44 A Man's Romance

Zeus and his girls and Sabo and his group arrived at the eastern port as the Destroyer and 2 HMS Victoria ships docked. Zeus looked at the HMS Victoria ships and nodded in satisfaction, soon enough Crocodile, Lucci, Shiruton, and Tesoro along with the rest of the assassins and staff got off the ship and stood in front of Zeus and the rest.

Sabo looked at the ships in shock then looked at the several people in masks before sucking a cold breath of air. Koala and Hack next to Sabo felt a shiver down their spine and looked at Zeus in fear, they didn't know Kronos and Zeus were the same person and what Dragon told them still rang fresh in their minds.

Zeus nodded and said "I made a deal with the Revolutionary army. Leave the weapons and take everything else. If you see gladiators, ignore them." his gaze turned hard on a couple people as he said "If you see 'other' people you recognize, Ignore them too. You know who you are."

Crocodile and Tesoro nodded and left with the staff.

Zeus looked at the assassins and said "All 11 of you along with Void will go to the Smile factory and kill all of Pinkie's grunts inside. If you see little dwarf people around the size of a fist, ignore them too. After all Joker's grunts are dead, steal all the fruits and information, research, and destroy any evidence you may have left behind."

He paused for a moment and said once again "Do not, and I will repeat it again. Do not! Attack the Straw Hats on the island, or I will eliminate you myself. Go!" all 11 assassins and Void staff blurred and disappeared.

Zeus turned to Sabo and said "Like the ship?" Sabo swallowed and said "Never seen one like this before." as he pointed to the Destroyer, Zeus chuckled and said "It's made of metal. The bottom is seastone and there's around 100 cannons on it. Only one in the world, I call it the Destroyer."

Sabo trembled and looked at Zeus in shock before saying "You've been busy huh?" Zeus said quietly "I won't let something happen to my family ever again.." Sabo sighed and patted Zeus shoulder silently. Zeus nodded to Sabo and said "Go do your thing. Oh right! Give me your vivre card."

Sabo ripped off a piece and Zeus stuffed it in his cloud, Sabo nodded and said "See you later!" Zeus waved and the revolutionaries left.

Bonney wrapped her arms around Zeus' arm and said "What now honey?" Zeus spread out his observation haki and said "Now we take care of the problems lurking around here. Oh right! Hold on, I'll be right back." Zeus flashed and reappeared in the Destroyer.

Zeus walked into the holding cell rooms and opened a cell door before putting Sugar inside with a barrel of Grapes. He nodded, closed the door and left.

He reappeared next to Bonney and then wrapped his arm around her waist before disappearing.

When he reappeared he was in front of Trebol and the gladiators, Robin, and Usopp.

Zeus looked at the Gladiators before shooting his haki covered hand into Trebol's body and pulling out Trebol's real body. Trebol panicked and said "Doffy is going to kill you!" Zeus sneered and changed his voice before saying "He doesn't have time to even think about anything going on down here." He spun Trebol around and said "Look, everything he has is disappearing and soon Joker will disappear too."

Trebol trembled and Zeus snickered and said "I'll send you to meet Delinger." before breaking Trebol's neck and throwing him in the water.

Zeus turned around and all the gladiators focused their gazes on him, even Robin and Usopp looked at him. Zeus said "Scram back up to the surface, you're not needed here. You might as well make yourselves useful and attack Pinky for me." he waved and refused to look at Robin or Usopp.

Robin narrowed her eyes but couldn't see through him at all.

Zeus said "Change to your animal form." Bonney turned into a little phoenix and sat on Zeus' shoulder, immediately being recognized by the gladiators. Zeus sneered and left directly by disappearing and the gladiators looked around in confusion but Robin and Usopp pointed up and said "He left through the hole."

The gladiators were stunned and immediately started leaving the underground port through the hole. Robin was silent and Usopp said "What's wrong Robin?" Robin hummed and said "Isn't weird that he was at Sabaody, Punk Hazard, and now Dress Rosa? Once, Twice, maybe a coincidence... but three times is different.."

Usopp thought for a moment before saying "Maybe he's targeting Doflamingo too? Maybe he's an ally!" Robin mused "Maybe..." she looked around at all the people working and saw a few people before gasping and muttering "Crocodile, Mr. 1, and Mr. 2!"

