Persephone looked at Zeus back and sighed before sending Marguerite to Kalifa. After Marguerite left, Persephone walked over and sat next to Zeus, she leaned her head on his shoulder and said "Amazing isn't it?"

Zeus exhaled a ring of smoke and said with a smile "Yeah. 22 months ago we started and 3 months ago this was a deserted island." he looked down and saw the small districts, but what appeared in his mind was a giant island of buildings.

Persephone smiled and said with emotion "Without you I would still be in that hell hole." Zeus chuckled and patted her thigh as he said "I'm pretty amazing aren't I?" Persephone giggled and nodded saying "You really are.."

Zeus smiled and turned back to below him silently, he took a drag from his cigarette and exhaled a mouthful of smoke before vaporizing it. Persephone said "Do you ever wonder what would've happened if we stayed together there?" as she spoke her head turned up to his face.

Zeus thought about it and said "Sometimes." he turned down and looked at her face, she wasn't the most beautiful woman in the world, but she was still very pretty. Her gaze locked onto his eyes as she said slowly "Do you think we would've.."

Zeus was silent before sighing and turning back to the city view saying "Probably." he hesitated before saying softly "But none of that matters now.." he turned back only to see her tears. He felt awful, he cupped her cheeks and caressed them softly as he said "Persephone, I-"

She pressed her finger against his lips and smiled sadly "I understand." she tried to stand up, but Zeus hugged her tightly, he felt that if she stood up he would lose her forever. He pulled her into his lap and hugged her close to his body as he said "Don't leave..."

Persephone trembled and grabbed his shirt tightly before she started crying silently. Zeus closed his eyes and rested his chin on her head before whispering "Stay with me, I will protect you for the rest of my life."

Persephone looked up with puffy red eyes and Zeus said "I know it's not fair to you. I know I should let you go if I can't give you the love you want. But I can't. I'm scared if I let you go I won't ever see you again. It's selfish and greedy but It's what I want." as he wiped the tears from her eyes.

Persephone leaned her head on his chest and laughed while saying "You want me to stay next to someone I can never have?" Zeus' face turned ugly and he said "To be blunt, yes." Persephone laughed again and closed her eyes as she said "That's torture for me."

Zeus was sad and loosened her arms to let her go, but she grabbed them and wrapped them around herself before smiling softly and saying "You saved me and gave me everything I have now. A little torture doesn't matter, plus you're here now. Just hold me for a bit."

Zeus sighed and said "Is this really what you want? I know what I said, but it's constant torture for you. If me letting you go means you'll be happy then-" Persephone cut him off and said "Being near you makes me happy. If I can be near you all the time, I will be satisfied."

Feeling that the atmosphere was a little depressive she added "Who knows, maybe I'll seduce you like a little vixen~" Zeus burst out laughing and pinched her cheeks saying "You can try. I have strong doubts you'll succeed." Persephone stuck out her little tongue and said "We'll see~"

Zeus smiled and turned his gaze to the city, a little less lonely.

A week passed silently

Zeus was standing on top of a building on Sabaody with his mask and cloak on. His Observation Haki covered the entire archipelago, he saw them all, Nami, Zoro, Usopp, Franky, Brook, Robin, Sanji, Chopper, and finally Luffy, who just stepped foot on the island.

Seems like he was just in time.

He chuckled to himself and disappeared.

When he reappeared he was standing in front of a bar, he looked up and walked in. He saw Nami at the bar and sat down in a corner of the bar, not attracting any attention at all.

He looked over at the fat man with a crude straw hat and snickered to himself. The patrons of the bar looked at him and said nothing, masks and cloaks were relatively common.

The fat 'Luffy' saw Nami and said "You woman! Come have a drink with me!" Nami gave him a bland look and said "I'll pass, I'm waiting for someone else." Zeus chuckled and watched the action, one of the fake straw hats said "Do you know who he is?! He's Straw Hat Luffy!" he was glaring at Nami and surprisingly Zeus!

Zeus pointed at himself and Nami said "And?" 'Luffy' sneered and said "Bring them both to me." A short fat lady with orange hair walked up to Nami and pointed a gun at her, while a man with blue hair pointed a gun at Zeus' head.

Nami said "I think you should scram."

Zeus changed his voice and said "I'm starting the think that you don't like having two hands." Zeus tilted his head up and his red eyes shone brightly as he said "I'll rip that arm off your body if you keep pointing that toy at me, do you believe it?"

