Chapter 9

(30 minutes later.)

"Police siren."

"Jade, you should probably try and make yourself look sad and disheveled, technically we were coming up here to have fun and found a dead body."

Jade looks at me and rolls her eyes she puts her arms around me and puts her head on my chest.

"Does this work?" she asks.

I chuckle. "Yea, your perfect, want a treat?" I say.

She lets go of me and steps in front of me and kicks me in one balls.

I fall to my knees grasping for air at this point the police cruiser pulls up beside us and a man hops out.

"Is he ok?" a tall man with a mustache says.

"H-He got sick when he saw the body," Jade says.

I look up and I see it's Charlie.

"C-Charlie it's Waylon, H-He's D-Dead." as I say this I can see Charlie's face start to go pale.

Charlie gets up and starts to walk toward the body.

"You to go ahead and head back to school." Charlie says while heading inside the Marina.

I finally am able to get off my knees, I stand up and glare at Jade she notices me and starts to smirk I walk to her and put my arm around her shoulder, we start to walk back to the school, taking our time to get back. We ended up staying in the forest till the end of school.

We arrived in the parking lot of the school I see Jake and Bella talking to each other while laughing, Jade and I walk to where the Cullens are.

"How many were there?" Edward asks.

There was three the red head and the other guy got away, I think there is something off about the red head she said she could sense us coming I feel that maybe she has the ability to predict danger or something like that." I say while tying my shoe.

"SKRRRRRT"

We all look up and see a black van sliding toward Bella and Jake, I look at Edward but he does nothing, I look back at Jake and Bella, Jake is now grabbing Bella he sticks his arm out and the Van bounces off his arm.

"CRACK"

We hear multiple bones get snapped in Jake arm, I look at Jade.

"Call your dad," I say before running to Jake.

When I get there I see that Bella is huddled up to Jake's chest while Jake's arm is completely snapped, his ulna and radius have completely caved in on themselves.

Bella and I make eye contact.

"Are you ok?" I ask.

"Y-Yes Im fine, b-but Jake." Bella says concerned for her friend.

I look at Jake and see that his arm is already trying to heal.

"Jake you know what I'm going to have to do don't you?" I ask.

he nods.

I grab his arm and hold it and keep it from healing.

Bella just stares at me while I continue to rebrake his arm.

"AHHHH"

I lift him up and we start to walk back to the Cullens once we get there I stuff Jake into Jade's car and we drive to the Hospital, Carlisle is the only one who can help he's going to have to rebrake his bones so he can set his arm so it can heal properly.

After Jake was done at the hospital he wanted to go and check on Bella we were about to walk into her hospital room but Charlie and her walked out, I can tell Charlie thought the worst when he heard about Bella being in a wreck which I understand because he just lost one of his old friends and now Bella Randomly gets in a wreck even I would be scared if I was him.

Bella makes eye contact with Jake, Charlie says he will have to go sign some papers, Bella starts to walk toward us.

"She's gonna wanna know how you stopped the Van and how why I kept Breaking your arm." I whisper to Jake.

"what should I say?" Jacob asks me, but I already turned around and left, I look over my shoulder and see Jake's face it is full of betrayal.

I start to chuckle.

I find Jade and tell her that I am going to go back to talk to my dad, before I left I looked over my shoulder and said get ready Sunday you and I are going to go and get you a dress and me a suit for prom I left after that not waiting for a response.

(15 minutes later.)

I arrive at my dads house I see that Sam, Leah and Jared are there. I walk inside and Billy asks.

"Where is Jake?"

"He's dealing with Bella he will be fine." I say.

"Why is everyone here?" I ask.

"Well I was at school and my friend Paul Lahote, has started his phasing." Jared says.

"Are you sure?" I ask.

"Yes, he snapped at the teacher for something very small, I sit next to him I could feel the heat radiating off of his body." Jared says.

"Ok, let's go find him and tell him what he is, good job keeping an eye out, Sam you and Leah go on patrol until Jared and I get done." I say while walking out the door with Jared.

"Lucian, I want to meet her." I hear Billy say I just left with out responding.

Jared and I head to Paul's house he lives alone in the middle of nowhere so this will be easy enough.

"KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK"

Jared knocks on the door while I stand back and wait, Paul opens the door I see him he is sweating heavily.

"Yea, you where right he's about to phase." I say while looking at Jared.

We explain what is going on and why he is feeling like shit, we tell him about the Spirit warriors and cold ones.

"Do you two think I am stu-" Before he could finish I already Phased in front of him, after he sees me I nod to Jared and let him finish explaining.
