Alaska

The next thing he knew, Lucas was already on a plane heading straight for Alaska. His flight was nice, much better than the ones to Forks. There were no screaming babies, no drama, just him and Jasper enjoying each other's company.

The flight didn't last very long only about two hours when he got there he was greeted by The Denali coven.

After they explain the situation he was accepted there with open arms. He was greeted inside their beautiful house it was made mostly of wood and glass.

The first night he spent there was peaceful and relaxed, they fed on some animals in the woods and told stories.

Lucas learned a lot about Jasper that the movies never mentioned. For example, he learned that Jasper wanted to be a philanthropist and wanted to create orphanages across the world.

At that moment Lucas realized he never really had a dream. Lucas decided that although ambitious he wanted to overthrow the Voulturi to create world full of vegetarian vampires, make peace with the shifters, and overall make the world a safer place.

Though he realized it was most likely a fools dream, and that it would be near impossible to achieve; he decided the over time he would complete his dream.

But to accomplish this dream of his he needs to get stronger, much stronger, not for himself, but for his dream, the ones he love, and this world.

The next morning Jasper took them out and said "We're going to begin with testing your control." Jasper produced a vial of human blood.

Lucas saw red he sped towards Jasper with inhuman speed, but once he realized who he was running towards, and what was happening he stopped. He was just inches from jasper. Jasper put away the vial.

Jasper said "Pretty good for a newborn. Again!"

Lucas was training at a rate that was much faster than Jasper had expected. if Lucas continued at this rate that he was going to be able to control himself by mid-week.

By that wednesday, mid-week, he almost had complete control.

But then something went wrong, this time when Jasper took Lucas out hunting for elk, he smelt blood, human blood.

A mountain climber on a nearby mountain fell 6 feet and broke his leg. His leg was bleeding profusely.

Lucas immediately charged over there followed by Jasper.

Lucas would have outran Jasper, but he realized what he was doing and slowed to his pace, as he couldn't quite control himself.

Once the climber came into sight Lucas froze. He not only had control but he kept repeating 'Be like Bella, Be strong for Jasper, Be like Bella, Be strong for Jasper...'

He gave Jasper just enough time to catch him and hug him, then drag him back.

Once back at the Denali's home he had them help the climber while he proceeded to calm Lucas down.

But because of the incident Lucas was parched, he sunk his fangs into Jasper from behind. Jasper told him "It's alright, do it as long as you need." And he did for what seemed like hours.