'Franky' stepped back a bit and lowered his hand, Nami felt that, that particular way of speaking was familiar and became sad muttering "Too bad he's gone..." before draining her glass.

Zeus sighed and stood up to leave, 'Luffy' snapped "What are you doing?! Shoot him!" an invisible wave spread out in the bar and a sinister voice sounded "Pulling that trigger will be the last thing you ever do." Zeus sneered at the unconscious pirates and left the bar, passing Usopp of the way out.

Zeus saw a yellowed and dirty book that said 'Usopp' on it, sticking out of Usopp's over-alls and sighed to himself before disappearing completely.

He reappeared in front of Shakky's bar and walked inside.

He saw Sanji in the bar talking to Rayleigh, Zeus ignored him and sat at the bar saying "A whiskey please" Shakky smiled and poured him a glass, Sanji looked over curiously and said "So you do get customers?" Shakky looked at Zeus and said "Only special ones."

Sanji said "Special?" Shakky covered her mouth and smiled as Rayleigh said "Leader of Tartarus, Kronos! What can I do ya for?" Sanji said "Tartarus?" Shakky pulled him aside and explained what Tartarus was.

Zeus turned his head and said "Long time no see, Rayleigh. Hope I'm not interrupting." Rayleigh sat next to him and said "Always a pleasure seeing you kiddo! Where's that girlfriend of yours?" Zeus sighed and said "I would love to know too actually. She went to train 5 months ago, haven't seen her since."

He chuckled and said "Kinda like you! Now I know how Shakky feels.." he shook his head and clicked his tongue before drinking from his glass. Rayleigh felt his mouth twitch and he said "Wanna repeat that, brat?!"

Zeus chuckled and said "Did you tell her, or did she find out on her own?" Rayleigh snapped his fingers and said "She found out by herself, believe it or not!" Zeus sighed and said "I wanted her for my information network. What a pity.."

Rayleigh laughed and said "Ask her if you want." Zeus smiled wryly and said "I like not getting beat up, thanks." Rayleigh laughed and shook his head.

Sanji was stunned as he listened to Shakky before saying "What?! Really?! So he's a super bad guy?" Shakky smiled playfully and nodded, Sanji was silent before saying "Thanks Shakky, I gotta tell the rest. See you guys later!" and with that he left extremely quickly.

Zeus checked with his haki before taking off his mask and saying "Now I'm a super bad guy?" Shakky laughed and said "Serves you right for not showing your face. Every single one of them that came here had the same book with them"

Zeus smiled wryly and said "It's not time yet. I'm planning something big after that I'll join them again." Rayleigh said "Something big?" Shakky rolled her eyes and said "Bigger than establishing a city in the New World?"

Zeus was startled and said "How do you know about that?!" Shakky smirked and said "I have my sources." Zeus got serious and said "Do you want to be the head of my information business?" Shakky laughed and waved her hand saying "I'm too old for that kiddo. Plus you be my boss? I don't think so."

Zeus smiled wryly and looked at Rayleigh before saying "Told you." Shakky looked at Rayleigh and narrowed her eyes, Rayleigh started to sweat and Shakky said "You trying to get rid of me Ray?" Rayleigh almost collapsed and Zeus burst out laughing, he quickly drained his glass and ran out the building.

Rayleigh chased him to the door and cursed "Little bastard's gonna get me killed!" Shakky grabbed his collar and said "We haven't had any 'fun' for a while have we Ray?" Rayleigh gulped and swore that he would get that kid one day.

Zeus chuckled and put his mask back on as he landed on a building and looked at the streets, he saw Luffy walking with a giant bag of meat and smiled warmly. He watched as Luffy shot a burst of Conqueror's Haki and knocked out the fake Straw Hats. Zeus chcukled and followed him secretly, he felt like he was back to 2 years ago.

Zeus watched as Luffy saw the fake Zoro and Sanji and followed them to the Straw Hat recruitment grounds.

Zeus perched on a mangrove branch and watched as Sentomaru attacked the real Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro. He was pleasantly surprised to see Sanji's movements. Not only were his Soru and Geppo beyond mastered but he had Rankyaku as well, the three of them easily took care of the Pacifistas before making a run for it.

