16 Chapter 15): I'm Going Through Changes!

Ryan yawned as he walked out the school building, he was carrying his helmet rather then having it in his bag, he didn't need to be stopped by the chief again on his way home, he didn't really need to drive fast now. "You looked good out there, the game is tomorrow right?" A soft voice asked coming up behind him.

Stopping he turned to look to find Rosalie there, raising an eyebrow he sighed, "Look, I really appreciate the food from earlier, should have really thought ahead there. But we still aren't technically friends."

Rosalie set her mouth, "Yes, but you did say that if I needed anything just ask."

"No, that was high Ryan."

"Aren't you always high?"

He paused but didn't say anything else but cough while looking away, "So, is there something you want then?"

She looked at him hard for a moment before shaking her head, "No, there isn't really anything I can think of off the top of my head. It isn't a time limited thing is it?"

Ryan shook his head as he walked off the conversation wasn't moving forward anyway, and she seemed to just want to keep him around which is something he didn't want to deal with at the moment. As he walked towards his bike his guy wrenched, Ryan bent over in pain as it felt as if someone just hit his stomach with a baseball bat.

[Time until bloodline fused: 15minutes]

His eyes wide as he saw the notification, with fast but steady movements he made his way to his bike right as Rosalie was about to grab his arm to help him, he ignored her and got on the bike. Throwing his helmet on he sped off, he didn't notice Rosalie rushing to her car it didn't matter to him either as he knew he needed to get home before his new bloodline kicked in.

His eyes began to get fuzzy as he arrived at his house, he parked the bike while stumbling inside dropping his helmet right outside his door, stumbling he reached the stairs of the basement when he felt as though he was hit by a truck. Ryan's body went tumbling down the stairs his eyes closing, his bones began to break as he hit the bottom floor groaning.

Snapping was heard and it was so painful that he couldn't even scream out, his body thrashed as his clothes began to tear from his body taking on a different shape and growing.

Being in the pain he was Ryan didn't notice the flashing of his phone from a call, he also didn't hear the frantic closing of a car door nor the pounding of someone at the front door calling out to him. He was lost in his own world at the moment as his body was going through changes.

His arms and legs began to extended as silver fur began to take over those areas, his chest area enlarging as it also grew a coat of silver fur, his face began to shift as his canines extended. Ryan was huffing as his body broke down and regrew into a nine foot tall silver wolf, his body fit perfectly in the basement but his head was just shy of hitting the roof of it.

Ryan's red eyes were glowing as he took in the new movement of his body, he felt powerful and his senses were currently going off the roof, he could even smell whoever was at the door. They were letting out a very sweet smell, it tickled his nose in a funny way, it wasn't bad, but at the same time it wasn't pleasant either.

(Outside Door POV)

Rosalie was getting nervous and a little angry, if she wasn't worried he would hate her she would break down the door at this moment, she could hear his heartbeat inside but he wasn't answering the door. When she showed and saw his helmet outside along with his keys still in his bike she knew she was right to follow him, he just seemed weird when he left earlier.

She glared intensely at the door as she just knocked again but heard no movement of him coming near it.

The sound of a car driving up had her turning, she glared again as she saw the same girl from last night driving his car to the house, she knew this was one of the girls from the Rez. She held in her anger as the door was parked and the beautiful girl stepped out looking panicked, she stopped though and they stared at one another.

"Who are you?" Leah asked as she saw the beautiful blonde standing at her best friends door.

"Who are you?" Rosalie asked back as she glared at the girl.

"I asked you first and I am the one driving Ryan's mom's car, so it is you who needs to answer." Leah said as she held the keys tightly in her hands not minding the pain they caused as she held them tightly. She felt threatened by the girl in front of her and her body started to shake and heat up some.

Rosalie growled but held herself back from attacking the girl, "I am Rosalie Hale, his neighbor. Ryan bolted from school earlier like he was in pain or something I just came to check up on him."

Leah moved past her hearing her words, "Oh, well I am Leah his best friend. I tried calling and he didn't answer, and he always answers so I came to check on him. He was sick last night too, so maybe it is acting up again."

Leah didn't wait for a response from Rosalie as she opened the door with the keys, they weren't just the car keys either, Ryan had given her a house key so she could always get in. She smiled at that now that it came in use, she also felt a little smug since Rosalie didn't have one but clearly was jealous she had one.

The door opened and Leah walked in with Rosalie right behind her, they both froze eyes wide at what they saw inside.

(Ryan's POV)

"Yo." Ryan said with a smirk as he stood at the bottom of the stairs with nothing but a towel on water still dripping from his chest, Leah was blushing while Rosalie if human looked as if she would be doing the same.

"R-ryan why didnt you answer your phone?" Leah called out looking away but she kept watching him from the side of her eye.

Ryan smiled lightly, he had changed back quickly as he heard Leah pull up, he was in complete control of himself so he didn't have to worry about calming anger or anything like that, he saw it as a major boom. He also noticed when Leah and Rosalie walked in he didn't Imprint on either one of them, he was slightly disappointed but did not let it show as he smiled at Leah.

"Sorry Leah, I puked a little earlier. Had to take a shower, couldn't hear my phone over the sound of the shower. What are you doing here?" He finished while addressing Rosalie who was finally willing to look at him.

"Well, I saw you rush from school....I just wanted to make sure you were ok." She said glancing at everything but him.

He hummed nodding, "Since your here do you want to ride with me to the store for the cheese? I am missing two for my dip."

Leah beamed and nodded her head, "Yeah, that sounds like fun, maybe now I can steal that recipe you keep hidden."

He laughed shaking his head, "Well let me go get dressed then we can head out, we are limited on time here."

"Wait!" Rosalie called out and they both looked at her as she mini glared at them, "Can I come too?"

"Is this you calling in that favor?" Ryan asked raising a brow, he wouldn't let her come unless it was for that. While he was disappointed that he didn't Imprint on Leah it didn't mean he was just going to accept Rosalie either, he still wasn't into the whole cold and dead thing.

Freaking necrophiliacs, he shuddered.

The only way he could accept that is if he died naturally and she brought him back as a vampire, like if he was dying of some disease cause he was pretty sure they couldn't bring him back if he was already dead.

Rosalie bit her lip but he saw her glance at Leah before nodding, "Yes, this is me calling it in."

"Sure, whatever then." He said nodding heading up the stairs, looking back he saw Leah following him and rolled his eyes, the girl obviously wanted to show Rosalie how close they were. He didn't know if it was because she felt something for him or because it was the fact that she wanted to show how she was his best friend but he allowed it.

Going into his room he pulled on some boxers before she could walk in then began to pull up his pants as she did so, "Why did you invite her?! I thought it was just going to be us." Leah pouted sitting on his bed.

"Because she got me lunch today and I offered her one request in return. I just didn't think she would waste it on this, plus who cares it isn't as if she is going to the bonfire with us tonight." Ryan shrugged as he put on his black sweater.

Leah sighed but nodded, "Fine, but I expect you to get me as high as possible tonight. Sam will be there tonight and I still can't handle being around him right now."

Ryan nodded, "Sure thing."

Throwing an arm over her shoulder he led her out the room and down the stairs, Rosalie was typing on her phone but put it away as they reached her. She took in their position and glared her said nothing, Ryan rolled his eyes taking the keys from Leah as he led them all outside.
