Having a good year 1/2

The 8th of October in 2009

Once the first month of school was over, Gwen's position in the group was established and stable. A few things changed: for once, everyone was dressed nicely; Peter had someone else to talk science with who understood more sophisticated sciences; and most importantly, Witch Harry and Peter became uncomfortable due to the amount of teasing the guys get from Aunt May for having girls over at the house.

Due to the fact that Christopher Columbus Day fell on a Friday this year, Harry and Gwen decided it would be a good idea to take advantage of the long weekend by remaining in New York City to attend a popular underground music festival. MJ and Harry were able to secure passes that would let us access the park for the entirety of the weekend. Officer Stacy, Gwen's father, spent the weekend with Aunt May and the rest of us serving as chaperones. Because they were afraid that Ned would get wounded, Ned's family almost said no. Before they would let him leave, everyone of us had to go meet them and make a promise that we would watch after him.

The 9th of October, 2009

Everyone gets together at Qwen's house at 8:00 in the morning in order to carpool to the hotel where they are staying. They collected their belongings and knocked on the door as soon as they stepped out of Aunt May's car.

Howard, Gwen's younger brother, opened the door. "What's up, Peter and Julian?"

"Hey, Howard, is everyone here?"

"Everyone else but Ned and Harry."

"Ok"

After entering the house with Aunt May, they go to greet MJ while sitting in the front room. After twenty minutes, Ned walks through the door, and just as Peter is about to phone Harry, the three of them get a text informing them that he and his father will meet them at the hotel. After saying their goodbyes, everyone piled into the SUV and headed towards the hotel, which was conveniently located near the festival and directly adjacent to Central Park.

After arriving at the hotel, they find Harry and his father waiting for them in the lobby. Following the exchange of pleasantries, Norman informs us that he has upgraded the hotel rooms that we are staying in to the presidential suite.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Osborn, but that was completely unnecessary." Peter informs him.

"Don't be ridiculous; if you're going to stay at a hotel, you might as well choose the one that's rated the highest. Now that I've said my goodbyes, I hope that Harry has a wonderful weekend, and it was great to see you, Peter, and everyone again. "I'm sorry, but I have to leave; I hope Harry has a good weekend, and it's great to see you, Peter, and everyone again," he said. "Oh, and I also hope that the field trip to Oscorp in November will be fun for all of you."

Julian mutters, "What a prat!" in disgust. Because Norman was always putting too much focus on him and Peter, and because Norman was always saying that Peter would be the next great scientist like him, Julian never trusted him since he had the impression that there was something odd about him.

Following check-in and the selection of rooms, we make our way to a nearby restaurant for a meal before making our way to the festival grounds. Once there, we split up with MJ, Harry, and Ned, and Mr. Stacy makes his way to the rock and roll section. With the goal of playing music, Qwen, Perter, and Julian travel to a location where Tesla coils have been set up so you can play the songs you want.

So for the next two days they enjoyed the activities there, and on the final day MJ wanted to go to the adjacent museums to look around, and with everyone else having their ears hurting from all the loud music, they joined, but they would be back for the final event with AC/DC playing because it was the last thing they wanted to see.

After spending the day seeing various locations, the group returns to the celebration for the closing ceremony. Following an incredible performance that was capped off with fireworks, we all travel back to the hotel, where we will spend the remaining hours of the night hanging out without the parents. We placed an order for pizza and ice cream, and much to the chagrin of everyone else, MJ brought some scary movies for us to watch.

At the very end, everyone dozed out, with Qwen clinging to Peter for dear life as she experienced the most intense levels of terror. On the couches, Ned, Harry, and MJ made their own sleeping arrangements. As for Julian, the most responsible member of the group who was also the last person awake to help clean up and put blankets on everyone, everyone was in a hurry to get up and ready for school in the morning, and they traveled from the motel to Midtown High School. Everyone is worn out because they were awake for the majority of the night.

However, everyone was of the opinion that it was well worth it.
