Chapter 47): So About That One Vampire!

"....So want to explain this?" Leah asked him later that night after the party as they both stood in his room at the foot of his bed.

Ryan hummed, "Not much to explain, but I can try. I was hunting vampires who were killing college students who were going to their 'haunted house' but was basically just a place to eat them. She was there and instead of being completely eaten she was injected with a ton of venom instead.

At the moment I burned the house down I figured to hell with it and brought her along, wasn't her fault she was being attacked after all."

"Also it is because she is a beautiful girl, right?" Leah said her voice teasing.

He chuckled, "Honestly, I didn't even notice. I just didn't think it was right for her to die that way, I figured I would wait for her to come back as a vampire. When she did I would feed her then take her to the Cullens so they could explain, from there she could choose if she wanted to continue being a vampire or be killed."

"Huh." Leah said before nodding, "Alright, well I am going to shower and then we are going to sleep so please move her into the guest room."

Ryan shrugged and did that, he could feel that her skin was already freezing cold, though with his body it really wasn't that different from a normal temperature as he evened it out. After laying her down he walked into his room to see Leah drying her hair, "Hurry and shower and join me, you might just get lucky if you do." With a wink she waved him off.

Needing no promoting he ran to do just that, he knew it was just her teasing but he still went along with it, because he did like holding her at night anyway.

(Three Days Later)

Ryan yawned as he basically inhaled a bag of family sized chips, four Chick-fil-A spicy sandwiches, and two large pizzas, of course this was half because he was high and half because he was still a growing boy after all. Leah sat next to him as they watched the 'Barbie' movie, he was actually enjoying it but they should have just called it Barbie and Ken since Ken was such a big part of it too.

If anything Ken learned way more about himself before Barbie did, they actually spent way to much focus on him in Ryan's opinion, but still it was good overall.

While they were watching the movie Ryan's ear twitched, looking up he heard the flicker of the vampires eyes open, "Well, looks like my guest is awake." He stated when he felt Leah looking at him.

"Oh good, let's see what her decision is. Because honestly for a moment there i really thought you just had a dead girl sleeping in that bed for days." She said with a slight laugh.

Ryan chuckled but stood and led her up the stairs, when they reached the door he took out three apples from his inventory, but they weren't ordinary apples.

Opening the door they both walked into the room, the moment they did they saw the girl whop her head to them, "What's happened to me?" She asked her voice panicked.

Ryan made sure Leah stayed behind him as he threw and apple her way, "Eat this first, once you do then we can talk."

The girl who he was finally getting a good look at now caught the apple which he threw at her, as she was eating he racked his brain as she looked really familiar but he couldn't place where he had seen her before. It wasn't in this world he had seen her but as an actress maybe, it wasn't to clear in his mind but he was trying his hardest to remember, it was on the tip of his tongue.

Internally snapping his fingers he finally figured it out, she looked like a twin of Camila Mendes, he could only remember seeing the first season of Riverdale with her, that show wasn't his cup of tea really.

They both watched as she bit into the apple a moan leaving her lips, Ryan was watching her eyes though he wanted to see the shift in the color from her essentially drinking his blood. He didn't know what was going to happen to her from drinking it, he had put the blood as apart of the apples when he was human, but it was registering as his wolf blood.

Finally after eating the apple it was an immediate effect as her eyes went a orange tint, it was not fully red or golden, no it was stuck in between the two making a blood orange like looking at a sunset. Ryan hummed as he saw that, he would have to wait and see her eat more but he was pretty sure it would be stuck that way, it was a mixture of his two bloods after all so he wasn't expecting it to be anything else.

"Can you tell me what is happening now? I-I can't remember anything after entering that house last night...it's like my memories are gone after that." She said with mild distress in her voice as she spoke.

Ryan sighed while walking over to take a seat on his bed, Leah followed him holding his hand not letting go for a moment, he knew from the sound of her accelerated heartbeat that she was nervous about the girl. He couldn't blame her either, this girl was still a newborn after all, so she would be kind of stupid to think that everything was okay.

"Hmm I can help but tell me, what is your name? I need the basic information about you before I help you." Ryan said wanting to know a little more about her first.

She licked her lips nodding, "My name is Carly Simon, I am twenty-one years old and a junior at The University of Washington I am a PreMed student."

Ryan nodded it was enough that if she went on a rampage in killing or ran away to somewhere familiar he would find her, "Alright, well let me introduce myself and my girlfriend here. My name is Ryan and this is Leah, we live in this town, now as for what has happened to you, well it is simple. You are now a vampire."

There was a dead silence in the room as all she did was watch them, "And?"

He blinked, he was expecting her to be shocked or something but apparently she wasn't, "Okay, well there is not much to say after that. Well you are I guess a vampire that you don't see in typical lore, for one you can go into the sunlight but you will shine like a disco ball.

You can drink human or animal blood, but if you choose human then I suggest that you don't just go on a spree or anything, because that won't end well. The kings of your kind will more then likely hunt you if you try that."

"The kings?" She asked with a raised brow.

Ryan sighed, "Come on follow me. I would rather a group of vampires explain this to you rather then me, I really don't want to explain it myself, I know they would be more willing to take you in making this all easier for you."

She nodded, "Can I get some new clothes first? These are...well torn."
