at the dining room with interest, then the door automatically opens as a golden-haired girl sitting in a wheelchair and a black haired woman with a maid outfit entered. "I'm home, big brother."

"Welcome home, Nunnally. Sayako." Lelouch said with a smile.

"I have a present for you," Lelouch said.

"Oh, what could it be," Nunnally asked in wonder.

Gesturing Sayoko to be silent, Lelouch made a gesture to Jack who notices it and came forward with a smile. Crouching down to Nunnally's level, Jack held her warm hand making Nunnally surprise as she also explored his hand. "This hand!"

"Thank heaven." A teardrop appeared on the corner of her eyes and brought his hand toward her cheeks so that she could feel his warmth.

"I knew, you're alright."

"It's been a long time, Nunnally." Staring the golden-haired girl that has the same age as him, Jack couldn't help but feel that this girl is quite pitiful to experience the struggle of her parents at a young age.

Holding her hands, Jack felt more motivated to build the world that Euphy and Nunnally desired.

"You'll stay the night, won't you, Jack?" Lelouch and Jack sat at the table as they listen to Nunnally.

Although he didn't know how Jack Geass work, Lelouch felt uncomfortable that Jack used Geass toward his sister, but he didn't do anything to correct his sister, fearing that it will lead to another painful memory that she will endure.

"Su..Jack is a student of the Ashford Academy now. So you can visit him anytime." Seemingly remembered that Suzaku is not in this world anymore, Lelouch corrected himself as he nearly blows his cover making Jack kick him under the table.

"Really!?" Nunnally said excitedly.

"I do have work to do for the military though, so it can't be every day."

"You... You're still in the military?" Nunnally asked in worry.

"It's alright. I was in the engineering unit, so it's not dangerous."

"So it's was engineering unit, huh." Lelouch realizes there's no longer tea in the pot.

"Unlike seven years ago we're your host now," Lelouch said to Jack as he stood on his sit.

Making his way toward the kitchen. "Didn't I tell you to stay in my room?"

"That man is the Britannian soldier from Shinjuku, isn't he? Is this wise?" A light green haired woman said to Lelouch.

"He's not that Britannian soldier, that's Jack."

"What are you talking about isn't Jack the soldier who was with you in Shinjuku?" C.C said with doubt.

"Y... don't tell me you're under his Geass influence." Surprised, Lelouch didn't answer her question but look at her with shock.

"What are you... Ugh!" C.C held her head as the power of her code glowed brightly making the influence of Jack Geass disappeared on her consciousness.

"Hey, are you okay?" Lelouch asked silently.

Recovering from the pain, C.C looks at Lelouch before she fainted to his embrace.

After taking C.C to his room silently, Lelouch made his way back to the dining room.

"Muu, Brother why did take so long." Nunnally pouted.

"It's fine," Jack said to Nunnally then turned his head to Lelouch.

"I will be going." Lelouch nodded as they took Jack outside.

"Come visit again. Nunnally would like that."

"Sure." Looking at his departing back, Lelouch frown.

Although he didn't know what happens to C.C, Lelouch knew that it has something to do with Jack. Back in the kitchen, it was clear that C.C didn't remember Jack existence beside his name replacing Suzaku if Jack didn't offset his Geass to himself, he is probably under his influence until now.

Lelouch shook his head as he disregards the thought of Jack power and comforted himself that Jack was not an enemy for now. "What a mystery."