Usopp was spooked and hid behind Robin as he looked over. Crocodile, Daz Bones, and Bentham felt something and looked over, their gazes collided with Robin's almost immediately. Crocodile chuckled and slid his mask halfway showing his grin before sliding it back and getting back to work.

Robin was calmly thinking, when she saw someone appear next to Crocodile to say something, she trembled in disbelief and muttered "Lucci!" Usopp almost fainted and mumbled "What are they doing here?!"

Lucci looked over after Crocodile pointed and saw Robin, he laughed and waved before turning back to Crocodile and saying "Call Kronos and tell him." before disappearing.

Crocodile took out a snail and made a call, ignoring the gladiators and Robin as he was told. He knew who Zeus was so he wasn't surprised.

Robin was not calm anymore and she remembered that someone at the revolutionary army was looking into the disappearances of the CP9 agents but never found them. Here they were long with Crocodile, working under the mysterious Kronos.

She started thinking fast and snapped her fingers saying "The factory! Usopp, use your snail. Tell the rest of the crew to leave the factory alone and get all the Tontattans out immediately!" Usopp was stunned and said "Why?" Robin said quickly "Kronos wants the factory! Get them all out now!"

Usopp trembled and made the call.

Zeus was hovering in the air with Bonney on his shoulder. He surveyed the current battlefield and looked around at every battle, by this time the Gladiators were already out on the surface and rushing to the Palace along with Luffy.

Pica appeared and spoke "You'll never get to Doffy!" there was a long silence before all the gladiators burst out laughing, Zeus was in the air holding his stomach and laughing so hard he was wheezing. His laughter was so loud it echoed around the island.

Pica felt 16,546 veins appear on his forehead and he slapped at Zeus screaming "Stop laughing!" Zeus burst out laughing again and lightly slapped the palm to pieces before pointing at Pica and saying "Hahahaha What the fuck is wrong with you?! HAHAHAHAH!"

The gladiators stopped laughing and swallowed their saliva, what kind of slap was that?! Zeus chuckled a few times while wiping his eyes and said "Alright. I'm gonna laugh to death. Stop." before slowly flying away in the direction of the Smile factory, still chuckling occasionally.

The gladiators watched him go and let out their breaths when he was gone. Cavendish sighed and said "When will I be as handsome as master?" the rest of the gladiators gave him looks of disdain and the group continued on.

Zeus landed at the Smile factory and said "What's the problem?" Persephone pointed and Zeus looked over to see all the guys watching Franky and Senor Pink's battle.

Zeus looked at the girls and said "You can't take care of it yourselves?" Persephone shrugged and Kalifa said "What's the big deal anyway. What is this man's romance thing?" Zeus was silent and Bonney covered her eyes with her wings, knowing what was about to come.

Zeus shook his fist and said "What is life for a man if not full of Romance! To fight a tough opponent till the end and come out on top! To prove yourself as the victor in front of a crowd of people! To not shy away from punches and to throw them back with gusto! This is a MANS ROMANCE!"

The girls slapped their foreheads and the guys nodded, agreeing with Zeus' words.

Zeus coughed and said "Anyway.. GET YOUR FUCKING ASSES INSIDE THAT FUCKING FACTORY AND DO YOUR FUCKING JOBS BEFORE I SEND YOU ALL IN A CAGE AND THROW IT IN THE OCEAN!" the assassins trembled and quickly left into the factory.

Bonney uncovered her eyes and sighed "Why do I like you?" Zeus said seriously "Because I'm extremely handsome, funny, kind, loving, tender, muscular, sexy, handsome, smart-" Bonney quickly said "Okay okay! I get it." knowing that he would go on forever. Zeus chuckled and rubbed Bonney's head softly.

Zeus watched Franky and Senor Pink's fight, until the Tontattans flooded out of the Smile factory and the assassins came out after them with bags, briefcases, and boxes of stuff. Zeus nodded and said "Finished?" The assassins and Void nodded and Zeus said "It's about to end." the guys immediately looked at the fight and the girls rolled their eyes.

Franky sent a barrage of punches, all his fists were black and shooting out air blasts but Senor Pink just stood there with his arms crossed, taking it all without so much as a frown.

