7 Chapter 7)

Ryan woke to the sound of the bell, sitting on his desk was a paper with a sticky note that said homework, stuffing it in his bag he took his things and left. While leaving he noticed some people trying to talk to Rosalie, but she politely and somewhat rudely told them to leave her alone, which made him laugh some.

Going into the halls it parted slightly for him as he made his way to the next class, as he was leaving he did notice Alice and Jasper walking out of another room. Alice sent him a wave, that he ignored, just because everyone else wanted to be their friends didn't mean he did, he was still up for ignoring them.

Though he wondered how long it would take before people started to ignore them, most likely the same amount of time it took for them to push everyone away.

------

The day was slow and besides his first class Ryan didn't have any with the rest of the coven, which was something he was happy about. Though he did pass them in the halls and was annoyed that Edward kept glaring at him, it was getting to the point that Ryan was considering putting a bomb in the guys car.

He was sure that he could get away with it, there was no way that his system wouldn't help him learn skills on criminal activities, in the Sims you could be one after all. Sighing he took another big hit of his weed, it was lunch again and he was hungry, though that might have to do with the fact that he had smoked in between classes.

Smiling he finished it off before walking into the cafeteria, as he did so all talk seemed to stop, it only took one look for him to realize why all talk did. As everyone looked between him and his table, at the moment which was occupied by none other then the Cullens.

They seemed to figure something out because they also all looked over at him, sighing he walked to his table seeing that one seat was still available, he wasn't giving up his table, not even for them. Ignoring the looks and whispers he took the seat that was between Alice and Rosalie as he brought out his food, that seemed to make the noise return.

From the side of his eye he could see the people around the table stiffen a moment, but they didn't say anything as they watched him bring out his food he cooked. He had taken to making Bentos to help store his food, he had the whole weeks worth plus snacks so he was always ready.

Digging into his cucumber sandwiches he ignored the glares from Edward and Rosalie, the constipated look Jasper had, the happy smile Alice had, the little chuckle Emmett gave and the questioning look he got from... Well he didn't know her, she was someone new, but she did look like the girl version of Edward.

Twenty minutes went by in silence before he couldn't take it anymore, "Is there a reason you all feel the need to stare at me?"

It was Alice who asked but it was in a super happy voice as she did so, "Well me and my siblings just aren't use to someone sitting with us. Let alone someone who has half the school looking at you like they are prepared for you to freak out."

He nodded, "Its cause your at my table."

"Your table?" Rosalie asked with some heat in her voice.

"Yes my table. There is a reason when you all came in here this was the only empty table, it is mine plain and simple. I don't talk to the people here much because they annoy me since I am an out of towner who moved in, after awhile it wore off and they knew not to sit with me." Ryan answered as he went back to eating his food.

"Oh you're not from Forks then?" Alice asked again, he was sure she would be the one who would be talking the most out of everyone at the table. She was the friendliest besides Emmett out of them.

Ryan sighed as he finished his food putting away the container and grabbing another family sized bag of chips, "No. I moved here towards the end of summer this year, my parents are lawyers working in Seattle at the moment, their firm sent them there. I didn't want to be in the city so they bought a place here."

"Oh is that why we didn't meet them yesterday? We were wondering why no one came home last night." Alice said with a sunny smile, he was actually finding it hard to ignore her.

Ignoring her though he just ate his food, well that is until his phone rang, taking it out his pocket he saw that it was Leah, "Hey care-bear, what's happening?" he joked.

There was a moment of pause before she laughed a little, though he could tell that she was holding in tears, "That is the last time you call me that or I swear you will lose that thing between your legs." she said while sniffling.

"What's wrong?" He asked getting serious and putting his chips down, he knew that no matter where he went they would hear him so he didn't bother to leave the table.

There was another pause before she spoke, this time she broke down though, "Nothing just some stupid girls who were friends with me and Emily but they are blaming me and taking Emily's side. Also they are saying that Sam was smart to leave me, can you believe they called me the bitch?"

Ryan laughed a little, "I don't know sometimes..."

"Ryan, I swear to whoever you believe in that if you finish that sentence I will kill you." she laughed but there was real heat in her voice. He could see around the table that some of them were trying their best to hold in smiles, except Edward who had a questioning look on his face.

"Sure thing buttercup. Seriously though, do I need to come get you or anything?" He asked while popping a chip into his mouth.

She sighed on the other side, "No it is enough that you are just there to listen. I am at lunch at the moment, do you mind staying on the phone with me. I don't want to talk, I just want.... to feel together again."

Ryan gave a small smile even if she couldn't see him, why she didn't video call him he didn't know, well maybe because she had been crying, "Anything for you Leah. I am currently eating this family sized bag of chips so you can sit there and listen to me crunch on those."

She laughed loudly, "Did you really smoke before lunch?"

"Leah! How dare you ask something like that, of course I did, I smoke every day before lunch. Weird thing is that no teacher has caught me, despite me not going into the woods that are right next to the school." He said with a wide smile.

Emmett laughed then with the girl in his arms giggling some too as she smacked his stomach. Alice also gave a small laugh while the last three just shook their heads.

"Only you get away with stuff like that. No clue how you are on the basketball team though, I mean you have had to fail your drug test." She said with another laugh.

"Trade secret I'm afraid."

"Of course it is." she laughed sounding more like the best friend he knew.

"Hey Ryan!" A voice called as a girl walked over to their table, everyone was quiet as Jessica arrived at the table.

"What?" Ryan asked his face going back to indifference as Jessica sent him a wide smile.

"I was wondering if you are coming to my party Saturday? I know you don't usually answer and just show if you are going to show but you know I wanted to do something special if you are." She said with a smile before addressing the Cullens, "Oh you guys are totally invited too if you want to come."

As she was saying that though she was looking really hard at Edward, who turned his head no doubt hearing the thoughts that were going on in her head at that moment.

"Tell her yes. I could use a night out after all of this going on, you can watch me as I get super wasted, though we will have to bring Seth or he would tell on me. We can even stay at your place after so my mom and dad don't catch us." Leah said in his ear as all he did was look at Jessica.

Ryan knew that her special thing was sleeping with him, the way she spoke and looked at him just screamed that, but he had no plans for that. Jessica was a clinger and he wasn't going to deal with that.

"Sure I will be there." Ryan said drawing Jessica's stare from Edward who was looking really uncomfortable by the way that he was being stared at by her.

"Great! This is going to be the best party ever, will you all be coming too." Jessica said with a wide smile as she looked at everyone else at the table.

"We will be there." Rosalie said apparently taking everyone but Edward and the girl Emmett was holding by surprise as she was glaring at Jessica as she answered for them all.

Ryan didn't know what was going on or really care, he tuned them out as he finished his food, he had just checked the time and saw that it was getting closer for lunch to almost be over. That meant he would need to go to basketball, which meant moving a lot, and while he slept in all his past classes he actually had to do something in that one.

He acted as if he didn't see Rosalie turn and look at him either as Jessica walked away with a bounce in her step as she did so. Them agreeing to go to her party would just make her that much popular, seeing as he knew they might never go to another one after this.

The Twilight series took place over less then two years, meaning that the moment Bella showed things would move along quick for them.

Shaking his head he went back to his conversation with Leah while acting as if he didn't see Rosalie looking at him for the rest of lunch, "YAY Party! This means I need to go shopping." He heard Alice say from next to him, that caused some sighs though.