Zeus followed them to the port, Rayleigh looked up and saw Zeus flash passed him, following luffy, and smiled to himself before drawing a line and saying "Anybody who crosses this line will have to deal with me!"

Zeus hopped from building to building and saw Perona stop some marines, letting Zoro pass without stopping. Zeus passed by her and touched her shoulder saying "Stay in this Grove if you want to know about Absalom and Moria." Perona shivered and looked to see who it was but there was nothing, she trembled and felt like whoever it was could've killed her in a second.

Zeus flashed onto the highest building before the port and looked at the Sunny silently. He was close enough that his Haki picked up what they were saying.

Sanji got on the ship and said "Apparently there is this new Underworld Organization named Tartarus and their boss was on the island at Shakky's bar!"

Robin touched her chin and said "Tartarus? Was his name Kronos?" Sanji nodded and said "How did you know?" Robin smiled slightly and said "I was with the revolutionary army. They have details about Tartarus, not any recent ones though."

Sanji said "Apparently he's a super bad guy!" the rest of the crew was confused and Sanji told them what Shakky told him, they all gasped and Luffy said "Who cares, we'll just beat him up!" the rest of the crew smiled slightly and Robin said "Do you know why he was here?"

Sanji shook his head and said "No, he was just at Shakky's bar when I was inside. He had a blank mask and a cloak." Nami said "I saw the same guy in the bar I was at!" Usopp said "Yeah! I passed by that guy going into the bar!" the crew looked at each other silently.

Zeus felt it was funny, he was standing in plain sight, maybe they would say that they all saw himself now? Sure enough, Robin pointed at Zeus and said "Did he look like that?" everybody turned their heads and saw Zeus before nodded and saying "That's him!"

Zeus sighed and really wanted to go slap some sense into these fools, luckily the marines arrived and attacked the ship, prompting them to forget about Zeus and dive under water. Robin took one last glance at Zeus before the Sunny disappeared.

Zeus watched them go before turning to the marines and flicking his fingers. A thunderstorm suddenly appeared around the marine ship and sank it along with everyone on it.

Zeus sighed and was about to leave when someone landed behind him. He turned around and saw the same mask as him and said "Wife?" Bonney took her mask off and lunged at Zeus, hugging him tightly and crying.

She pounded on his chest with her small fists and said "I missed you! Why didn't you come find me!?" Zeus said inexplicably "You told me not to!" Bonney punched even harder "AND YOU LISTENED?!"

Zeus hugged her waist and said gently "I missed you Bonney." Bonney calmed down and snuggled into his arms as she said "I missed you so much.." Zeus caressed her cheek softly as he said "Where's the old man?" Bonney grinded her teeth and said "That bastard is behind you."

Zeus spun around with Bonney in his arms and said "No face to see your son after getting crushed?" Dragon felt his eye twitch before saying "Crushed? How come I didn't see it? You must've been dreaming again." Zeus cursed "You shameless old man!"

Dragon chuckled and said "Alright, we can talk about your dreams some other time. What have you been doing?" Zeus said "Nothing much, building an island." Dragon was startled and said "Building an island?!"

Zeus nodded and said "Yeah. Abyss Island, ever heard of it?" Dragon nodded and said "I've been getting reports all day long about it." Zeus said proudly "All mine. I didn't kill any revolutionaries that were snooping around so take them back."

Dragon said snappily "Oi, shouldn't you give your father something? I even trained your wife for 2 years." Zeus laughed and said "I'll sell you weapons at a 5% discount, how about it?" Dragon scoffed and said "So stingy!"

Zeus laughed and said to Bonney "He didn't hurt you did he? He also didn't touch you inappropriately did he? I'll beat him up if he did." Dragon choked on his saliva and Bonney burst out laughing before saying "He only slapped me that one time, then he never touched me again but... He yelled a me a bunch."

Zeus snapped "You damn old man! I'll send gramps to beat you up, do you believe it?!" Dragon turned green and Zeus said seriously "By the way, I know you want Doflamingo's weapons but I want to swallow everything on Dress Rosa and take over his piece of the market." Dragon frowned and said "I need those weapons."

Zeus nodded and said "I'll let you take them but I want everything else. If you are really lacking something we can make a deal. You're my father but I still have a business to run. I'll sell you goods at market prices with a 50% cut if you buy in bulk."