Franky stopped and breathed out heavily, somehow, he was a cyborg, maybe he was out of cola? Nobody knew the specifics. Anyway, Senor Pink didn't move but said "Good move." before falling backwards in the same position, unconscious.

Franky closed his eyes and the guys all did the same for a moment before Franky said "What do you want? A fight?!" Lucci, Kaku, Blueno, Jabra, and Kumadori all felt rarin' to go when Zeus coughed behind them. They grumbled and turned around, grabbed their bags, and left. The rest, except Zeus, left as well.

Zeus ignored Franky and walked up to Senor Pink, he stood silently above him, thinking silently. Zeus picked Senior Pink up and slung him over his shoulder before turning around.

Franky said "What are you doing with him! You want to take down a man like him when he's unconscious?!" Zeus stopped and said with his voice changed "A hardboiled man like this.. It would be an insult to let him be captured by the marines. I will give him a new life!"

Franky was stunned but gave a hard look and Zeus stepped away. The scene zoomed out and froze, the words 'A Man's Romance' appeared in the air above the two for a few seconds before the world went back to normal and Zeus disappeared.

Zeus reappeared in the underground port with Senor Pink. He walked with Senor Pink to the boats and the guys gave dignified looks while the girls rolled their eyes. Zeus put Senor Pink into the holding cell next to Sugar's and slapped a seastone cuff on his wrist while saying "Sorry for this." He sat Senor Pink up on a chair and closed the holding cell.

Sugar was awake now and said "Who are you?" Zeus looked at her and said "Kronos." Sugar said "What are you going to do with us?" Zeus said "Pinky probably didn't tell you that your sister was dead right?"

Sugar paled and said "Monet?!" Zeus waved and said "By Pinkie's orders no less." Sugar collapsed to the ground, Zeus paused for a moment and said "Fortunately for you, that's only what happened in Pinkie's perspective."

Sugar looked up and said "Y-You mean.." Zeus nodded and said "I saved her life. She works for me now, her only request was for me to make you grow up. The seastone bracelet is for protective measures, I know your power and I wouldn't even have time to regret if I got turned into a toy. Unfortunately for you, however, I still don't trust you. That bracelet can only be opened by myself, so you will wear it until I think otherwise. Try anything and I won't hesitate to kill you and your sister, no matter how helpful Monet is."

Zeus paused and said "Keep in mind that, I'm only threatening you to protect myself and my subordinates. It's not personal, however, even if we become friends in the future if you burn me I will kill you both. Her before you and then you right after. I'm not a cruel person but I will be if I have to."

He then pointed to Senor Pink and said "I didn't want to cuff him but I have no choice. He will be coming with us. It would be a shame for him to get captured by the marines." Zeus nodded and added "You are in a cage so you don't escape, Pinky is finished. Just stay here quietly and eat your grapes." before walking out of the holding cell room and disappearing.

Sugar was in a daze, too much information for her at once. First Monet was dead, then Monet was alive and thought about herself becoming normal, then that she was joining a new organization, then Doffy was finished. She clenched her small fist and muttered hatefully "Doflamingo!!!" How dare he tell her sister to die for him?! Who was he?!

Zeus returned and said "Potentially have found my Dragon." Persephone clapped and said "Is it that guy with the baby stuff on?" Zeus nodded and said "Don't judge his appearance. There's a reason he wears that all the time..." he paused for a second before saying "It's not a happy one. I suggest you get to know him before you ask. If he joins you all, that is. I'm still not sure but I will send him somewhere safe if he declines."

Persephone was surprised and said "So free?!" Zeus took in a breath and said "He's too hardboiled to be forced to stay somewhere." the guys nodded heavily, respecting Zeus a little bit more than before. The girls felt their eye's twitch and Zeus said "The birdcage is blocking the exit?" Crocodile nodded and said "Yup. Everything has been loaded up. The revolutionaries took the weapons we have everything else."

Zeus nodded and said "Strictly sell the Smile fruits. Do not let our people eat them." Lucci was confused and said "Why?" Zeus said seriously "The smile is a semi-finished product. While it does have Zoan like qualities, the fruit will physically mutate the eater to whatever animal the fruit was. Meaning if you eat a crab fruit, you will grow 2 more sets of legs, your hands will turn to claws, your eyes will extend and you will walk sideways.. Forever."

