Alena was furiously writing in her notebook, while mumbling nonsense. "Heroes lack a certain basic understanding of their abilities. But have some kind of basic instinct on how to utilize a crude form." She glance at few of them as she hurried after me. Alice just shook her head. Jasmine stood outside handling the situation while I took a tour of her six bedroom house. Everything had a particular woman but professional touch to it. Like she was never truly home so couldn't bother to decorate herself but hire someone to do it for her. I lick my lips as I smelled someone else scent in here. I know she had finance a few years back. Don't know if she follow through. I sigh and look at the rooms before I started putting people in them. Kimberly in one by herself. Alena and Alice in my room. Zoe and Nami in the next. David in the last. That takes up about four rooms and leave one for guest. First thing first, was to take a shower and a nap. Life sucks.

I woke up feeling hungry and smelling foreign scents. Something smelled horrible to my senses. Rubbing my eyes and yawning like snow leopard, I managed to make it to the kitchen to see some guy attempting to cook. First, it smell like he was burning something. Second the meat didn't smell fresh at all. I look at Dave and Kim who was sitting around the counter watching news on tv. I sigh as I walk away from that horrid mess to what I thought was the balcony but it was directly led to the back yard. I spotted a grill and decided to cook my own food. I spotted the girls relaxing in the hot tub? Yawning one more time, I glance into the sky before flying up. I had to range far out just to find some mutated animals. I guess they really cleared out their surroundings or these animals were just like the ones back on that other planet. They could sense power and stay away from it. It took me literally thirty minutes to find something edible. There was a dozens of packs of wolves and other mutated funny looking animals. I just decided to eat the wolves instead. I dropped onto a branch above them and froze there blood. Why bloody them up unnecessary when you can put them in a coma and keep them fresh? I loaded them up onto my cloud and headed back towards the little club house. On my way, I spotted several fires and several flights of birds.

I dropped down in the spacious backyard and noticed a few orbs hovering. Watching me. I waved my hand freezing them solid. They dropped out the sky as I strolled up to the grill. Zoe was lounging on one of those beach chairs. I began gutting and skinning the wolves alive. Yep, I was a bit of sicko. It was the only thing I could do to distract me from the noise of the city. It was too peaceful. Too loud. I was use to limited amount of noise. Everybody was so use to not making much noise when I was around. When I was out hunting, not many beast chose to be loud.

I dropped the fur in a pile before expertly butchering the wolves. Getting every pound of meat of them as I could. Dave stroll out the house with smile on his face. I noticed how he smiled at Naomi before turning to me. He look at the plate than my table full of assorted cuts of meat. I was in process of looking at how the grill was set up when he walk over. Now plateless.

"Hey boss, need a hand?" His rich baritone voice always made me feel like he used to be radio host or something. "Yeah, go grab some fallen branches." He nodded and dashed over to the little forestry these people had going on. Alice and Kimberly walk over seemingly like they were going to offer help. I pointed into the house. "I need season. Bring me salt, pepper, and whatever else they have for steak and hamburger season." Kimberly nodded while Alice leaned against patio railing. "Are we finally going to have that talk?" I glance at her as I took the silver grillz off the grill. They needed cleaning bad. With a bit of imagination, I created gristle brush and got to work.

"Explain to me what talk we should have?" I spoke while scrubbing. She sighed while dropping into a seat. "The fact that we aren't even talking as much as we used to. You go out and come back. You don't even look to me for sex anymore. I can understand I was the one who push you away but you could have…" I covered her mouth with nice even layer of ice. "Stop before you hurt your little brain." I finished scrubbing the grillz before cleaning out the bottom. "You're not the only person around who I care about. When you decided on your own to push me back. I let you. I don't have to force people to sleep with me. Plenty of more females out there to rape or save. Ignoring the fact that both Alena and Zoe are fine with the new arrangement. Added on to that, I no longer have higher sex drive or confusion over my emotions." I wiped the sweat from my forehead as I look at Dave. He had a bundle of long branches. I grabbed a few and cut them into wood chips. I evenly spread them before releasing the cover on Alice mouth. She open her mouth to speak when i turned to Kimberly. "Thank you dear." I put the season on table before I motioned for Dave to light the grill.

I noticed all the girls got a haircut and nails done. I guess they went out during my nap. Kimberly look half decent now. With one side kind of cut low to her head and the other side in style bane fashion. Actually she look pretty nice, now that I actually stop and look. Dave chuckled and I smile apologetically as she blushed. I glance at Zoe and found she acquired a similar hairstyle. Nice two piece bikini. I began seasoning the meat. Getting it ready to be grilled.

Jasmine Pov

"Sir, I don't think my father will work with us. He always had a problem with authority but it seems to be something different.." Dr. Vincent interrupted me with cough. "My team analyze his behavior up until now and his past records. We have determine that he is similar to a shifter with his personality shifts. As long as we don't do anything to challenge or provoke him. He will considered us friends."

