Unbreakable love: Only one I love

Alex had one goal in life to make enough money so she could give her mother a comfortable life. But her efforts always seemed less fruitful even with her adoptive father and step-sister by her side. "Am not crying, just got something in my eye " Alex sniffed. "Am sorry, here is something that might help" the stranger said passing his handkerchief. "Thank you," she said taking it. After wiping the falling tears she turned to look at the stranger. His long brown hair was moving with the breeze around him as his dark orbs stared down at her. He bent down took his hankie and gently wiped the still falling tears from her eyes, "you missed a spot" he smiled. She smiled remembering that night, it was the day she had met him. Nathan Livingston. The man who claimed to only have eyes for her and soon had proved it.

His world

Nathan woke up to the sound of the doorbell. He opened his eyes to see Alex still soundly asleep.

It sounded again, he got out of bed and got to the door.

"What took you soooooo... long....."Cynthia forced to see the still half-asleep Nathan at the door. He moved back to let her in but Cynthia didn't move.

"Morning, if you need Alex, she's still asleep," he said.

"Oh, it's okay. I will come back when she's awake" Cynthia stammered.

"You can wait in the living room," he said.

"No, It wasn't that important so I will be leaving" she ran off.

Nathan frowned and closed the door. He returned to the bedroom and laid back down. Alex turned to his side seeking his warmth, he smiled and pulled her closer.

.....

"What did you two do, I was so speechless when I saw him at the door yesterday," Cynthia said.

"What do you mean?" Alex walked back to her office.

"What do I mean, you really don't know. He spent the night at your place and think even Sunday he was there" her sister said.

"Yes, Cynthia he was. Now please let me do my work"

"That's it, no more... Like maybe something happened between you two?"

Alex looked up, "Nothing happened, we only kissed," she said.

"Kissed, have you seen the marks on your neck down to your chest" Cynthia pointed out.

Alex panicked pulling up her blouse, "I thought I covered them with makeup"

Her sister scoffed, "We both know you're not so good at make-up, so tell me what happened"

Alex sighed leaning back, "A lot happened and I was so afraid something more was going to happen but he stopped halfway"

"Afraid? Why you don't like him back" Cynthia asked.

Alex gazed into her sister's eyes, "I don't know what exactly am feeling and am uneasy the next time it might happen cause he might want more".

Cynthia sighed, "Sister you need to tell him how you feel, this is your first time to have such feelings so you have to be filled with good experiences not worry and fear. Nathan seems to be into you so I know he will understand when you tell him all your fears"

"And what if he sees me as a coward"

Cynthia smiled, "The man treats you like you are his world. I don't think he will ever see you as a coward but only his treasure"

"I hate it when you exaggerate" Alex laughed.

"Am not and right now he just proved my point" Cynthia pointed out.

Alex turned to see Nathan standing at her door with flowers and another package.

Cynthia got out and let him in.

"Nathan what are you doing here?" she got up.

"Here to have lunch with you" he smiled. She helped him with the food and placed it aside then returned to him

"These are for you" he passed her the roses. She took them and bent her face into them taking in their sweet scents.

"Thank you," she said.
