Ch. 8

"I'll catch you in the morning." I nodded as I headed for Kim room. Hopefully she wasn't teasing me. I had no idea what I was walking into. She was wild and had the energy of damn energizer bunny. This is one of the reasons, my sex drive seemed to died. Because shifters had too much stamina and between Alice and Zoe. I was always dead tired when they truly wanted to play. I groan as I woke up feeling entirely too sore. Quick glance out the window and I saw it was well into the afternoon. With slow and lazy yawn while waving my hand to closed the curtains. I turned over and was about to go back to sleep.

I peak open my eyes as Kim came out the bathroom. She glance at me with mischievous smile on her face. "I thought you would be up and gone by now." I rolled onto my back and look at the purple bruises all over my body. Definitely the teeth marks around my throat and collar bone. She scrubbed her hair with the towel as she sat down on the edge of the bed. "Zoe wanted me to tell you that she off to make up the classes she miss and hopefully get her high school diploma. Alena came back this morning and Agent Monica Ryan is waiting to talk to you." I shrugged as I crawled to kiss on her back. "What do you plan on doing?" She shrugged and dropped the towel before grabbing some panties she laid out.

"Well before the collapse, I was just a military rat but I don't think I can do that again. I might apply for one of those adventure teams. They go out and farm dungeons and keep down the population of monsters." She lift up her leg as she slid it on. I dropped to my feet and took over for her. She look at me with a weird expression. "You aren't going to become clingy, right?" I raised my eyebrow and gave a shit eating grin. "Of course, tell me anytime you need space but right now. I have to hurry and get you out the room. So I can go back to sleep." She laughed before pointing at stockings. I help her into clothes before crawling back into her bed. She shook her head before waving her fingers. "Sorry but you have to leave. Dropped the covers off in the wash basket." I blinked and she clapped her hands. "Chop chop." I sighed as I crawled back out of bed. I waved my hands and her covers floated after me. I was surprised when I couldn't find the damn laundry room. I finally got tired as walk into the living room and saw somebody sitting on the couch. I gave up as I turned around and headed to bed.

I was awoken by hard coil body sliding into me. Without even opening my eyes, I knew it was Zoe. Nobody else would crawl into bed with me and stroke my horns affectionately. "What did Alena say and how was school?" She shrugged like I could see that. "Something about the child being fine and my body adapting to create energy for the oversize pig. Otherwise, it is healthy and the transformation to my genetic chromosomes should stop soon." My eyes pop open. I patted her down before pulling her phone out her back pocket. Dialing Alena right away. I was frustrated when she didn't even answer the phone. Zoe pulled me on top of her with a worried look. "It shouldn't mean anything bad, right?" Rolling my eyes while throwing off a smile, I dial one more time. And she finally deem it not so troublesome to answer. "Oh my fucking gosh! Do you realized I was in the middle of an experiment which could rewrite the means of energy? Do you have any idea how groundbreaking this could have been?" i couldn't stop the growl from escaping out my mouth or the hand that formed on her side and knock some sense into her. She was crazy to believe I wouldn't put her up on a torture chamber. I heard an 'Oh fuck!' before thud. It took her few minutes to respond after that. "Jayden?" She sounded properly remorseful. "Destroy your lab and you have fifteen minutes to get in front of me before I really feel like you are rebelling." I heard her gulp before she screamed for everybody to get out. Then an explosion. I grinned as I look at Zoe who look not as happy.