I glance at the Doctor before looking back towards the King and ex- prime minister. He folded his hands behind his back as he pace around his office. He turned back to the screen with serious look. "Keep a watch over him. I don't want another rogue evo. Definitely one with your father abilities. Also keep watch out for that level nine dragon. It is somewhere near your location." He disconnect the holographic call and I turn to the team of supposedly best in their fields within my city.

"Explain to me one more time why you think that man might not be the father he used to be?" I ask with as much calmness as I could muster. Dr. Alexander coughed before pulling up a holographic image of my father. "To be honest, the report Dr. Olivia Hurley filed should be questioned. Not only have the other test subject shown signs of instability but most of them were beyond saving, mentally." He pushed his glasses up as he got serious. "Subjects before your father couldn't even function on civil level much less a basic. Yet, your father batch showed no signs of such problems. Only minor changes in appearances and higher libido. Their powers were minor to not very deadly. Your father could lift few pounds more than his own body weight. He had control over fire though he showed mediocre ability. The best subject was ex-colonel who had physical enhancements."

I waved my hand. "To the point." He sighed. "Your father abilities now are remarkable. From the chains he used to bound your abilities and physical form. To the cloud he summon from congestion of water particles. Ignoring his demonic appearances…"

"What he is trying to get to is that your father is more akin to apex predator than human. You can even say that his tendencies since being back is to someone from a war torn nature. Highly alert, highly dangerous when provoke, and hungry for what he or she lack." Dr. Giles spoke in her typical blatant tone. I waved my hand for her to go on. "I think it is best not to expect a human reaction to certain stimuli and simple be upfront with your father." I nodded and flipped through the reports Olivia wrote about the man. Everything she had to say was in both negative and positive tone.

We barely got into discussion other than dumbass shifters when Director of FBI pick up his phone and started frowning. He gave me such a horrible look that I wanted to bury myself. "Your father took down our best squads and is now on a date with Zoe in movie theater. Local cops and only evos left have it surrounded but…" He left everything else unsaid. I wonder who in their right mind authorize an attack on him. Knowing we officially register him as level ten beast. The Elf representative stood up. She look bored as always. "I'll go with you to check out this man whom you guys can't even control."

Jayden pov

"You love causing trouble don't you?" Zoe sounded more amused than upset as we watch a very intriguing romance movie. I chewed on some salty popcorn while I rubbed on her stomach. She shifted often before turning to stare at me. "Can you stop? I know you like the idea I am fatten up like a cow but it is kind of uncomfortable." I rolled my eyes and move my hand down to her thighs. The most frustrating thing about being in a crowded place with loud sounds. Wasn't the thought of what could happen but how loud everything was. How little exits you had to escape. The fact that you could literally smell stale popcorn and hear someone giving head not to far away. Ignoring the fact that you had no idea what was on the floor, beneath your knees. But people were sending you glances or recording you without your permission. I sighed as I buckled in and focus on the crappy drama. I was so glad when it was all over. Zoe even look impressed as I complained about various parts. Showing my outrage at the over down or watered down romantic scenes. She even challenge me to do better which I so could do. I was even thinking of few things that would blow away someone mind as we walk out the movie theater.

Call me baffled as I could have sworn I heard a whole bunch of cop cars outside. Plus a dumbass on bullhorn but the street was remarkable clear. There was decent size crowd coming in and out. This was not what I had in mind to help hype up my vibe. I could only sigh in disappointment as we headed to diner that was label as the best homey feel. I slide into a booth and she dropped in beside me. Leaning her head against my chest. I wasn't all that surprised when Naomi and Dave join us. Sister tend to talk when they were close. Even compare experiences. Definitely since we saw the same movie. To past the time while we wait on our food, I brought up the shitty movie again. I had to get the most brownie points but I didn't expect Dave to pay as much attention as I did. Some of bitch didn't want to lose. That was fine. I was definitely about to make hallmark scene! See if he could out beat me then!

However, our party came to crashing end when Jasmine and two others decided to join in. "Father, I am not only disappointed as your daughter but also as someone else with abundant power." She went into lecture mode and I decided to eat. Zoe laughed at me along with Dave but Naomi seemed a bit serious. Not that I cared. Naomi was probably the one who saved the day.

"You should stop all this childish nonsense. I don't want my niece growing up in a world where imbeciles have to come challenge you every second. Because your the biggest baddest threat to humanity. I am sure my sister thinks the same. In fact, you should be thinking about what could happen to her or her unborn daughter if someone wants to play dirty while you out hunting? I know for a fact you don't want to lose either so you should stop this bullshit while you ahead." Dave coughed and nodded. Like a groupie with his cheerleading. I glance at Zoe before sighing. She stopped laughing as she touched her own stomach. I could see a trace of concern in her eyes and while I wasn't all that worried about her being hurt. Alena was a lot softer. I growled before leaning back.