Dragon rubbed his chin and said "We'll talk. I have to go back, answer your snail this time." Zeus waved and threw him an Eternal Pose saying "Just come to Abyss Island and I'll meet with you. It's really a nice place." Dragon caught the Eternal pose and nodded before disappearing saying "Don't die."

Zeus shook his head and looked at Bonney as he said "Was my little wife bullied? How about I make it better?" Bonney smiled sweetly and said "How do you suppose you do that?" Zeus picked her up and flashed into the sky as he said "I'll give you a demonstration."

A series of moans, well above the clouds, later

Zeus was back down on the ground and Bonney was walking shakily with an enchanting blush running across her face. Zeus smirked and licked his lips as he said "Just as tight as I remember" Bonney glared at him and said "Nothing for 5 months and it tightens up!"

Zeus chuckled and he held Bonney's hand before disappearing.

The duo reappeared in front of Perona, who jumped in shock at the sudden appearance of two people.

Zeus rolled his eyes and said "For a ghost you're pretty jumpy." Perona blushed in embarrassment and Zeus said "I'll cut it short for you. Absalom is dead and Moria is looking for him."

Perona almost collapsed and said "Absalom is dead?" Zeus nodded and said "Yes. Killed by Blackbeard for his devil fruit. I would have gone for someone else but it would seem as though Blackbeard doesn't have the spine to go for that person. Anyway, the point is I want you to work for me. Eventually I will kill Blackbeard myself, subsequently you will be working in information gathering. I won't stop you from searching for Moria but I expect loyalty. If you want to, you can leave after I deal with Blackbeard. What do you think?"

Perona was silent and said "Why me?" Zeus said immediately "Your ghosts can share vision with you and remain hidden. You also have the power to project yourself and go through walls which is something that I value. If you don't agree, you can leave I won't stop you."

Perona thought about it and said "If I find Moria-sama can I stay with him?" Zeus said "You'll die if you stay with him but I guess so. Just crush your snail before you drift onto the afterlife."

Perona said "What does that mean?" Zeus said "Moria is looking for Blackbeard. When he finds him, there's only two options, join or die. What would you pick?" Perona said "I'll never join him!" Zeus nodded and said "You won't be able to escape either, so your only option is to die. Pack up your things and come with me."

Perona said "I don't have any things." Zeus nodded and grabbed her by the waist with one arm and Bonney by the other before disappearing.

A week later

Zeus brought Perona to the conference room and introduced her to the rest before giving her a book and a ghost mask and sending her off with Shiruton. Bonney sat next to Zeus and looked around the room in surprise. From what she saw so far it really was a nice city!

Zeus concluded the meeting and said "Call the top 5 older recruits who have mastered all four techniques and give them the choice of devil fruits. After that spread out the Haki books and Soru and Geppo books to the rest I want them all to know it after 5 months. At least the basics."

The 5 nodded and left, leaving only Bonney, Zeus, and Persephone in the room. Persephone said "Another woman..." Zeus shrugged and said "What can I say? There are at least 4 more on my radar, as for whether the four of them join? I have no idea. These 4 are a gamble."

Persephone felt her head throb and she sighed, Bonney sat on Zeus' lap and said "No guys?" Zeus said "2 guys. One of them we HAVE to get, the other is a meh. If he wants he can, if he doesn't it's not an issue. I still need to find my last Zodiac too."

Persephone kicked his chin and said "Male." Zeus rolled his eyes and said "Yeah, yeah. I get it." Persephone pouted and turned her head away. Bonney was leaning on Zeus' shoulder, her hands on his muscles.

The 2 years changed Zeus slightly.

His muscles were stronger and more prominent, every single one was perfect and bursting with power. His upper right arm had a huge scar from the upper bicep to his shoulder, chest, and neck. His jawline was even more sharp than before and his eye brows were like swords. He still looked exactly like Luffy, but his white hair was longer and peeking out of his hat and his red eyes were deep and soul stirring, mesmerizing anyone who looked into them.

He was also taller now, standing at 6'5.

All in all he was much more mature than before. Taking care of a huge underworld business, pushed his maturity ahead by a bit. It only made him more attractive.

Persephone looked at Zeus with a bitter look and Zeus gave her a calm smile, she clamed down and smiled a bit herself. Zeus leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, soon he had to go to Punk Hazard. He was excited but also thinking about what actions to take.

Time slowly passed by like this until he felt his thunder marks moving again.