The entirety of Tartarus shivered and Zeus added "The effect varies from person to person, sometimes it could just be a tail and claws, sometimes the only human thing will be your head. Since it's a variable that I cannot control, don't eat them. Plus..." he hesitated and Crocodile said "Plus what?"

Zeus finally said "If you mutate and it's ugly I might just kill you. I don't like ugly things." The entirety of Tartarus sweat dropped but immediately felt better thinking that they were all not as ugly as they thought. Zeus added "Dog is pretty ugly in his hybrid state but the rest of you are fine."

Jabra almost tripped and snapped "What does that mean?!" Zeus waved and said "It means half of your face is human the other half is wolf. I don't like looking at it." Jabra grumbled and kicked a rock on the deck. Kaku sighed and patted his shoulder in comfort.

Zeus nodded and said "Nobody goes into the holding cell area. She might look like a child but she's actually older than myself. Some of you might not know how old that is, but I can tell you that I am not even 20 yet. Alright! Get everyone on the ships and prepare to leave. I want you all battle ready just in case."

He ignored the shocked looks of the staff and some of the people who knew his real face and said to Crocodile "When the strings lift, immediately go back, unload, and prepare to fight. Hopefully, I alone will be enough but they're pretty insidious so I wouldn't expect anything less."

Crocodile nodded and left, Persephone snuggled up to Zeus and whispered "How old are you?!" Zeus whispered back "19. Still in love with me?" Persephone whispered in reply "Even more than before~"

Zeus gasped and cursed "Vixen!" before flashing away, Persephone giggled before looking at her assassin squad and saying coldly "Stay and protect against unforeseen accidents." before flahsing and disappearing after Zeus.

Olive looked in the direction Persephone left in and said "You think she succeeds in the end?" Carina shook her head and sighed, Stella rubbed her palms together and said "Maybe, but the boss really likes his wife... Leader didn't have a chance from the beginning.."

Zeus reappeared in the air above Dress Rosa with an extra two tailed cat on his shoulder. He watched the battle between Doflamingo and Luffy, it looked like it was coming to a close. Zeus peered into the future and smiled saying "Atta boy." Persephone was confused and Bonney said "How long?"

Zeus said "7 seconds now and in 4, Luffy wins." Persephone was startled and said "You can see the future?" Zeus nodded and said "Extreme Observation Haki." Persephone looked at the battle and just as Zeus had said, Luffy punched Doflamingo into the ground of Dress Rosa, causing the entire island to tremble, before falling to the ground himself.

Persephone was in awe and Zeus flashed into the hole Doflamingo made, not worried about Luffy at all. Law teleported Luffy away instantly and the bird cage dissipated.

Crocodile saw the strings disappearing and ordered a full return to Abyss Island. The three ships sailed away from Dress Rosa, in the confusion, escaping the marines completely.

Zeus landed on top of Doflamingo and stomped on his stomach. Doflamingo coughed out a mouthful of blood and opened his eyes to see Zeus and laughed "Lost?" Zeus nodded and Doflamingo started laughing again.

Zeus said "I'll give you 2 options. Become a toy and give me advice from time to time, or get captured by the marines." Doflamingo laughed hysterically and said "Fuck you." Zeus nodded and said "You like laughing? Want to see something funny?"

Doflamingo was silent and Zeus took off his mask and grinned at him saying "Seems like you have bad luck with our family Mingo." Doflamingo's eyes widened before he started laughing even harder and said "No wonder! Fufufufufufufu Of course!"

Zeus put his mask back on and said "Now sleep well, next time you open you eyes it'll be on a marine holding cell." before punching him in the face, knocking him out completely. Zeus grabbed Doflamingo's body and flashed to the surface.

He dropped Doflamingo to the ground and flashed away, fleeing the scene. It didn't take long for the gears to start turning in Dress Rosa again, Issho captured Doflamingo and called for back up and transport but didn't go after the Straw Hats out of respect for their kind deeds.

Zeus surveyed the Island before finding King Riku and heading for him.

Zeus flashed in front of King Riku and changed his voice as he said "I would like to have a chat, King Riku." Riku was with Viola and Rebecca, he looked at Zeus and frowned, Viola whispered in Riku's ear and Riku nodded before saying "Very well." Zeus nodded and grabbed Riku before disappearing.
