Nathan lead Alex into the house, "Welcome back"one of the maids said.

"Thank you, where are Dad and our guest," he asked.

"In the garden, miss Rosa wasn't filling too well so he took her there for some air" she reported.

"Mom is sick?" Alex asked.

"She had a slight headache and a fever" the maid answered.

Nathan held her hand, "let's go check on her" he said.

They walked to the terrace, and Alex could see them sitting down from afar. They moved closer and Alex stopped, "I think we should not disturb them" whispered Alex.

Nathan knew what she meant, her mother was leaning in on Nathan's father's shoulder and he seemed to be humming a sweet tune as she slept.

Alex smiled holding Nathan's hand tightly, "I have never seen a mother so peaceful"

"Am glad your not finding this weird" he whispered.

Alex snickered, "How is it weird, it's sweet of him to look after mother like that"

"Huh? You don't see it Alex?" he asked.

She frowned, "See what?"

He sighed, "Nothing, let's go before they hear us" he turned them around and walked off.

Rosa opened her eyes and breathed, noticing her head on Goerge's shoulder she moved back.

He turned to her when she moved, "Awake?" he smiled.

She nodded apologizing, "Am sorry I guess am really sick, must have slept off while listening to you"

He chuckled, "it's alright, how do you feel now?"

She smiled back, "My headache is gone, just a little weak but okay now"

"That's good, maybe some food and real sleep will help," he said.

"I don't think I can sleep anymore" she laughed.

"If your body wants to then you should, let's get you inside for some food first," he said getting up. He offered his hand and she took it.

"Thank you so much, Mr Livingston" she let out. He stopped looking at her, "I remember we had agreed on calling me George"

She chuckled, "My apologies George"

He smiled and she laughed.

Walking slowly they got to the house.

Alex turned to see her mother walk in with Nathan's father.

"Mother" called Alex. Her mother glanced in her direction and stopped.

"Alex, your back" she smiled. Running to each other, she hugged her mother.

"Am sorry I made you worry" she murmured.

"As long as your okay sweetie, you can take all the time you need" her mother embraced her.

The two moved to the living room to talk, Nathan moved closer to his father glaring.

"What have you been up to?" he asked.

"Nothing much, helped with your work at the company and taking care of Rosa," he said.

"Taking care, you're getting too close to her and I noticed the face you made when you saw her smile," he said.

"What? Am I not allowed to be happy for her? You left her in my care and during that time we found a lot of things in common" he let out.

"Dad, do you like her?" he asked.

His father didn't hesitate to answer, "Yes I do, is that a problem? He asked.

Nathan moved closer to his father.

"I don't object to you both cause during the time I have seen her, she's an amazing woman. But know this Dad, she's the most important person in Alex's life so if you hurt, you will be losing them both and a son "he said with a serious face.

His father blinked," A son? "he muttered.

"Yes, 'cause Dad if end up hurting them both, I won't let you off even if your my father "he answered walking off.