"You make a good point. So how about this? You stop spying on me and I'll stop destroying public property and those want to be heroes." Jasmine cleared her throat as she shot Naomi a grateful look. The elf behind her seemed a bit disappointed and I motioned for Zoe to slide out the way. "Well now that Naomi ruined my good mood. I am going to hunt some elves to lighten my mood. Maybe I can get new toy before bedtime?" Zoe punched my arm and I held up my hands while laughing. "Joking. I will only hunt two of them?" Dave chuckled. "I kind of want a toy myself…" Naomi shot him such a look that he gulp and glance away in fear. I guess I wasn't the only one whipped. Thank god! Zoe grabbed my horn and Naomi grabbed Dave ear. They dragged us out and into the night. When we made it back to the house, Jasmine's hubby look at me as if he had something serious to say.

"Can we talk, Mr. Brown?" I glared at him as Zoe squeezed my finger. The man at least realized who the Alpha was as he look down in submissive manner. Zoe kissed my cheek. "Thanks for the wonderful time. I'm go soak as I am feeling drain and don't bully your son-in-law. Consider this training. I want to hear a good review from him in the morning." She giggled as she walk towards the bedroom. Dave snickered as I stood in the living room with frown on my face. I flipped him off and walk into the kitchen where I smelled Kimberly was. She was in lovely two piece, sleeveless pajama set. It matched her figure perfectly. To be honest, I was kind of attempted to pin her against the fridge but I was trying to be less aggressive animal. She glance at me before giving me a dazzling smile. "Hey, didn't think you guys would ever make it back. Do you want some or did you eat before coming home?" I walk over and place my hand in middle of her back as I lean in to get a sniff. As shifter, she would kind of get the hint. Either she was interested or not.

Kimberly raised an eyebrow as she scoop up some gravy and held it out for me. I took a tentative taste before moaning in surprised. I did not know she could cook. She giggled in fashion that stirred my loins. "That is amazing. I could sworn that I was the only chef in the group." Kim rolled her eyes as she started turning off the stove. "This is actually my third time cooking. I was following the recipe but thank you for the compliment." I nodded and back out of her space before grabbing tea pot. I began slowly making tea as I gestured for Jeff who name wasn't really jeff, to take a seat. Kim look between us and her food as if she was a bit hesitant to get up. "You can stay there." I turned to Jeff and he man up to speak. "I just wanted to ask you to stop adding stress to your daughter schedule. She has a lot to deal with already and I hardly get to see her at night as is…" I held up my hand as I created three drinking bowls. I pour the hot tea into them before taking a sip. The hot liquid warm my throat as it penetrated into my stomach. "Do you know what kind of woman considered work more important than coming home?" He flinched and shook his head. Not wanting to answer. "The kind who has nothing to come home to. If she walks to that door and see both of us but complains about me first. Then you are lousy husband. If she throws you signs that she needs to release stress then you are decent man." I took a sip of tea as the door opens which makes Jeff flinch. Kimberly lean forward slightly interested in the outcome.

Jasmine walk into the kitchen. Probably following her nose. She spotted us and scowls. "I remember when my father used to try and make me the happiest daughter in the world…" She went on for good twenty minutes while I shot Jeff a look. She headed to her room as she spoke loudly. I lean forward and spoke in low voice. "You are undervalued because you suck in the bedroom. Your whole life is just a decoration to make her look more appealing to the commoners. A man like this is nothing but a shadow of a dream. Watch what happens when a woman who is both emotionally and physical pleases does." We heard footsteps as Zoe, Dave, and Naomi walk into the room. Zoe threw her arms around my neck and gave me passionate kiss before she pulled back. "Naomi going to go take me to see Alena. My stomach cramps have been getting worse." I raised an eyebrow. "Alena moved out?" I didn't even noticed. Zoe shook her head.

"She traded some stuff for a lab while we were out. She probably there being all geeky." Oh, makes sense. She did like to explore knowledge more than the inside of my mouth. I kissed her goodbye and she left with Naomi. Dave grabbed a plate of food before plopping down. Jeff on the other hand look a tad bit pale. "It's fine. You can fix this problem." I glance at Kim and she raised an eyebrow. "Mind if I use you to demonstrate more husband effective techniques?" She shrugged. "I am a bit curious how you keep all these women please." I chuckled and began massaging her back along her chakras. "Women, no matter the work load or stress level, have these points in their bodies that make them more prone to sensitivity. It is why they are so emotional." Kim lean forward as her lips parted. Her breathing pick up as she tried not to let her excitement leak through.

"If you stepped around, you can see the simple pattern I am using. I am not only working out her daily stress but the muscle she tighten up all day. This can come in form of sensual relief or just plain relief. However, this makes women think of you first." Jeff and Dave stood to side watching. I could see Kim turning a bit red. I turned her so they had a better viewpoint as Kim's feet began curling as she relax into the chair. I massaged both feet equally before moving up. Dave was first one to ask questions. My aim is to make them pliable like dough." Kim face was completely red at this point. Kim couldn't fool me as I saw the dark spot. Jeff look confused and I smiled while waiting for Kim to leave. She glance at me with lust evident in her eyes.
