Mingo tragedy

The sun was already rising when I finally finished dragging the corpses and the wounded out of the zone of poisonous fog that covered the entire city. Along the way, while the clones were looking for someone else to pull out, I got a lot of memories from them about the current state of the city. Not a single surviving building, all were damaged in one way or another and few were even suitable for spending the night in cover but that's it.

Watching how the clones bring more and more new bodies under the crown of trees, I silently chewed a blade of grass while standing on a branch of a high tree.

I have already lost two clones from my carelessness, as those who were stronger among the beastmen pretended to be unconscious and attacked when I carried them, thinking that the enemy was dragging them.

The regular clones were unlucky when they disintegrated in clouds of smoke, but the wooden clones fought back and put the nervous ones to sleep for a very long time. After that, I was more careful realizing that the will of these creatures is stronger than I expected.

Smirking, I looked at those who could crawl at least. Someone even stood up leaning on a sword and looked at me warily. Still smelling poison in the air, I realized that it was too late to save myself, I was already infected. The lungs began to take in too little air and the chakra will not cure this. However, unlike those who breathed it for hours or days, I was a little surprised and perhaps I had a couple of weeks or a month left to live. But to them...

Maximum two days.

Looking to the left, then to the right with the Sharingan, I saw how four people had already died from wounds and poison.

Noticing that the clones had already come and did not leave for new bodys, I realized that the clones carried out who they could, having finished the job, I immediately noticed two rulers of this nation among those lying there. The dog was lying without one leg, it was more than twice as tall as the rest, but while he was lying it wasn't clear. The cat was also quite tall, and even through his bloody fur, I could see that he was rather pot-bellied. But, the absence of his hand was an unpleasant sight for sure.

One girl crawled up and apparently had enough strength to try to bandage the dog's wound. The blood seemed to have all flowed out and I didn't see anything flowing from the stump of the leg, but the dog-girl apparently didn't notice this, and anyway, in tears, she tried to treat the wounds with scraps of fabric that she had torn off from someone.

Remembering her, I realized that this is the one that almost blew up the wooden clone. With a chuckle, I created a shadow clone and immediately dispelled it. All clones received new information and orders. Since I was already planning to gain the trust of these loyal beings, I decided to help as much as I could. With my current chakra, I had the power to do so, and protect myself from stealth attacks. Maybe I can recruit someone before I move on to my mission. Unlike the slaver pirate I had changed my mind about hiring and other scum who weren't qualified to stand at the top of this world's pyramid, these creatures were truly worthy of my trust.

Looking back, I realized that I was really smart when I left Doflamingo alive. If he had not been captured by the admirals and transported now, then the pirate that terrorized the Mingo tribe would simply have killed everyone here. Hearing the sounds of a struggle in the distance, I got up from the branch and ran along the branches in the direction from where I heard the noise of fighting.

When I arrived, I saw two clones that lay down with pure taijutsu 6 men and 2 women from the Mingo tribe who attacked them. Looking at their condition, I noticed that they were not infected. Is it possible that there are more people hiding in the forest here?

"Bastard, we won't give up and fucking kill you!!!" - there was a roar from one of them.

Looking at the growling panther girl, I said nothing, thinking about how to change her attitude and point out her mistake. Having come to the conclusion, I decided to trust that she herself would understand everything when she will see her brothers and sisters.

"The pirates are dead, all who were alive were taken out of the poisonous fog. Help them if you can."

Realizing what I meant, the clones immediately removed the wooden fetters and jumped as if they had evaporated. Being the last to leave, looking at the shock of these survivors, I squinted at one polar bear who tried to gnaw through a tree and it worked out in some way he almost freed himself. Or is it a koala?

Watching them from the side, I saw how they did not look around resolutely, but after five seconds they rushed further towards the clearing where thousands of wounded were lying.

Returning with them, I watched as they stared in awe at the identical cloaked figures that passed from one body to another and how green light and sometimes blue flashed in their hands.

Loyalty to her family took over fear and the girl jumped at lightning speed toward the clone,

Tensing, I narrowed my eyes in preparation to stop her, since the clones had quite a lot of my chakra for the sake of techniques, but she ran past the clone and fell near the little boy. Not seeing from a distance who this boy is, I assumed that it was her son or brother.

Turning away, I went to meditate deep into the forest, waiting for the arrival of one of the two doctors.

"Sir, I'm reporting! Patrol spotted an unknown ship in the east! He will be near us in a few minutes or so! - the messenger immediately jumped up and agreed on the snail.

Putting down the iron tool, the Marine officer frowned, sensing inconsistencies. Standing at a table with a giant map that marked part of the vast ocean, he turned his gaze to the soldier.

"Navigator, how many days is the latest distance from the Blue Lagoon ship?"

"2 days' journey sir."

"Then why did you say few minutes?"

Seeing that scolding soldier swallowed, realizing the strangeness of the situation. However, having already served half a year, he continued realizing that he should give an explanation as soon as possible. After all, it's what he was told.

"This is an unknown ship, without flags, and flames are roaring behind it. It moves at a speed unimaginable, according to Officer Shiroshimi it is possibly the fastest ship in existence! Its shape resembles an arrow, and it seems like the ship is made of metal, not wood." - Reporting, he fell silent waiting for the order.

"We will try to stop him if we will receive such a command, how long ago have they seen the ship?"

"16 minutes ago sir."

Having taken the necessary measures, being the head of the ship, he made the only decision. Call headquarters and report an unknown ship. Having heard the order to stop it and examine, the marines honestly tried to stop the unknown ship, enveloped in flames that roared rushing forward, no one knows where it came from, but while they were turning around to take a new course, the ship flew like a bullet in the distance leaving them behind under the open jaws from the shock of the marines.
