535 Kono-Megumin-DA!

With some 'surveillance' set up around Keo's Minstrel friend, Itori, Michael didn't have much to do now... The College of Winterhold had collapsed, so most of Winterhold's efforts concentrated on constructing a new institution and reinforcing the city to prevent another attack.

The dragons weren't really a problem now that the Spire had been weaponized, and from the sounds of it, Surtr was now coming into his Dragonborn heritage...

Falkreath was now back in Dengeir's hand, so even the Thalmor were quiet...

For these reasons, Michael decided to turn his attention to something that'd been dragging on him, Saya, and a certain explosion girl...

He steps into the entertainment room where Megumin slouches in a beanbag like a couch potato. "Megumin, it's time. Grab your shit and get ready."

Her eyes light up as she hears this, instantly knowing what he meant since she'd been badgering him about it for a while now. "Okay!" she chirps, excitedly rushing off while packing a bag full of things she'd acquired during her time in Tamriel.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So... This is your home?" Saya hums as she, Michael, Tiffania, and Megumin step out of the Dimension Gate.

Michael and Tiffania had been working on making travelling between dimensions easier... Specifically, targeted Dimensions that they hadn't already been to... Basically, this meant that with Megumin's blood they could journey her home...

Thankfully, this also had the effect of taking them to the general location of where the most and closest blood relatives of Megumin were... Michael intended to use this himself after Megumin had spent some time with her family, and Saya had checked up on her cuck-friend Takashi.

The place they'd ended up landed however seemed to be a warzone. An area that appeared to have once been a field which was now littered with craters, burn marks, and other environmental damage.

"Are we even in the right place?" Saya asks as she looks around.

Megumin nods with a bright smile, "This is one of the Crimson Demon training grounds! I used to come here all the time with father! Come on! My house isn't far from here!" she exclaims, grabbing the wrist of Saya's robe and pulling her toward the treeline.

Michael and Tiffania follow behind, the latter eager to see Megumin's family... Though, Michael himself vaguely remembered that the 'Crimson Demon' clan wasn't something someone would want to be affiliated with...

On the way, they pass by a couple more training grounds, some of which had Crimson Demon clan members practising their 'magic'... Most of this however was just them trying to come up with emo and chuuni chants.

Finally, they reach a rather small home that was separate from the rest of the Crimson Demon village for some reason.

Megumin runs up with Saya and knocks on the door, almost trembling in excitement as the tapping of rapid footsteps approaches.

The door opens and the group are greeted by a mini-Megumin... It was like someone had created a smaller, cuter Megumin...

"I'm home, Komekko." Megumin greets after taking a moment to formulate her words.

...

The little girl too takes a moment to process everything, before diving into Megumin's stomach and sobbing into her robes. "Biiiig siiiiiiiss! Yoooou'rrreeee alliiiivvveeeee!! UWWWWAAAAAAA!!!"

Caught off guard, Megumin pats reassuringly on Komekko's back, "I'm alive...? I'm here Komekko..."

"Er, you were only gone around a year, right?" Michael asks, wondering if there'd been some time dilation shenanigans afoot... Komekko looked too young for something like a 'Phillip J. Fry dog incident'...

"I sent my family letters every now and then... They must've thought something bad happened when I vanished..." Megumin says, still reassuring her sobbing sister.

"Sorry..." Tiffania mutters guiltily.

"N-no! Don't be! I might have starved on the side of the road if you hadn't summoned me! I was keeping myself alive by stealing the bread people would feed ducks with!"

...

"That's pretty messed up..." Saya states, "No wonder you're so short... And..."

"You don't have to say the rest!" Megumin quickly cuts her off, still sore about the huge disparity between their respective bust sizes.

"Komekko! Who's at the door!?" an old male voice asks from inside the house, making their way to the door. "Komekko..." he pauses as he lays eyes on his older daughter, "M-Megumin!?"

"I'm home, father."

"HONEY! MEGUMIN'S ALIVE AND AT THE DOOR RIGHT NOW!?" he shouts before looking back at Megumin, "Y-you're alive right? Not a ghost? Or vengeful spirit!?"

...

"No...?"

"HONEY! SHE'S ALIVE AND NOT A GHOST!"

*Taptaptaptaptaptap!*

Moving unnaturally fast, a woman bolts from the house and tackles the two sisters, bringing them to the floor and vigorously hugging the life out of them. "MY BAAAAABBBYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!"

"M-MOOM! S-STOP! M-MY FRIENDS ARE WATCHING!" Megumin exclaims while getting drowned in kisses.

"Er, we'll leave you guys to it... Call us when you're-" Michael starts while turning to leave, only to be stopped by a masculine hand on his shoulder.

"Friends...? How did you meet my daughter, young man?"

...

"Ah, well, I think you'd be better off talking with Tiff... She was the one who introduced me and Megumin-"

"Hooh? You sound comfortable with my daughter's name... Explain that..."

Michael shakes his head, "Can we just, not do this? Here," he holds out his hand, "I'm Michael Tahlin, the guy who's not fucking your daughter, or anything else even close to that approximation." he states while locking eyes with the man.

...

"Why didn't you just say so then!?" the man smiles, gleefully shaking Michael's hand before pulling him into a hug, "BuT iF yOu Do HAve INtEntioNs toWaRds my DaugHtEr, I WilLLL BUrY YOU In a ShAllOw GRav-"

"Honey? Let go of that young man and properly greet our daughter!" the man's wife interrupts him causing his doomful expression to turn to smiles.

"Of course dear!"
