The Holy Son is Going OUT to Practise?

Jiang Hou returned to his room on the Holy Son's Peak. He didn't need to pack anything. Whatever he would need for this adventure was already in his Storage Ring. The rest would be arranged by the Clan and his Master.

So, Jiang Hou slept peacefully once again since he recovered from his unconscious state.

Early the next morning, the Holy Land was buzzling. 

"What is happening today?", one disciple who just woke up in a daze because of the noise asked someone beside him.

"The Holy Son is going out to Practise outside the Holy Land", answered that disciple.

"What? The Holy Son is going out to practise? Since when did the Holy Son start going out to Practise?", he continued to ask.

"Why don't you go and ask him? If you don't have anything better to do, don't disturb my peace", that disciple said angrily. "We are both Outer Court Disciples, why are you asking me about something even Inner Disciples and Direct Disciples don't know?', he thought to himself as he looked at the crowd before him.

At dawn today, a disciple came shouting towards the Outer Court of the Holy Land, "The Holy Son is going to travel the world, come out and see him off at the Holy Land's Gate! The Holy Son is going to travel the world, Come out and see him off at the Holy Land's Gate! The Holy Son is…". 

He circled round the entire Outer Court and made sure every corner of the Holy Land's Outer Court heard the news. 

When they reached the Gate of the Holy Land, they found out that it's not only in the Outer Gate. Someone did the same thing in the Inner Gate. Most of the Core Disciples and Direct Disciples were also present.

Even Personal Disciples were not left out. Although only some of them came. It verified the authenticity of the news.

So here they are. The whole Gate area was packed with cultivators of the Outer Court, and the Inner Court. Outer Court Disciples are dressed in White Robes, both male and female with the scarlet "Sky" embedded on the left chest area.

Inner Court Disciples wore Green Robes, with the same scarlet "Sky" embedded on the left Chest area.

Core Disciples and Direct Disciples wore Blue Robes. And Personal Disciples wore Purple Robes.

They were standing before the Gate that led outside the Holy Land at this time, each wanting to see the illustrious Holy Son of the Holy Land going out to practise in the outside world.

But if one were to look down from above, they'll find that the disciples were not just packed together. They are in a particular array.The White robed Outer Court Disciples formed the frontier, they are the most excited to see the Holy Son of their Holy Land. Behind them are the Green Robed Inner Court Disciples, they are excited too, but they've been in the Holy Land for a while and don't have much enthusiasm like the Outer Court Disciples.

Behind the Inner Court Disciples are the fewer Core Disciples and Direct Disciples. They are scattered in their few hundreds over at the third line. And the less than 10 Personal Disciples that came stood at the rear.

They were quietly waiting for the arrival and departure of the Holy Son. The Holy Son didn't make them wait for long too. For most of the disciples here today, they have not seen the Holy Son since they joined the Holy Land. Fewer have seen him from a distance. And fewer have seen him up close.

In a towering Silver Flying Ship, with lifelike pictures of Dragons, and Phoenixes and other Divine beasts engraved on its right side, and a visible "SKY HOLY SON" written on the left side, and Jiang Hou's figure standing at the bow of the ship, arrived at the Gate.

Jiang Hou, standing at the bow of the ship, clothed in a luxurious Silver robe that has scarlet embroidery, looked at the many Junior Brothers and Sisters below and smiled. He was not surprised that such a scene would appear before him. Since he became the Holy Son, anything related to him would cause a sensation throughout the Holy Land, and even beyond.

Beside him stood his Master, Jian Wushuang, and behind him are Jiang Muchen, and three other figures whose auras are heavy. They are the three retainers Jian Wushuang is sending with Jiang Hou this time. 

And behind these ones, are the Zhao brothers, they insisted on following Jiang Hou. And since their cultivation has improved a bit, they can take this time to go out of the Holy Land and practise too. They may be lucky enough to obtain great opportunities.

Apart from the Zhao brothers, there are servants, male and female, accompanying the Holy Son in his adventure. They are to cater to his needs regarding food and drink. Powerful people are like that. Especially in the Cultivation world. They know they don't need to eat anymore, but they still stick to it, to relish the taste and reminisce.

There are also some guards from the clan who were sent by his father, Jiang Chen. There are 12 of them, all Peak Stage King Realm Experts. Since nobody knows his actual cultivation level, they sent with him people most suitable for his safety at the Half-step Integrated Union Realm.

"Look! It's the legendary Holy Son's Flying Ship", one of the Outer Court Disciple at the front said.

"Wow, it's so grand", another said.

"Why is it Legendary?", someone asked.

"That, I don't know. I only heard it from someone else and thought it appropriate to say it out loud", answered the first person, embarrassedly.

Others looked at him speechlessly. 'If you don't know, why talk about it?', they thought.

From their rear, the voice of an Inner Disciple came, "It's called legendary because it is a mid-grade Saint King Rank Spiritual Treasure. It was bestowed on the Holy Son by the Great Elder when he became his disciple"

"Saint King Rank Spiritual Treasure?!", one of the Outer Sect Disciple exclaimed.

"Tha..tah..ahsk..", one even spoke incoherently.

"What? Dumbfounded? You should be. I was like you, and even more stupefied when I witnessed it myself that year. The ceremony was so grand! Even the Holy Sons from other Holy Lands were envious of such a luxury", the Inner Disciple continued.

Another Inner Disciple also said, "Who wouldn't be envious. If you can possess that, and have enough Spirit Stones, you can even steal from an Intermediate Saint King Realm expert! Isn't that awesome?"

"What's going on with your mind? Are you that foolish? Or are you crazy? Do you want to steal from a Saint King Realm expert?", someone scolded him.

"A..a,... Anyways, what I'm saying is that, with that Flying Ship, your safety will be guaranteed for a long time, if you have Spirit Stones", the disciple continued.

"You'd probably have to rub the grave of a Quasi-Emperor or a Great Emperor to have enough Spirit Stones to use the Treasure once right? Saint Grade Treasures like this don't work by Spirit Stones but Energy Crystals!", another disciple said.

"Leave him. He was probably dreaming about female cultivators when the Outer Court Deacon was giving a lecture on "Common Knowledge of the Cultivation World", some shouted from the back.

The disciple who said he could steal from a Saint King with the Treasure became embarrassed immediately, and he left that region, hiding himself in the crowd to avoid the spotlight.

The other disciples laughed when they saw him escaping in shame.

"Thank you, Master. I will be sure to keep my life and return safely", Jiang Hou responded.

Looking at his disciple 'dotingly', Jian Wushuang 'sighed', then said, "Alright, you can leave now. You can also address your Junior Brothers and Sisters before leaving", with that, he disappeared.

Jiang Hou heaved a sigh when his Master left. He was really afraid that his Master would tag along. But now, it seems that he was worried too much.

But to Jiang Muchen and others, Jiang Hou's sigh was a sign of anxiety, the anxiety of going to the outside world to practise. Most disciples would be anxious when going out. Even an Elder would be anxious sometimes.

"We wish the Holy Son a safe adventure and return", they shouted again, as the Flying Ship rose into the air and flew towards the Gate. It was the Scarlet Gate of Heaven that leads to the outside world. It is the only entrance too. At least on the surface.

When the Flying Ship flew close to the Gate, a scarlet light flashed from it and enveloped the Ship. When the light receded, the Flying Ship was no more.

And the disciples slowly dispersed, while invigorated, they kept discussing the matters of the Holy Son. Who he was in the past, his drastic change, and the not epic battle at the Grand Competition.
