536 Kid Kidnapper

The couple soon invites everyone inside their home, preparing a meagre meal consisting of what looked like soaked stale bread in a stew of butter and leaves you'd find on the trees next to the house... Michael was pretty sure they weren't supposed to be eaten either...

"So, let me get this straight... Our daughter was summoned by you," the man says looking to Tiffania, "A special magic user who's able to traverse dimensions to be her 'Void Familiar?'"

Tiffania nods, "That sounds correct... I'm truly sorry for taking your dau-"

"I'M SO PROUD OF YOU, DAUGHTER! OUR VERY OWN DARKEST VOID FAMILIAR OF INFINITE DIMENSIONS!" the man exclaims, wrapping an embarrassed Megumin up in a tight hug.

...

"You're... Happy that we basically kidnapped her?" Michael asks in disbelief.

Hyoizaburoo, Megumin's father nods, "Of course! OUR FAMILY IS THE FIRST OF THE CRIMSON DEMONS TO FREE OURSELVES FROM THE CONFINES OF THIS WORLD!!!" he turns to the window, "YOU HEAR THAT HIROPON!?!?... Yeah, he heard..."

"Of course they'd be as weird as her." Saya whispers to herself while rubbing her face.

"T-that's not all father!" Megumin says, beginning to 'regale' her family of her many adventures in Tamriel... From the many dungeons they'd conquered, the dragons they killed, to the wars they fought. Her parents and sister ate it up with proud looks on their faces, ignoring the fact that their daughter had basically been bragging about murdering things and people.

"Wait... Say that again..." her mother stops her with a raised palm, interrupting Megumin's story.

"I-, conjured fire destruction runes along the walls to-"

"YOU USED SOMETHING OTHER THAN EXPLOSION MAGIC!?"

"Y-yeah..."

"I'M SO PRRRRROOOOOUUUUU-"

The discussion continues, Megumin eventually asking Michael to bring out some proper food for the poor, basically starving family. Megumin also started to distribute treasures and other items of hers to them, her family was in dire straights and were on the cusp of starvation despite their status as skilled magic users... The Crimson Demons had no need for any more magic users for obvious reasons, so finding work was very difficult.

"Can I see it?" Komekko asks as she steps to Michael's side, her eyes glimmering.

"See what?"

"Your sword."

Alright, the FBI isn't here yet so she probably means Derflinger... Hopefully. "Sure, Derf, I'm lending you to the future ultra-gigga-wizard of Notredam-Crimson-Demons... And darkest black-wahtever." he trails off as Komekko giggles and runs off with a reluctant Derflinger, "Don't run with me girl! You'll hurt yourself!"

"Did anything happen while I was gone?" Megumin asks her parents.

Her mother nods, "Oh some did! Do you remember Yunyun? Well, she's joined a party and become one of the most famous adventurers around! They've slain multiple demon generals and will eventually reach the Demon King if their progress is to be trusted!"

Megumin's face darkens, "Huuuh... Who's her party...?"

"Her party? I think I remember them... Aqua the Divine Arch-Priest of the Oceans, Darkness the Invincible Crusader, Yunyun the Cataclysm, and Kazuma the Lucky Pervert... If I recall correctly?"

"One is not quite like the others." Saya blankly remarks.

Megumin's mother giggles, "They're actually here in the village, it was good timing for you to come back. You'll meet your best friend again!"

"Yunyun and I aren't friends." Megumin states.

...

"But, she's the only person you were ever with? Who else would be your best friend?"

...

Megumin starts sweating, "Erm, Rodaraik... Yes, we were very good friends-"

"A MAN!? TELL ME WHERE HE IS AND-"

*Smack!*

He lands on his back with a smoking bruise forming on his head.

Megumin's mother smiles, "Continue dear." she says, and everyone else all focuses on Megumin, making her even more nervous.

"I... INEEDTOUSETHEBATHROOM!" she rattles out, sprinting out of the room.

...

"Such a funny girl." the mother says while smiling, "Ah, Michael, could I have some more of that... Soda, was it?"

"Yeah, sure-"

"So how long have you been dating my daughter?"

Sigh.

Megumin hides in the bathroom with a flushed face, embarrassed at her parents' strange questions and actions... She'd spent enough time away from them to recognise what was peculiar in the eyes of outsiders... This just made her more embarrassed though since she could see her friends struggling to keep themselves from laughing at her plight.

"Uh... Mama, why do you have to be like this..." she mutters and looks out the window, spotting Komekko running and around and struggling to swing the heavy Derflinger. "At least Komekko is having fun." she sighs.

Then, out of nowhere, a tall dark-skinned woman snatches Komekko and begins running in the forest with her...

"KOMEKKKOOOOOOOOOOO!" Megumin shrieks and runs back to the others, "MY SISTER WAS KIDNAPPED! HELP!"

"OF COURSE!" Michael exclaims a bit too enthusiastically... He was happy he had an excuse to get away from Megumin's mother's pestering... How that woman managed to ask him to impregnate her daughter five times in three words, he had no idea, but he wasn't sticking around to find out what else she'd pull out of her hat!

"HYYAAA! I PROMISE SIR! I DIDN'T TOUCH HER! YOU HAVE MY WORD! MYYYY WOOOORD!!!" a Japanese teen exclaims as he runs through the forest with an enraged Crimson Demon clan member chasing him.

"FATHER! KAZUMA DIDN'T DO ANYTHING, I PROMISE!" Yunyun shouts after them.

"What about that time he stole your panties and started sniffing them in the middle of the street?" Aqua, the Water Goddess asks with a smug look as she follows along.

"You're right, Kazuma's a beast... A perverted, dastardly beast..." Darkness adds on with a tinge of pink on her cheeks.

"JUST BE QUIEEET! YOU'RE TRYING TO GET ME KILLED!"

"NO ONE'S TRYING BOY! YOU'RE ALREADY DEAD FOR TOUCHING MY BEAUTIFUL INNOCENT DAUGHTER! SPIRALLING DEATH-FIRE BALL!" Hiropon, Yunyun's father shouts, firing a huge fire spell at the unlucky neet.
